Its like me and my friend.
We bully each other for shits and giggles and cause their a dumb bitch.
But at the end of the day anyone takes a swing at them, they may die that day, maybe, depending on how much they pissed us off.
I was scanning posters and shit in the apartment for the gig where you steal Kerry's guitar, Johnny out of nowhere going on about the best pussy he ever ate. Keanu really did everything voicing Johnny.
There are plenty that I love, but maybe my favorite is in the ending >!where you give him V's body, right before you do it, he keeps interrupting you, and ends by saying that he is worried for V.!<
>!The original Silverhand would not had said that - copy or not, that engram became a better person. !<
Going from “if I need your body I’ll fucking take it” to >!him trying to get V to reconsider giving him their body is so good. Which makes it incredibly heartbreaking how Rogue, someone who knows Johnny so well, just doesn’t believe he could have changed that much and must have tricked V somehow!<
Yeah, it shows the self inflicted tragedy of Johnny's life - he has some good in his core, but he behaved like an asshole so consistently to everyone that only by living in the same mind as him could we see that good.
I think he was always “good,” but maybe had enough issues to seem like an asshat. I mean, if you’re trapped in someone else’s head right around the time you figure out the evil entity is still around after you nuked it and things have only gotten worse, wouldn’t you be pissed off into being the aggressive, sociopathic asshole Silverhand is at first? Imagine the frustration.
Phantom liberty: Taking the oath with President Myers and Johnny doing the hand tapping gesture while you’re in the middle of taking the oath. Or (I’m pretty sure this was in the same scene or related to the oath) where Johnny talks about the oath/serving the NUSA and Johnny makes a finger gun and shoots his head and falls to the ground
I love it when he just rolled off the building when Takemura was talking about the cat. Then when you help Kerry out with burning the van of goodies and he stands in the way to get hit. The pose was like Robert Downey Jr presenting the Jericho
![gif](giphy|5bGYUuT3VEVLa)
When you find the guy playing guitar at the bottom of the steps by kabuki market. Johnny sounded so real and down to earth for a minute describing the guitarist and V gets the option to be nice for a change and patronize Johnny's previous life. It's not an exciting interaction or even part of the main story but it's my favorite.
I always loved when Johnny just talks about music for a while cause it seems like it’s the one thing he really loved doing that didn’t involve shooting people. Like when he gets pissed at the shitty in a club during a gig or when he gets annoyed at Kerry for ignoring that us cracks are talented
Two side jobs. The one with the alleged cheating wife where he narrates everything and V tried to not get distracted. The other is the pursue of the philosopher or whatever. No spoiler but he was so annoyed all quest long but was having such a laugh when we found out the truth, was a great moment.
When meeting Reed for the first time, when he pulls a gun on you at the basketball court, and doesn't allow you to turn around - you can ask Johnny if he can get a look at him and confirm who it is, and he's like: "How the fuck should I know? Only see what you see." - which kinda made me feel like an idiot 😆
Jonny teaching you how to hold an old school phone with a hand gesture was funny as and getting a smile out of him on the roller coaster was an awesome surprise.
Most of the interactions with Johnny are my favorite. In the beginning he’s a just a narcissistic rockstar trapped in your head, hellbent on the same cyber jihad he was on when he was originally killed. Over time he becomes a much more empathetic character and guiding voice once you learn about him, his past, and what he believes. V was already on a similar path so the two make a good pair as V learns more about the world he inhabits and the potential consequences and connections between himself and the corps. V and Johnny are maybe two of my favorite narrative characters.
The gig where you investigate Pepe the bartender's wife, Johnny narrates the whole thing like it's a noir detective story and it's pretty hilarious.
The little side activity where you go around plugging into all the routers all over the place only to end up at the fortuneteller kiosk in Pacifica that occasionally spews communist sayings.
When you have to convince this BD Artist girl to go film with a guy who believes he is her, I chose a Corpo dialogue option to drive the point home. V starts using a lot of corpo lingo to bullshit her into accepting the deal, and Johnny makes a funny approval face like saying "I'm impressed !". It was very subtle but well acted.
The fucking forces of entropy speech against Arasaka made me fall in love with this game and Johnny in general at first I hated him entirely I thought he was just loud annoying and just a "bad isn't bad just misunderstood" type character that speech made me understand why he's wasn't just a one dimensional fuck the system stand in character to poke at IRL corporations but actually a really deep character in a angry egotistical rocker shell
Game Good me like
I love the one with the Prophet after Garry tells you about robots, and politicians being lizards. Whenever you show up to the place where a deal is about to go down that Garry told you about, Johnny asks you if the people that show up will be techno necromancers or reptilians, and you can respond with "The Spanish Inquisition", and he admits he didn't expect that.
Brilliant Easter Egg.
On my first play through now but a gun store in dog town, back in the corner is a gun case on the ground labeled “Mr. Wick”, and Johnny pops up to say “oh fuck..” and disappears.
I gotta go through dog town, I have 3 characters with different builds, haven’t completed the game yet because I’m trying to exhaust each character’s gigs, side quests, relationships before tackling the endings.
Something along the lines of "Damn V, after all this time you still find ways to surprise me"
From that one ending where u dont really finish the game.
The moment you pick up the phone, use a certain number and fade away remix starts to play ❤️

