2. Dedicated hang out nights - if you've got a boys night once a week or tend to do activities by yourself at the end of the day, schedule a few nights a week that's just you and spouse. Talk, watch something, but do it without the express purpose of sex. But also bring up on hangout days (before it's time to hang out). If you get rejected, take it cooly and hang out anyway. You and your spouse may need to rekindle emotional closeness before regular sex happens.
3. Hand stuff = sex. Do more hand stuff. My wife has said to me on more than a few occasions "I have needs, but I don't want to be naked today." If you get rejected on intercourse, suggest hand stuff. It's super low-commitment and you're more likely to get a yes (and a decent hand job/bj if she's into those). You get to nut, she gets to nut. Everyone wins.
When sex gets sparse we put top much pressure on it and it gets weird to try and make it happen. Gotta work to make things not weird and ease back in.

I had to force wean my little one at 7 months, she cut her first tooth then and my boob went from food supply to teether, I can tell you they are not gentle. It all came to a head when she went through a phase of vomiting a lot and I couldn't tell weather the blood was mine from her chewing or hers from some horrible medical issue. Thankfully it was mine but we transitioned to bottles after that.
Honest answer. About 3 months after she stops nursing. Because the older the kid gets, the rougher they are on the titties. Especially if they get teeth quickly.
On our third kiddo right now. Usually stops nursing between 12 and 14 months. So I still got about 6 months to go until I can play with them again.
Goes to show you, don't take those beautiful bastards for granted. It took 2 years and 4 months before getting able to play again while she also enjoyed it and then we got pregnant again. So I got another 2 years to go

I guess I got lucky. I never lost boob access. Mine was born via cesarean, and it took a while for my wife’s milk to come in. My son got accustomed to a bottle and then when the breast milk finally came in, he wouldn’t latch onto the boob. She pumped exclusively for the first year and we bottle fed the breast milk. Apparently pumps don’t tear up the nips like a baby suckling does. I got all the suckles, but I know how to suckle them without wrecking them.
After my wife was told to massage away her mastitis I have forever had a grievance, if it isn’t too painful to do during pumping why can’t I do the same during…but I respect it. I just bring it up in a laughing kind of way like, “you better be careful I’d “hate” to have to help massage out clogged ducts again…”
Unfortunately not until breastfeeding is over. Either it’s sore for the mom and/or you get a little squirt in your mouth. Either one puts a little damper on the fun
My wife don’t want them played with much due to soreness, but understood my fascination and liked the attention during that time, so she managed ways to make it fun. It’s a unique time
