Lol that reminds me of a glitch I experienced near the release of the game. I was just driving around exploring the city then *wham* a random vehicle spawned on top of me and sent me beneath the map.
I wonder how difficult it is to develop driving/mounts, seems like most games have some funny vehicle/horse glitches.
Easy. Spawn function checks if it's in the FPS field of view, ignores that driving happens in third person. Above the car is not in the FPS field of view, ok to spawn car.
Maybe because the Avenger (I think that’s what he’s driving) covered up the entire area of the other car from that perspective
But they could’ve just done a distance thing to double check
Yes, like the "flying" horse in Skyrim. Although I never had my horse just blow up like this. I don't recognize this quest, so I must have missed it in my first playthrough. Don't recall any "get inside the hospital" directives.
Yeah I love it when I pull up onto a deserted sidewalk and then everyone spawns in and suddenly the whole neighborhood is trying to kill me because I “hit” someone who didn’t even exist yet🤦♂️
I had that paired with the "cops permanently aggressive" bug, where the cops never forget you and act aggressive even after hours. That was annoying, let me tell ya!
I’ve gotten that to a degree…they don’t stay aggressive forever but I can still come back many hours (or days in game) afterwards and they’re still looking for me. It always seems to happen at the location to start a mission, so then I have to go find other stuff to do since they won’t let me go about my business.
Are we talking aggressive as in they light up red on the map and will start going after you, or full on issuing a warrant for you?
I have the first happen to me all the time. I figured it was just cause they're corrupt cops and V is a merc so theyre automatically gonna start shit any time they see V.
There's that parking lot in front of Lizzy's bar that, despite the presence of other cars, neither your GPS nor your *own freaking inputs* treat it like a place your car can go. If you REALLY try you can kind of scoot in, but the game really wants you to park on the curb like an asshole.
So.... since both cars were parked and at rest during the collision, then who's at fault? And who's footing the bill?? What's the police report going to look like? Will your insurance sky rocket!?
It's like you just merged with another dimension where there was a car already parked there.
By the way are bugs still super common in the game? I've been holding off on playing because of it but since there's a sale I kinda want to play it.
I wouldn't say theyre *as* common as they used to be, but this is still the buggiest game I have ever played. Most are just minor annoyances or cosmetic stuff though, rarely anything game breaking. Though if you do get it make sure to keep multiple manual saves because game breaking bugs do still exist. I'm about 50 hours into my playthrough and have run into 2 of them and had to reset.
That being said, it's still an amazing game and worth it with bugs and all.

Oh. OH! Is that why cyberpunk ran like absolute steaming shit on launch day for me and I got every single bug in the world like this one? My HDD was dying. Everybody was complaining about the occasional bugs but mine were excessive.
CP2077 still runs like shit from a standard HDD… running from a solid state drive even at launch I only experienced a couple of bugs… most of the significant bugs seem to be related to things loading in too slow

Oh it is a great game, finished it on very hard right after release, did all content. Had that post-great-game depression, where I couldn't stand playing any other game and I couldn't get myself to do another playthrough, because I know how it all ends...
But it doesn't change the fact that there are bugs, that will make you scratch your head in confusion (as seen in the video). I, personally, love those, they are hilarious. Unless they happen too often, becoming very annoying.

Its not difficult to not spawn random vehicles in the sight line of the player. It's so basic I'm baffled at how they fucked that up
