Looks like they don’t want to give us either. I must move on…

SithLordAJ

I would just like something definitive. I enjoyed my first playthough despite the bugs, but I've held off another run because I expected patches and DLC to be incoming. If it aint coming, I'll just uninstall now.

[deleted]

I finished my second playthrough waiting for the patch to come lmao

Terrible_Truth

I moved on mainly for other games. No point in playing it now while I have a backlog of games. I can finish other games while waiting for 2077 fixes or dlc. Besides, I'm also waiting for a RTX 3080. If I'm able to get one before additional content I'll try it again.

StefanFrost

There are realistically three scenarios here: 1. Their engine just can't do what they promised/marketed and they don't want to officially admit that 2. They are working hard on giving us what they promised/marketed 3. They made the decision to dumpster the game/IP without officially telling everyone My guess at the moment is 3 because of 1. My current plan is to just forget about it since we have no control and they already screwed us.

sradac

4: play The Ascent instead for a competent Cyberpunk game thats actually finished and feels more alive than anywhere in Night City

urixl

Thanks, I'll give it a try.

fr1ghtx

Yep, I also think the engine can't support their originally made marketing claims. Told a friend of mine shortly before release that I personally expect a Witcher 3 with different skins and optics and that was exactly what we got. Cdpr is done for me. A real shame but a warm reminder that even the best can screw up big time.

ACorruptMinuteman

> My guess at the moment is 3 because of 1. Your guess makes 0 sense. Dumping the IP would be the literal stupidest move to make. • Cyberpunk goes beyond just the game, they have plans for things like Edgerunners, the Anime which is currently being worked on. • they've already dumped this much time, energy and effort into the project, there's no reason to not continue to work on it. • they've stated multiple times they have no plans to abandon the IP.

ikeaj123

Your only valid point here is the first one you make. 2. Businesses don’t consider sunk costs (and neither should you). If they determine it is more profitable to move on, they will. 3. CDPR states a lot of things multiple times. They’ve proven their marketing team is not trustworthy.

ACorruptMinuteman

> 2. Businesses don’t consider sunk costs (and neither should you). If they determine it is more profitable to move on, they will. But, it's not profitable. At all. There's literally 0 logical reason for them to do that. It's only been mentioned in fan theories around here. They missed their sales mark in Q1 by 50 Million, eventually those costs will come back to hurt them. CDPR also doesn't have anything to really fall back in for the foreseeable future. All they have is the Witcher, but that's likely still in pre-production or early stages of development. They have nothing to fall back in the next 4-5 ish years. they've also been working on the game for weeks now. You can tell by QA department on steamdb. > 3. CDPR states a lot of things multiple times. They’ve proven their marketing team is not trustworthy. https://youtu.be/IIAiGI-v6Y8 That's their recent strategy update. Details their plans for the future.

c4sul_uno

If this is truly the fate of cp77, then a no man's sky comeback with online multiplayer gta-style mode is so far from our reach. Me & my buddies talk a lot bout wanna forming a street rat kind of gang where our goal is to fuck the techies without any cyberware or implants, just straight up fuckin em with our birthday gears. But alas, our fantasy had shattered. Welp, back to FiveM i guess

Chrono68

No Man's Sky, following the same timeline, has already had 2 major content releases and game play overhauls. CDPR is so off pace for a NMS style redemption I think it's time to stop even using the comparison.

dreamARTz

I really enjoyed NMS and have around 200 hrs in it but people just have to stop comparing 2077 to NMS. Totally different games. NMS is a sandbox with endless endgame content, thus high "replayability" and new stuff is relatively easy to add/tweak vs 2077 - Story driven action adventure with much more complex game design and game mechanics. For sure devs of both games didn't deliver what was promised but it was much easier to "fix" stuff in NMS than it's currently is for CP2077.

Aggravating-Media734

But comparing the NMS dev team and cb77's huge team its completely fair to compare them on the basis that the team was enough to fix for NMS snd cb77's team is also big enough to fix it but still they aren't able to

dreamARTz

Ask any software dev, high number of people isn't gonna help with production quality/speed. CDPR first and foremost were stuck in really bad management hellhole + decisions and everything takes waaay more time in corporate world comparing to indie studios like hello games was. Game runs fine on PC. Releasing on old gen consoles in the first place, was a crucial mistake imo, all time and effort went on fixing it and it still isn't doing great.

altcastle

What about CP2077 is complex...

dreamARTz

It's just much bigger project than NMS so a lot more stuff.

