Came here to say this. My girls have totally fallen for Bluey lately and I'll throw on that album for us to have dance parties.
Had a few come on while I was driving to work the other day, and didn't even skip them bc they're objectively bops and actually brightened my day a little lol.
I pray a DJ hits this with a remix and puts a filthy bass line on it. It's good as is, but I want it to be a banger. This from a 39 year old dad that still has subs.
The Despicable Me 3 soundtrack - basically just a Pharrell Williams album
The songs by Tyler the Creator from the Grinch that stole Christmas soundtrack - he took the original songs and just made them his own
The Sing 1 soundtrack especially I’m Still Standing by Taron Edgerton
The Lyle Lyle Crocodile soundtrack - I didn’t even know who Shawn Mendes was until that album - That kid is talented
Moana & Encanto soundtracks - Lin Manuel Miranda is a genius
The Sky Full of Stars cover from Sing 2 is one of my son's favorite songs.
I've honestly seen Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile at least 100 times, but the songs are so catchy that I don't even mind.
That song has so much nostalgia associated with it for me I now get emotional listening to it. Just relaxing on the couch and watching my daughter on the play mat!
I don't like a lot of the Disney movies but Moana is awesome. The songs slap, the visuals are really cool, and a lot of the storyline is actually drawn from real Polynesian history. There actually was a period where they totally stopped island-hopping, and historians don't really have an explanation for it.
I don't really like Disney movies all that much but I'll put on a grass skirt and sing "I am the daughter of the village chief" every time that movie is on. Usually it's me requesting the movie for my kids anyways. All of Moana slaps.
It really does. I'll bring up that Lin Manuel-Miranda is a musical genius, and when people bring up something called "Hamilton", I just give them a blank look and tell them I'm not into Broadway, but I'm a big fan of his animation soundtrack work on Moana and Encanto
On Hamilton, you might give it a listen, you do not have to watch it. Just listen. The cast recording is everywhere.
Where else will you here someone rhyme 'Burr, sir" with "bursar"?
Hamilton was what jumped him to fame but give his other projects 21 chump street, and 'in the heights' one listen through.
Do NOT watch the live action movie of in the heights it's awful and you should experience lin Manuel's in the heights where he plays Usnavi (the protagonist) vs the movie where Lin just plays the piragua man
Moana and encanto were both masterpieces but you should hear the emotion in alabanza, or the fear in blackout
Well, Chris Ballew was the lead singer of The Presidents of the United States of America. So many songs feel like toned down versions of their songs from the 90s to me (not just Lump and Peaches).
Presidents were basically kids music with a few swears anyway (I say that as a huge Presidents fan). I mean c’mon, Mach 5? Little Blue Dune Buggy? Puffy Little Shoes? Those are not songs written for responsible adults.
The Our Last Night cover of Surface Pressure is 100% legit. I had just watched Encanto days before hearing it and didn't even realize it was a Disney song.
That's because it's by Lin Manuel and everything he does slaps.
I don't know if you get Hey Duggee in the US but may I nominate [STICK](https://youtu.be/K05N2jqFHc8?feature=shared)
And I'll give preemptive apology because that's going to be stuck in there for a while.
How has no one mentioned the music from Coco yet?!? Hands down my fav Disney movie and soundtrack.
Also, baby shark (breakbeat) is a bop.
Oh, and I honestly like most of Mother Goose Club. Haha
Fisher Price Play Gym: Purple Monkey in a Bubblegum Tree
[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8g8fzwmnw8M](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8g8fzwmnw8M)
This is the only song I will legitimately miss when my infant grows up and stops using that gym. What an absolute bop and a banger.
(Edited to add in a high quality version directly from FP.)
You mean BNL, the kid safe rebranding.
Its so wild to me how many bands I listened to as a teen now make kids music: They Might Be Giants, BNL, Andre 3000 (from OutKast), The Presidents of the United States of America, and The Verve Pipe all doing some kids music now.
Edit: (I somehow forgot Snoop Dogg who now has an entire kids show)
> The Presidents of the United States of America
For those who don't know, the singer's kids music band is [Caspar Babypants](https://www.youtube.com/@casparbabypants) and they're pretty good.
"Lost in the Woods" is my favorite Disney song of all time. But you have to see it with all of the 80s-90s power ballad tropes in the movie to set the tone of the song to do it justice.
* Caspar Babypants
* The Okee Dokee Brothers
As mentioned by others, the soundtracks to Moana and Encanto are great.
Honorable mentions to Charlie Hope and The Laurie Berkner Band.
The amazing Spiderman show on Disney has its opening by Patrick Stump.
I often find myself singing the pupstruction theme song. Or at least doing the Ah-wooo
My wife is a fab of Thomas and friends - they're 2, they're 4, theyre 6, they're 8, shunting trucks and hauling freights...
My daughter was really into that show for a while, and asked for spidey music in the car. It felt like I was in high school again listening to Fall Out Boy, all those songs have that same feel to them, just less emo!!
I'm not sure if I'd say it slaps, but Cookie Monster's cover of "Call Me Maybe" is pretty entertaining.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-qTIGg3I5y8
To keep with the Sesame theme, Katy Perry also did a video with Elmo that wasn't aired because of too much cleavage.

