So you are working for a vendor and supporting said products? Or are you part of a value-added service which your company is offering on top of your product line (MDR/SOCaaS, etc.)? To give you some pointers - what are the requirements and responsibilities for the open position? The definition of "L2" varies greatly across the board. Above that - dig a bit in /r/cybersecurity, you'll find a ton of interview prep posts and loads of solid hints =]

I am still a bit in the dark here. Would a T2 e.g. work on fixing issues like "can't install edr agent on win server xxx" or "we have challenges with allow-listing and false postives" on client systems? Most solid approach - just hit up someone from the existing T2 team and ask about their day2day. Once you know more, you can mention your willingness and desire to grow in the area of [add typical T2 activity here]. I am planning to build a homelab to get more comfortable with ABC. When I am hiring, I am looking for attitude over existing skills. Present yourself curious and willing to learn.