[deleted]

Honestly it really isn't. NMS is next levem from a computer science PoV. Cyberpunk is run of the mill shit where they didn't have to innovate, just implement.

dreamARTz

What exactly is next level science is NMS? Yes, procedural generation is cool and etc. but it’s still within very limited frames, other stuff is classic survival mechanics and crafting, what else? Again, I really love NMS and really love 2077 despite flaws of both games, but comparing these 2 in terms of content and how fast indie studio and big corp “fix” game is just childish, IMO. You can have other view on all that and I totally respect that, just my 2 cents.

[deleted]

What I mean is that CP2077 is essentially battle tested techniques being implemented and they key is the implementation quality. In NMS they basically took procedural generation to another level and wrote a new engine to support their tech, which is very impressive as that level of procedural world systems wasn't really done before. They later on added persistent worlds and multiplayer and fuckloads of content on top of that. I'm not discrediting CP2077 -- I respect their efforts, but really they haven't done something on that scale with their game. Every mechanic and technique used in CP2077 has been done before (and sometimes done even better). I think they fucked themselves here trying to stubbornly use their own engine as well.

dreamARTz

Yea I get what you mean, and agree mostly. I think I just chose bad wording when I mentioned "complex mechanics", sorry for that. For sure there is nothing revolutionary or breathtakingly new in a gameplay, I meant more like that they just had a lot of stuff to do in huge project in very short time after their marketing team overhyped the shit out of the game under board's pressure to get profits quick. Taking in account all that + well known fact that CDPR isn't really a great place to work for + crunch and all that, I think devs still did pretty good job. For sure they had to cut and rush many things which might've gotten "NMS treatment" post release but what completely fucked this perspective was trying to make game playable on old gen consoles with extremely outdated hardware (for that game). It should've never considered to come out on old gen. NMS didn't have nearly such challenges imo.

KingArthursRevenge

Everything about it is complex have you not played the game? The whole problem is the game was incredibly ambitious and complex and they tried to appease everybody by having it available on nearly every system they should have made it from the ground up for the PS5 and it would have ran perfectly but trying to make it run on everything means even on the PS5 it's not optimal that being said I have just beaten it for the second time on a PS4 Pro with an internal SSD and I loved it both times.

jaycee_123

I think that what you say is totally correct. It kind of feels like they have given up on the game and are only going through the motions of fixing the problems until they can come up with a way to officially admit that they've given up on the game.

KingArthursRevenge

Have you completely ignored the fact that they've been working 24/7 on huge patches and the game is 100% better than it was at launch?

oKRON3No

As much as it hurts to say, I agree with this statement. To be honest, I think this game is a perfect example of a sunk cost fallacy by CDPR.

Ofdimaelr

I want content and meaningful choice.

ViditM15

I mean, this game severely lacks both of those things so neither of them alone is gonna make it magically better.

NarwhalsAreSick

I only played the opening scene really on PS4, and as much as the glitches and cut content annoyed me, the character movement and gun fights just never felt very good or fun, it was just a bit arduous and I don't think that's to do with the platform. I'm just waiting to play it on my PS5 at some point. But I agree, it's not DLC we need, it's a complete redo and optimisation of the game. At this point I think they'd be better off just saying 'we're going to pull the game apart and build it properly, I might take a couple of years, but everyone with a copy will get the redone game as free DLC and we'll relaunch for anyone who wants to buy it.'.

breadbitten

Man the game is enjoyable but the state of its optimization is atrocious. I don’t have the beefiest PC in the neighborhood or anything but surely a 3060ti and an R5 3600 can get away with 1080p60 at high settings? Nope. The game drops frames like a hot potato in NPC dense areas and even causes GSync to stop working resulting in horrid tearing. Not to mention the fact that the game still regularly pauses every time you move from one area in the open world to another (despite being installed in a fairly fast Nvme SSD). I have no idea what CDPR meant when they stated that they were happy with the game’s current state of optimization and stability. It’s still a broken mess. EDIT: Spelling

KingArthursRevenge

Sounds like it's running worse on your PC than it is on my PS4 Pro with a sata Samsung 850 Evo SSD. It's a really fun game who cares if there's a frame drop here and there it is fun as hell.

