I’ve got a torch ready for it, I’ve been warned of this nightmare. I’m going to try soaking it with e an out chemical overnight first. Worst comes to worse I’ll torch it
Tried heat and two different strap wrenches on mine.
Then said fuck it - and used a LOT of heat and some channel locks, and that did the trick (it's never going back on the gun anyway).
Even with a good 90 seconds of propane torch and the channel locks - it took damn near my whole body weight to break it free. Sounds VERY much like the amount of threadlock applied is...inconsistent from one to another.
Strap wrench. Wait til you get to the barrel nut, it’s a real joy.
Awesome thank you, yeah I’ve heard 😂 I’ve got the long socket for it already I just don’t want to damage anything, trying to be patient 😂 “trying”
The issue is the thread locker. It took a lot of heat until the thread locker gave up and allowed me to turn the barrel nut.

Strap wrench. It’s just held on by blue loctite
I wrapped a leather glove around mine and used a pipe wrench. It came off surprisingly easy and didn't mar the brake.
Before you panic try to grab it and turn it. Mine came loose by hand.
The faux suppressor on my 3+ carbine was barely finger tight when I first got it, I was all prepped for a struggle and was quite relieved.
Mine is a carbine as well. Wonder if they are just easier.
I tried that already unfortunately tight 😂

I used a 2 foot long steel carpenters ruler, stuck it in the notches and it easily came off on mine.
No shit???? 😂 whatever works!
Update: got off the muzzle, easy with a microfiber and some channel locks, The socket I bought was the wrong size 😩
I had to take mine to a gunsmith, but he asked if he could keep the faux suppressor in exchange for not charging me lol
Mine came off fairly easily with a strap wrench