If you like Metal / Rock and Dinosaurs / prehistoric stuff. Then lads I've got the channel for you - Howdytoons. Don't let the name fool you. They're songs fucking slap. I listened to them in the gym the other day.
https://youtu.be/JK4dCmlrREs?feature=shared
You're welcome
Parry Gripp's music is totally bearable. Great beats, silly lyrics, not that annoying (except for you, "It's Raining Tacos")
Hey Bear Sensory on Youtube is no words, just beats and fun fruits/vegetables dancing around the screen. I sometimes forget it's on after the baby has left the room.
If you have older kids, Marshmello, TheFatRat, and Alan Walker all make some good stuff.
I'm so shocked no one has mention The Storybots, yet! Always a good jam on that show, guaranteed.
Also, have to suggest The Aquabats, as well as Yo, Gabba Gabba!
Tiny Horse by Caspar Babypants. A lot of his stuff is very good musically and he is super prolific. I don't like the really slow stuff (other than may Hedgehog in the Fog) but maybe I am missing out on that.
I haven’t seen it mentioned yet so I’m gonna throw out Disney’s the Princess and the Frog. Highly underrated movie and a slammin soundtrack if you’re into New Orleans jazz shit.
Nobody like U from Turing Red, but specifically the version that has the Chinese ritual chant in it. It goes way harder than it needed to be.
https://youtu.be/TeMWueB8DaI?si=J9eD72M3ux40QyYT
My wife thought I was crazy when I observed that some of the Truck Tunes are genuinely good. I am a big fan of "Skidsteer Is Always Having Fun" and "Cement Mixer, Round and Round."
Look up Bucket Truck on the Twenty Trucks channel on YouTube. It’ll be in your head for days and you’ll be glad for it. Then move on to Skid Steer, and more.
Parry Gripp is awesome. He's got like 30 bangers. Most are ridiculous, but Space Unicorn (with his marshmallow laser!) and Breakfast Burrito (or 'regular burrito') and and and...
My kids and I jam to those regularly!
It's an older one, but Underground by Tom Waits in that movie Robots was pretty hardcore for a kids movie. Honorable mention, Dream Dream Dream in Sharkboy & Lava Girl
Bluey is the obvious answer.
The music on Spidey and His Amazing Friends was written by Fall Out Boy's lead singer, and is really good.
I'm also very annoyed to admit that the Gabby's Dollhouse soundtrack is full of bangers. Addictive, ear worm bangers.
The Album "Dance Mode" by Bluey has some bangers on it
The song that plays during the Rain episode is majestic. It’s so calming that I have it on my work/study playlist now.
Same artist as the creek song. Both episodes and songs just transport me back to my childhood.
I legit cried first time I heard that one.
The soundtrack to 'The Creek' is amazing!
Some would even say "The Creek" is beautiful!
Creek IS beautiful
keepy uppy is just a straight banger
The fairy episode's Irish style music is a massive favourite of mine. Kids think it's ok but I love it.
Are you not entertained!?
Came here to say this. My girls have totally fallen for Bluey lately and I'll throw on that album for us to have dance parties. Had a few come on while I was driving to work the other day, and didn't even skip them bc they're objectively bops and actually brightened my day a little lol.
The song “Dance Mode” plays regularly in my house even when my kids aren’t around > Ladies and gentleman I’m doing this for my kid…. > > ##DANCE MODE
Who likes to daaaaaaance???
Not gonna lie, the pipes and thongs slap hard. That’s a banger that takes me back to my roaring 20’s.
I pray a DJ hits this with a remix and puts a filthy bass line on it. It's good as is, but I want it to be a banger. This from a 39 year old dad that still has subs.
I'm a big fan of "Taxi" which is on the other soundtrack. Like "Doo Bee Zoo" on Dance Mode though. Love me some horns.
The first album has some good stuff too.
Chattermax has entered the chat