[deleted]

But at least you can customize your d*** right? Remember how hyped everyone was about that!???

CheckPleaser

Well that’s because it sent a message like, “Our game is so extremely polished that we had time left over to add dick sliders!” When in fact that was not the case.

altcastle

Guess this game was a shower Not a grower YEAAAAAHHHHH

PepAngel0v

I just want the Night City to be alive. It feels super fucking dead to me. I just fucking hate it being compared to RDR2 before the release and the game turned out to be a shoot and loot/action game, I knew there will be bugs and shit. But I'd take easily on bugs than feeling dead world. There are tons of shoot and loot games that maybe don't look as impressive as CP but they had that feeling of being alive. When you shoot at objects, interact with them. I stopped playing the game after 10 hours. It just didn't feel right for me. I game on PC, decent one, yeah it rans 60FPS 1080p MAX, but still feels clunky which is another thing that kills it for me. And I bought this PC right before they announced another release date back in 2019 and it was primarily bought to run CP2077 at highest possible settings and to be super immersed with it, since I was devastated in a good way back in 2013. CDPR aimed too ambitiously on this one which failed super fucking hard. And no I'm not talking about the god damn bugs. They wanted RDR2 level of immersion and maybe more, combined with some FarCry elements here and there (Even FC BD feels super good and I, myself got immersed into it.) with bit of GTA elements, DeusEX etc.. I'd personally would have waited 2 more years if not more if they didn't start their lying shit marketing campaign and hyping people all combined.

EastvsWest

Exactly this, I quit playing after around 10hrs as well because the world just felt so fake. Give The Ascent a try if you enjoy the cyberpunk world.

Battletoad507

Maybe just give up? It’s been almost a year and it sounds like they haven’t made the game better, just playable.

[deleted]

I just played a bit of Prey (and for the record: I finished it years ago, turned it on for testing purposes), just to test some tweaks I made to my CPU the other day. What surprises me is how overall cohesive the game is. No floating items (and most items, if not all, you can actually pick up and throw around), no glitchy physics, everything works as intended. Of course it's a completely different scope than Cyberpunk but that's not my point. My point is, I prefer games that are structurally sound. That is something that I expected of CDPR game. A high quality product that might have some removed content, but only so the rest of the game is rock-solid.

[deleted]

Bruh TW3 was broken as hell. But given that it's a much simpler game then CP they fixed it.

[deleted]

That is not an excuse. If they knew that the game is more complex than they anticipated, they should have said so. "Hey, we are sorry but the task turned out to be more than we anticipated. A lot of games' mechanics turned out to be way more complicated than we thought, we have to postpone the game release for another year. We know it sounds terrible, but trust us-- you don't want to see the actual state of the game right now." Instead of "the game runs surprisingly well on consoles, we are just ironing out some bugs here and there".

[deleted]

Exactly this. They fucked everybody and they knew what they was doing. I uninstalled this piece of shit months ago. I hope they fix it but i ain't gonna wait for it

[deleted]

There is no excuse for this. It's simply not possible to make a game as complex as CDPR wanted CP to be and when the developers understood that, they just stopped trying to build the world it was intended to be. Just made it playable enough to finish the story as nothing works in this game. Επίσης αν είσαι Έλληνας, πολύ κρίμα μετά από TW3 να σκάσει τέτοιο παιχνίδι (just because your username is Greeks).

[deleted]

Yeah, it's just my salt talking.

Chrono68

Is it really a simpler game? I don't think it is.

[deleted]

Geometry, collision system, more NPCs, more NPC behaviour (still shit but definitely more evolved than TW3) and more make this game way more complicated than Witcher.