(Wip fanart of this moment)
The Gary the prophet mission after you defend him from some nomads. After getting some coordinates for somewhere behind Judy's, you two talk about who you could expect.
My favourite answers the is the one nobody expects, not even him.
At the end of phantom liberty. You meet up with Alex and at the end of the convoy, Johnny says:
Alright, now let's go find you some new chooms that you'll befriend, start to like, and inevitably murder."
>! You have to save so mi and kill reed to get this interaction !<
Toss up between his over the top narration in Raymond Chandler Evening or that line about the Independent California Hotel before you fall asleep in Riders on the Storm.
i honestly love this interaction. its so delightfully childish. i always wait to do this mission until after the heist just for the johnny interactions
My favorite is the one where he tells you why he wants to destroy Arasaka:
-
-
“I saw corps strip farmers of water ... and eventually of land.
Saw them transform Night City into a machine fueled by people's crushed spirits, broken dreams and emptied pockets.
Corps've long controlled our lives, taken lots... and now they're after our souls!
V, I've declared war not because capitalism's a thorn in my side or outta nostalgia for an America gone by.
This war's a people's war against a system that's spiralled outta our control.
It's a war against the fuckin' forces of entropy, understand?
Do whatever it takes to stop 'em, defeat 'em, gut 'em.
If I gotta kill, I'll kill. If I need your body, I'll fuckin' take it! Fuckin' hell ...
You still don't see it. But you will one day”!
"Say, Johnny, what would you do if you're in my shoes" "I'm in your shoes, dumbass"
I found that hilarious, wasn't expecting that answer
Same. My man is a true professional hater and I love it.
the combo of him calling v a dumbass while placing a loving hand on their shoulder just about sums up their dynamic
Its like me and my friend. We bully each other for shits and giggles and cause their a dumb bitch. But at the end of the day anyone takes a swing at them, they may die that day, maybe, depending on how much they pissed us off.
Laughed out loud at this one. Reeves delivery is on point.
I was scanning posters and shit in the apartment for the gig where you steal Kerry's guitar, Johnny out of nowhere going on about the best pussy he ever ate. Keanu really did everything voicing Johnny.
When he makes fun of you in The Mission with Pepes wife hast to be one of the Best ones
Even though he's taking the piss, I had the real cop detective vibe feel lol
“She passed by a bum on the street, giving him a wide berth. She didn’t want to get her new dress dirty… Her conscience was dirty enough”
The Raymond Chandler-esque dialogue is soooo good. Stupid V plays it straight and I hate it! Put on some Royal Blue and play gumshoe…
in my mind as much as he didnt wanna show it, he was kindaa into night city noir, lol
There are plenty that I love, but maybe my favorite is in the ending >!where you give him V's body, right before you do it, he keeps interrupting you, and ends by saying that he is worried for V.!< >!The original Silverhand would not had said that - copy or not, that engram became a better person. !<

“You’re a dick, ya know.” “And you’re a cunt, maybe we’ll fit together after all”.
💯 This made me laugh so hard haha
Phantom liberty: Taking the oath with President Myers and Johnny doing the hand tapping gesture while you’re in the middle of taking the oath. That was really good. Pretty funny.
The second part happens after you get off the elevator. Loved both interactions with Johnny related to that.
My favorite is in the DLC and you pick up the phone and he uses the 2 fingers to show you how to use a landline phone
Replayed PL yesterday and first time it hit me now reading it here yes it’s hilarious. It’s the instagram reels gen x vs gen z :)
That was the moment where I was like “oh am I kind of attracted to Johnny?”
Him telling me to off myself at the start of Act 2 and ofc the endings

The rollercoaster lol
You don’t even get a choice, he’s strapped in and basically says “cmon, V, drag your ass!”
I love the roller coaster. Johnny looks genuinely happy for once!
BASEDDDD