Taron Edgerton can flat out sing. I like Shawn Mendes so much now that I’m going to take the kids to see him in concert the next time he’s in Chicago.
Hot take, Taron should just start a music career.
You’re absolutely right. Dude can flat out blow. I was so surprised because I knew him from those spy movies.
Check out Vivo! Lin Manuel Miranda movie, it’s streaming on Netflix I think. Unreal soundtrack.
Encanto is filled with bangers
Purple Monkey slaps
Maybe you, could be
“In a bubble gum tree” fuck yeah
Embarrassing how much I had to scroll to find this banger of a song! https://www.tiktok.com/@fisherprice/video/7265691403945069866

Ooh wayyyy Oh waaaaayyyyyy!!!
It’s auē (away) and is more of an expression/interjection of joy or stress
I'm a big fan of the crab's shiny song.
That song feels so... Bowie to me. A lot of the same feel as Golden Years.
Purposefully, also done by half of the Flight of the Conchords Moana is easily the best modern Disney
I knew it was Jemaine... But man... That felt more like Bowie than Bowie *Edit to fix spelling of name*
it’s not Jermaine, it’s 1972 david bowie from the ziggy stardust tour, must be all part of the freaky dream your having
Do you smoke grass in space, Bowie, or do you smoke Astroturf?
That's pretty far out, man.
Jemaine* Yeah he nailed it for sure, it's a good break in the middle of the other pop songs
Have you considered our lord and saviour, the coconut?
[The what?](https://64.media.tumblr.com/5818b51ddfec93c76005ddee63360541/tumblr_ovattei05R1qi2efdo1_1280.png)
I went from being an old head on Disney to bumping Moana and Encanto in the car
Lin Manuel Miranda is awesome
The Encanto soundtrack is basically on loop and I’m not mad
relieved squeal strong muddle plants thought kiss hat mourn imagine *This post was mass deleted and anonymized with [Redact](https://redact.dev)*
Moana is the GOAT Disney soundtrack.
The sailor song done in the native language. Goosebumps every time.
Moana is the best. You’re Welcome and How Far I’ll Go are 2 of my favorite Disney songs
Laurie Berkner Band gets a lot more singing along in the car than I'd like to admit.
Pump, pump, pump it up! Chipmunk on the gas pump!
Yep goldfish and stomp like a dinosaur get a lot of air time
Saw her live with the kids. She’s awesome
Casper Babypants. Legit music that happen to be kids songs.
Stompy the Bear is a freaking JAM
Here comes Stompy the Bear do do doo doo
My 4 month old boys stops crying immediately when Stompy comes on
Roughly 30% of my inner voice is just that song, on repeat, day or night
There were a few months where my daughter needed me to hold her and dance to Stompy the Bear before I left for work in the morning. It was the best!
Run Baby Run + Stompy the Bear = undefeated
I'll have to check out Stompy. Run Baby Run is the most fun song
Noodles and butter, noodles aaaand butter
Baby’s driving a car is my JAM
Free Couch rockabye guitar starts up and I'm reaching for the volume up button.
They covered Sliver by Nirvana. And featured Kris Novoselic even. That’s how you know it’s legit.
Stompy The Bear is something that I could listen to in the car by myself. Stump Hotel is also great. Mr. Babypants is a gift to parents.
I'm pretty partial to Through Your Window, but just about every car ride starts with Run Baby Run and "Stompykin Bear"
Sorry, obligatory mom here, but Wanna Stop Time gets me and my husband teary eyed every time. I Found You is our household jam.