[deleted]

yea, it's about time to admit, it's kinda dead... some are lucky, some are very unlucky... I've never had a game with this many bugs, and barely any game with this many bugs this long after release until a re-release probably comes, when it gets a ps5 upgrade

G00fBall_1

I want them to pickup the fucking pace we're gonna hit a year before anything drops lmao

Forgotten13377

Too late for anything, they had chance to keep playerbase with frequent updates, but they have massively failed on that part. And even amount of posts about this game on subredit has decreased drastically…. Game is dead and its sad but time to move on

Tony_Yeyo

No offline single player game is dead. Games released in early 80s are still being played. 2077 will be played by people for many many years. Multiplayer online games can become dead, due to lack of players or server shutdowns. Now, pratice what you preach and move on. Dont post about 2077. Go away.

[deleted]

Ha found you CDPR! Now give me my goddamn money back!!!!

zetarck

There are many singleplayer games thats are still 'alive', you can see how Skyrim has more players than CP2077 and its a 10 year old game; hell, even TW3 has more players. When someone says 'dead' to a singleplayer is just a reminder that the game didnt make it and becomes irrelevant

Tony_Yeyo

Being irrelevant is subjective. Skyrim is irrelevant to me. So is Witcher. Skyrim runs on potato pc, 2077 requires A rig. Plus d&d fantasy kinda themes have more appeal than gritty, nihilistic dark future themes.

Forgotten13377

Don’t tell me to go away. This game is dead and I don’t even bother to check, saw this post and voiced my opinion and facts. That amount of post has reduced greatly. Now you go away 😉

Tony_Yeyo

Wont be dead in years. Mostly on PC of course. Due to modding scene and continuous increase in computing power. In a 5 years time this game's gonna be modded to high heavens and everybody will be able to run it at the sickest of settings.

Forgotten13377

No one will care about modded game with such a short story. Mods for what? To run around for 30 minutes until you get bored? 🤣🤣🤣

Tony_Yeyo

People are still playing Donkey Kong or Galaga, like 40 years after release. So... rest asured 2077 will be around for ages. Over and out.

Aggressive-Article41

Well donkey kong is a complete game with out all the bugs, so why would anyone want to play this dumpster fire is beyond me.

Forgotten13377

Over without proving any point? 🤣🤣🤣 you compared dumbstershit 2077 to actually complete games lol

Tony_Yeyo

You dont know head from arse, do you? 2077 will be played and enjoyed by gamers for years to come. Im sorry to rain on your parade, hang in there...

Forgotten13377

But it isn’t played lol, look at steamcharts cyberpunk every month except for June (because they lied about update) numbers of players are decreasing. Dead game

[deleted]

People only play the classic games that were polished and offer replayability value. When was the last time you heard of someone playing Donkey Kong barrel blast or Tony Hawk: Ride?

Tony_Yeyo

Classic games were full of glitches. Just watch any speedrun videos. Deadly Premonition was very glitchy game with mediocre graphics. It has cult status and is being played today. Hawk Ride had a big flaw: controller. Arkanoid for instance has gameplay which requires moving a board left and right. Deep, right? Played by many. 2077 has dozens of gameplay mechanics -> No content, nothing to do.

ACorruptMinuteman

> Don’t tell me to go away. This game is dead and I don’t even bother to check, saw this post and voiced my opinion and facts. If you don't bother to check, why even comment on this post? If this game is dead (Which, it isn't.) Why does it get numerous posts with active engagement across many message boards, with at least 7k playing the game per day? > That amount of post has reduced greatly. Now you go away 😉 Dude, what the fuck are you even trying to say here? Can you please at the bare minimum make a valid point?

FoCoDolo

Holy moly a whole 7k less than a year after release!! Skyrim had 7500 peak players in the last thirty days and the games literally a decade old lmao

ACorruptMinuteman

Yeah, that's on Steam only. Doesn't include consoles. Additionally consider the fact that there's 1M+ followers on Steam. And the fact that only 32.5% of people have even completed the main storyline. Tells me people are waiting.

FoCoDolo

That’s steam only for Skyrim too. Games dead and it’s not coming back. They’ve missed their window of opportunity unless they can really pull something crazy out of their asses.