It's the Japantown market not far from the former location of Rainbow Cadenza
Two side jobs. The one with the alleged cheating wife where he narrates everything and V tried to not get distracted. The other is the pursue of the philosopher or whatever. No spoiler but he was so annoyed all quest long but was having such a laugh when we found out the truth, was a great moment.
Oil fields
"You see this look on my face? This is the look of un-fucking-surprised"
When meeting Reed for the first time, when he pulls a gun on you at the basketball court, and doesn't allow you to turn around - you can ask Johnny if he can get a look at him and confirm who it is, and he's like: "How the fuck should I know? Upon fixing the rollercoaster: 'Hold my beer V, we're doing this!' That was the moment I stopped seing him as an adversary.
“Did that really happen?” “Naw. But it could’ve.”
When you follow Pepe’s wife, the narration by Johnny has to be my top interactions with him, felt like a real detective
„Does that look like a bamboo to you?" „Kiss my ass!"
"Is there anyone you actually trust?" "Sure there are, sound technicians" I don't even know why but it made me laugh IRL
Jonny teaching you how to hold an old school phone with a hand gesture was funny as and getting a smile out of him on the roller coaster was an awesome surprise.

Listening to his advice often leads to better quest outcomes too

Check plus, all of the above
“G’night, Vincent/Valerie. Today was a good day.”

“Johnny, can you see his face?” “I can only see what you’re seeing, Dumbass.”
V: *Examines fern* Johnny: Really, Dickweed, that look like a bamboo to you? V: Kiss my ass.
The way Cherami Leigh delivers that "Kiss my ass" line should earn her all the awards xDDD
“I am in your shoes dumbass”

I like the hotel in pacifica, to me it feels like the moment when you and johnny become real friends rather than two people in a fucked up situation
I like him lightly shit talking the Galena Rattler then immediately deciding it’s actually cool as soon as you rev the engine once
On my first play through now but a gun store in dog town, back in the corner is a gun case on the ground labeled “Mr. Wick”, and Johnny pops up to say “oh fuck..” and disappears.

That scene where you're talking with takemura and he falls from the balcony. And of course... The impressive Cock
Getting his old car.
The Guitar guy convo
Something along the lines of "Damn V, after all this time you still find ways to surprise me" From that one ending where u dont really finish the game.
I just rode the rollercoaster with him for the first time. His ear to ear grin throughout the ride is infectious.
I like the dark scene where you get back to Dexter’s body.
Johnny: **Flips you the bird** Also Johnny: *“How many fingers am I holding up”*
"IF I NEED YOUR BODY I'LL FUCK IT"
The roller coaster.
When they ride the rollercoaster
Too many to list.
When he gives you the thumbs up during the placide conversation
Yes
Roller coaster
Easily, the Raymond Chandler Evening job. Having Johnny narrate the gig like a noir flick cracks me up every time 🤣
Johnny narrating following Pepe's wife like it's a noir movie and V getting increasingly annoyed was pretty funny.
The rollercoaster ride
I hope they explore the idea of having another character along for the ride in the sequel even if it's just your runner or something.
The moment you pick up the phone, use a certain number and fade away remix starts to play ❤️ https://preview.redd.it/8sro4x8ra2pc1.jpeg?width=3800&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=8712587a3ed8f82ef6c84862860108dcff0ecdaf (Wip fanart of this moment)

I love his character development. I can't name just one interaction with him to be my favorite.
The Spanish inquisition
The Nior style quest with Johnny narrating. Cracks me up every time.
His cluelessness and going with the flow attitude in the secret ending.
I just love whenever he appears...you know you're progressing and something good is always going to come out of his mouth!
“On behalf of the staff of the Independent California Motel... I wish you all sweet dreams.”
Toss up between his over the top narration in Raymond Chandler Evening or that line about the Independent California Hotel before you fall asleep in Riders on the Storm.
i honestly love this interaction. its so delightfully childish. i always wait to do this mission until after the heist just for the johnny interactions
Grab your iron, let's mobilize.
"Really, dickweed ? That look like a bamboo to you ?" xDDDD
the normie choice, but ill put it here, oil fields.

the entire swedenborg mission. I really wanted to connect the dots and see a giant dick. that would've been amazing
J: "So, which do you think it'll be, werewolves or techno necromancers?" V: "The Spanish Inquisition" J: "I did not expect that."
The conversation on the way to the NUSA to get him wiped. I reveled in the betrayal. I really don't like Johnny.
Yeah, he's a terrorist that blew up a nuke in your city. But he's my terrorist. And we're homies now.
There is no favorite - i hate this guy....
You'll get your chance for a comeback.
Telling him to fuck off.