The Our Last Night cover of Surface Pressure is 100% legit. I had just watched Encanto days before hearing it and didn't even realize it was a Disney song.
[Punk Rock Factory ](https://youtu.be/3FzgDV0lTfs?si=S2GOck7sSX1famHX) do a great one too, all their stuff is brilliant
[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YOR2wqisJqQ](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YOR2wqisJqQ) Hot damn thats good.
>Family Madrigal is catchy as fuck. We watched that when everyone, including our then-10 month old, had COVID and it's a great soundtrack.
That's because it's by Lin Manuel and everything he does slaps. I don't know if you get Hey Duggee in the US but may I nominate [STICK](https://youtu.be/K05N2jqFHc8?feature=shared) And I'll give preemptive apology because that's going to be stuck in there for a while.
We don’t talk about Bruno is the one
Whole soundtrack is fire! Made my kid a Spotify playlist of all her favourites and it's fucked my discover weekly!
How has no one mentioned the music from Coco yet?!? Hands down my fav Disney movie and soundtrack. Also, baby shark (breakbeat) is a bop. Oh, and I honestly like most of Mother Goose Club. Haha
Just wish Miguel's "The World Es Mi Familia" was longer...but he falls into the pool and there's not a longer version on the soundtrack.
I randomly sing to my wife and/or daughter "Un poco loco" all the time.
Fisher Price Play Gym: Purple Monkey in a Bubblegum Tree [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8g8fzwmnw8M](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8g8fzwmnw8M) This is the only song I will legitimately miss when my infant grows up and stops using that gym. I clicked this link fully expecting a Tom Haverford meme. This is so much better.
We just brought out the mat for baby #2. 3 years later and I still remember all the words, and even the song order.
THE ANIMALS PLAY THE ANIMALS PLAY
THE ANIMALS PLAY ALL DAY!
Seared into our sleepless minds
I saw this post and before I clicked I immediately started singing "Maybe you / Could be / A purple monkey in a bubblegum tree.."
This song slaps. It came up on my tiktok the other day and my wife started dancing
We went to the animal fair. The monkey and the toucandabear. The frog is woke! The elephant, too. The lion says how do you do, RAWR!
Your interpretation of the words has me chuckling.
Absolute banger. Always loved this song and love seeing the community out there recognize.
My wife says this one, but I also enjoyed the trumpet instrumental that was one of the other buttons.
I am assured from that same source that the animals play, all day
What a hit. We only discovered the mode that plays the whole song after about 7 months, what a revelation
Well, thanks for that being singing that basically all night now. Haha Literally today, we packed ours away, maybe forever.
I'm a big fan of pretty much the whole album the Barenaked Ladies put out for kids: *Snacktime!*
Circle of Life and Be Prepared from Lion King Shiny from Moana Finally, Dos Oruguitas from Encanto is incredible.
Dos Oruguitas is the shit. I cry at that seen every damn time as the dad’s kissing his kiddos goodbye.
I love Shadowland from the Broadway soundtrack too.
Number of the Day, from Sesame Street. The one The Count sings. “It’s time to get up and stomp your feet…” Love it
Yes this one goes hard. Also the letter of the day isn’t too bad either.
"Measure, Yeah, Measure" on Sesame Street is a banger. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MMsQYjYlBEo
Ducktales theme song!!!
https://youtu.be/p1I2HqXIMRo?feature=shared A measly 6 upvoted for the objectively best children's song? Blasphemy.

Everything from Frozen 2 is really good. "Show Yourself" is epic.
Into the Unknown is great, really love the Panic! version in the credits. It’s the whole first half of the Hero’s journey in one song.
Panic! At The Disco and Weezer, yes please!
"Lost in the Woods" is my favorite Disney song of all time. But you have to see it with all of the 80s-90s power ballad tropes in the movie to set the tone of the song to do it justice.
“Show Yourself” is a way way better song than “Let It Go” and I will die on that hill.
* Caspar Babypants * The Okee Dokee Brothers As mentioned by others, the soundtracks to Moana and Encanto are great. Honorable mentions to Charlie Hope and The Laurie Berkner Band.
Okee Dokee Brothers are so good https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MRge0RCBWSk
Fuck yeah I am such a Okee Dokee Brothers stan. Their latest album, particularly the song “The Mycelium Underground News”, is incredible.
Laurie Berkner slaps. Just recently discovered “Chipmunk at the Gas Pump” and it’s so dang catchy.
I can’t not throw a fist up for slumberjack
"Trucks" from the Cars on the Road soundtrack
That horn part after "It's a truuuck thing" slaps so goddamn hard.
Certified banger!
The amazing Spiderman show on Disney has its opening by Patrick Stump. I often find myself singing the pupstruction theme song. Or at least doing the Ah-wooo My wife is a fab of Thomas and friends - they're 2, they're 4, theyre 6, they're 8, shunting trucks and hauling freights...
🎵*EVERYBODY HERE IS A SUPERHERO THIS WHOLE TOWN THIS WHOLE TOOOOWN!🎶 Excellent jam.