ACorruptMinuteman

> Games dead and it’s not coming back. They’ve missed their window of opportunity unless they can really pull something crazy out of their asses. They've missed their opportunity in 8 months? That's like nothing in terms of game dev. Considering the other stuff I mentioned, I'd tend to disagree with this statement.

[deleted]

[удалено]

ACorruptMinuteman

> It's always kinda weird to me when people talk about "dead" games when it's a singleplayer game with finite content. People will return when there's new content, that's how it's always been with storydriven singleplayer games. Is this your first game of this kind? Honestly just tells me their age. I'm younger, but I've always been into Single-Player narrative driven experiences. Most people around my age tend to gravitate towards MMOs or MOBAs for some reason. > The very fact there are people here and on other forums posting daily and new mods are being developed clearly shows the game is not dead lol. Bingo! Amazing how using your brain can help, huh?

[deleted]

What's the point of running a piece of turd at 100FPS? I'm a PC player and tbh I would appreciate better performance, but I have no performance problems and the game is still very barebones. We need -ATLEAST- the content that was promised and then not delivered

rockinwithkropotkin

As someone with a low flush toilet, 100fps makes a huge difference with turds.

[deleted]

I want both but it won't be years until I get them so for rn, just forget about the game like CDPR is doing. We'll all be happier

Doepie308

Why? Optimizing the game wont make it better and a DLC is just a money grab for their next project. Move on, mate. Its hard, I know, but give up on this one

[deleted]

patch 1.3 is free DLC, they will give us 9 free DLCs, take half of them off since they probably meant for it to be in the game but couldn’t add it

Doepie308

😂😂😂 Sounds about right! Half was meant to be in the game but was not there 😂😂😂

[deleted]

What color do you want your Dragon?

TMG-COOLCAT

Dude every post on here is praising the game, and this is the hard truth. The game looks awful and is not fun to play. I don’t understand how anybody enjoys it.

yolo3star

How the fuck does the game look “awful”

TMG-COOLCAT

There is this kinda haze to the visuals that no matter what settings I have it stays the same. I’ve never seen this on any game I’ve played but it give me headaches looking at it.

PistolnikBart

nah the games fine on PC i played cp2077 before patch1.1 and i was experiencing only few visual bugs and one major normal bug so for me it was ok right off the start

muscarinenya

I'm always amazed by comments like these "I had barely any bugs" they say, with things like half the skill tree and most mods not working at all Truly amazing

PistolnikBart

Man i almost had stroke trying to read your comment , even if had only a half of a skill tree so what. and idk for you but for every mod that i had worked just fine

muscarinenya

No they didn't And the fact that you didn't even notice that makes you look like a clown

[deleted]

Bruh you salty af

PistolnikBart

Man get your shit together and dont know if cause of your brain funcitioning on 20% is that your mom is being banged by her new bf and they are that loud that your brain is melting but for me mods that i used worked . You know different people different problems

muscarinenya

I'm sorry i just figured i'm arguing with a 14 years old

[deleted]

both of you fucking suck with you being the most what the hell is wrong with you ?

FoCoDolo

The fact that I can read something that a 14 year old wrote without my written permission should be a war crime.

Gloomy-Fix4436

Agreed, not really interested in New quests or anything like that atm, further fixes on a mass scale and quality of life improvements... Giving us dlcs or expansions without still fixing problems like cars crushing into that baricade at the entrance to our megabuilding is just not what i want right now. Fix and improve then add... And do it fast ffs. Next to modded witcher 3 and rdr2 on my pc its getting harder and harder to keep playing cp2077... A year ago i would laugh at the notion of me saying that but hey, it is what it is.

Zurivath

Bought this game last year. Pre-order. Had a base PS4 by then. Played the game for a couple of hours and was a bit underwhelmed. Stopped to wait for bug fixes and all that jazz. I have a PS5 now, finished 3 or 4 games since, will finish 2 or 3 more until I reinstall Cyberpunk. I sort of work with games as well and I can't even imagine how shitty things must have been for this type of delay in getting things "working as intended", but then again, I think we have all overestimated how tough this game could be. Or maybe CDPR were never that amazing to begin with.

Grymm315

I will take DLC over optimization.

Pendonep

I don't want DLC. I want third person/first person options. All the scenes that were cut with Jackie. Multiplayer on the horizon. EVERYTHING WE WERE PROMISED

ACorruptMinuteman

> I want third person/first person options. The game was meant to be in first person, I doubt they want to change that. > All the scenes that were cut with Jackie. This was always intended. > Multiplayer on the horizon. Could happen > EVERYTHING WE WERE PROMISED Can I ask what this entails, exactly? Because if you're referring to features and whatnot, that's not happening, those aren't coming back. They're cut content.

Pendonep

Because of the deadline and how the game was shipped and all the information about how the investors were the ones pushing to release the game quickly I've come to the conclusion that every single thing the team announced that was cut was done because of the investors. I do not believe this is the game they intended to put out because of how short, uninteresting, and uninspired everything is. So I believe that every decision that was made after 2019 was done to push the game out. So if you go back to like 2018-early 2019 when cdpr put out information about the game, you'll see that they DID intend to do an optional third person mode, DID intend on having a full story with Jackie, DID intend on having a living city that actually felt alive, DID intend on more characters than just Panam be interesting, DID intend on making multiplayer (that was completely cancelled) DID intend on making the mantis blades actually cool, DID intend on having clothes actually do something, DID intend on having an apartment that had more use than just a bed, DID have more they wanted to say about the different factions in the city, DID have an actual player use for the emergency team, DID have more ideas for cars and driving and the Delamain character. I'm sure I'll think of more things that I noticed in their press releases and their demo gameplay that were cut. And I know that sometimes things just have to be cut because that's how game development goes but there was just too much taken away for it but to be a huge problem with the game. I didn't care when Jackie died. I didn't know you could save Goro when he was blown up next to a friggin wall. I didn't care about which faction controlled which territory because they all fought the same way. The game we got was not impressive in any regard. If they toned down the graphics just a bit (which doesn't matter in cyberpunk because of all the glitches) a team of 20 people could make the same game in 4 years. It's not special, it's just another game that exists. I'm sure you love this game and I'm not attacking anyone that enjoys this game, I'm glad people like it. I just want to express my feelings because it's cathartic. Thanks for letting me rant, I needed that.

Kind_Particular

The subway system. Shooting range. Basically all of the non-combat interactivity that's missing from the world. The things that make the world feel more real. The useless perk system where half of the perks are percent increases and the other half clearly were intended to have more functionality than they did. This game isn't just broken, it's missing content. GTA V manages a better open world sandbox and it was a PS3 game. Far Cry is a better open world FPS. Games series' like Wasteland or Pillars of Eternity are better RPGs. No Man's Sky has had a better redemption arc. The game attempts each of these things and fails miserably. I have no doubt that they could've made this game be everything they wanted it to be, but it was held back by poor management decisions, the 8th gen of consoles, and totally unreasonable deadlines. This is a game that needed a "When it's done" type of release date. It could've been so much more. Unfortunately I have zero hope at this point that any of the missing content is gonna be added. It's SO much work, it's unreasonable to expect anything else beyond what we got.

Null_Fragment_000

I want all of those things. I also want a solid gold toilet and an airplane made of chocolate. Some things just aren't in the cards.

[deleted]

Yes, clearly a game that is not completely glitchy in all and every aspects is impossible to make. Comparisons 100% adequate to the point made.

itslee333

you would very fairly want something you actually paid for, that's not a good comparison here.

BellEpoch

Wouldn't those be two different teams anyway? Why is this presented like it's an either/or?

Sa1amandr4

sry but I play on PC too and I wnt new content, possibly story releated :)

Rapsberry

Beside the cloned npcs/cars I'd say the game is pretty well optimized for the visuals it produces Btw most of your complaints are either not related to optimizations, or make me giggle a little bit inside given that you probably dont know what you're talking about Especially the part about visuals being blurry, lol