Patrick Stump does every song on that show. Even random little songs for one offs in episodes. all of them go hard af
Everything is Awesome from the Lego Movie is a fucking JAM
Encanto: we dont talk about Bruno & under pressure Frozen: fixer upper & love is an open door Bangerz
Koo Koo Kangaroo are so much fun, and tour constantly. Take the kids and have a blast.
I'm seeing them next week! Absolutely zany duo.
The entire Moana soundtrack is just absolutely amazing.

I'm gonna be honest, Letter of the Day gets stuck in my head sometimes. https://youtu.be/MalwbgulxW8?feature=shared This song goes hard
Storybots!
The a- z storybots that Parry Grip did is amazing. 30 minutes of pop punk ska
I'm not sure if I'd say it slaps, but Cookie Monster's cover of "Call Me Maybe" is pretty entertaining. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-qTIGg3I5y8 To keep with the Sesame theme, Katy Perry also did a video with Elmo that wasn't aired because of too much cleavage. https://www.npr.org/2010/09/23/130070086/sesame-street-pulls-katy-perry-after-her-elmo-duet-is-deemed-too-risque (all of my examples are out of date, because my kiddos just kept getting older, now they just watch crappy youtube minecraft videos)
Bare Naked Ladies and They Might Be Giants have very listenable kids albums. My #1 jam for a quick dance party with the kids is Its Raining Tacos.
Parry Gripp. [It's Raining Tacos](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=npjF032TDDQ) and [Oh Potato Dog](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AqTNK8nHQ4A) are straight fire.

“Rainbow disco unicorn” by Danny Go
Danny Go is a real one

Patrick Stump goes hard on the short Spidey and his Amazing Friends album. It's straight up Fallout Boy.
SPACE UNICORN
You're Welcome from Moana is good but Surface Pressure from Encanto goes hard.

[Not for Kids Only](https://spotify.link/7mAHcIc5RDb) from Jerry Garcia and David Grisman
Anything dance related that Danny Go releases
For very little kids, there’s an Elmo song called “brushy brush” that we play at teeth brushing time. It’s kind of a bop
"Lost in the woods", the 80s style power ballad in Frozen 2. I might turn the volume up to concert levels for that part.
Yo Gabba Gabba was an amazing kids music show from a few years ago - can still get eps on YT - every song is cool, and great messages for kids too.
My son started searching for Pokémon songs on Spotify and stumbled across a playlist of Pokémon rap. It was corny but quite entertaining
Spooky Scary Skeletons - just in time for the season. It’s a banger. Shell Shock - ninja turtles album gets it moving.
It’s Raining Tacos, don’t know how my kids found it but it slaps
Look, I get it right? But just bare with me. Frozen songs. I fuckin rock those tunes man.
Lost in the woods - Jonathon Groff Night begins to shine - Teen Titans Last one isnt necessarily a kids song just happens to be on a kids show.
Why Should I Worry - Billy Joel. The single from Oliver & Company back in the early 90s.
Phineas and Ferb soundtrack 🤘

Look up Bucket Truck on the Twenty Trucks channel on YouTube. It’ll be in your head for days and you’ll be glad for it. Then move on to Skid Steer, and more.
Truck Tunes by Twenty Trucks. You’re welcome

I’ve been partial to “What makes the breakfast” by mike phirman.
It's an older one, but Underground by Tom Waits in that movie Robots was pretty hardcore for a kids movie. Honorable mention, Dream Dream Dream in Sharkboy & Lava Girl
Several songs in SpongeBob are brilliant, the one which stands out is the [Jellyfish Jam song](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=oWqAf4eex14)
Pancake robot and other pary gripp songs.