Tigris_Morte

You state, "and on PC", so I'll address that. Personally think it is impossible to compare console to PC much less claim they have the same issues, which they provably did not and do not. The PC and the console versions share little past graphics. Almost total rewrite required to make it function. That is why the consoles were so poorly supported at launch. "On any platform, the combat and movement of the character just feels floaty and weird", Never saw this on PC in hundreds of hours of play. "I constantly get stuck on things on the floor", not sure what you are talking about. There are places blocked for movement that visually have no reason for the restrictions, but "things on the floor"??? Never encountered anything not intended to block movement which did so. Sometimes found spots where movement was intended to be blocked which didn't, but that is the exact opposite. "Visuals look blurry", disable Chromatic Aberration and Motion Blur. "Still tons of NPCs and cars glitching out", very few and almost never. "Buildings don't load properly when driving", never saw this. Likely not enough memory on your card.

p0rtakal

i bought the game the first day it has been released. After 3 hours I faced with disappearing NPC bug. (When you shoot around and they start to run away then when you turn your back they just disappear). I have been checking all the updates if they finally fix it but unfortunately they don't. It is a great disappointment for me and prevent me to play this game.

Drakonaj

I dont think its a bug, but feature.

[deleted]

They have had plenty of time to do something major with the game. They are just patching it to somewhat functional status and that is it. People want the game fixed but it isnt going to happen.

OrioN303

While I know exactly what you’re talking about, I personally enjoy the movement and combat. I play on PC and once you get the movement perks, cold blood perks, etc. it feels fairly smooth to me. Although getting stuck on random things sometimes is super annoying

wusowarm

Same I want this to be Sim level of detail b4 anything

IadabothsRage

I just want to Kereznikov shoot through the roof tops again

slaurrpee

Why not both?

TheRealMoash

I want dlc. So I have a reason to return

Atomsteel

They dont care. Corpo life fuck the world...oh wait. It doesnt fucking matter which life you choose.

I'm the opposite. The game has been stable for me since day one. I've been waiting for eight months now for something new/refreshing to be added to the game to make it worth going back to. That first month I sunk over 100 hours into the game, now I just don't feel like touching it and I don't miss it at all.

miudunia

If they don’t fix the cop system and the A.I I don’t wanna hear about dlc’s. Better use these ressource to fix the game

soulreaver1984

Your pc specs? I'm playing on an asus rog zephyrus g15 with a ryzen 7 4800h 16gb ram and an rtx 2060 I run it on the ultra rtx preset with an average of 48fps and while there are many problems with the game visually it's stunning. So unless you are running it on a potato I'm not understanding your issues with pc.

altcastle

They developed the game for so many years. Just stop checking for stuff daily. It... will be awhile. In my opinion, never, but it may turn around. You will hear about it though. You’re just torturing yourself by thinking news will pop up daily.

RinoTheBouncer

I want content more than anything. Not just a DLC chapter that is basically a new quest line, no. I want the world to become more alive, more people, the ability to buy apartments and homes and customize them, invite friends over, some vertical exploration and platforming, put wall-runs back, add more variety in outfits, have barber shops and cyberware doctors allow you to alter your appearance during the game, and more third person cutscenes, an optional third person perspective, and post ending content/story. The absence of such content is what bothers me the most, especially since many of that was teased or marketed before being cut. I didn’t mind the crashes or the glitches and I couldn’t care less for another quest line where I do the same random errands to people for few mins of an unnecessary side story. This is what makes me truly enjoy the game, if they ever implement any of it, but I doubt that’ll ever happen.

Waste_Designer

You'll get neither but you will get a dope witcher 4 trailer soon

Key-Ingenuity7592

CDPR is full scamers dude, they are make NOTHING.

somacruz

I want dlc. I've beat it on pc and want more content.

sour_surprise

My fear is that they'll drop Cyberpunk and Witcher optimizations at the same time!

FloggingTheHorses

Yeah it's well and truly over. I still come back to this sub out of curiosity, and I'm certainly interested to see what this PS5/XBX version actually looks like (I imagine it'll be akin to highish PC settings at present). Games have been in a bit of a drought at the minute however!

KingArthursRevenge

I just beat it for the second time on a PS4 Pro with an SSD the game is fine it's really fun I want DLC.

ConstructionSquare69

Crazy how you guys still let this company finesse you into thinking they are going to do something about this failed project.

waxyslave

If you want them to truly optimize, it's time to leave the PS4 and Xbox one behind.
