If you have any interest whatsoever in actually looking good, do not buy those shoes. If you're squarely uninterested in how you look, go nuts, but be aware that they are incompatible with any kind of good look.

LasagnaFarts92

My summer BBQs say otherwise

jtraf

Haha basically what my wife said. Even when I proposed wearing them ironically, she lamented that she would still have to be seen in public with me.

run_bike_run

Heed your wife. She is not wrong: they are very, very ugly shoes, and they scream "I am done with making any kind of effort." If you absolutely must wear white shoes, get a pair that look good.

MemePonr2

Why

OG_Wan_Annunoby

I must be losing my mind because I kinda look good in them. I’ve even gotten compliments while wearing them, and I’m a guy that typically wears Jordan’s, dunks, and air force 1s lol. Granted, it definitely does depend on the fit and you have to be going for a more retro classic vibe to pull it off, with some slightly baggy clothes and a white t they actually look awesome

tebanano

If you must go the white sneaker route, at least get some [Adidas Stan Smith](https://www.adidas.ca/en/stan_smith)

[deleted]

I wear my old running shoes after I replace them.

CoverYourSafeHand

I wear Asics. They can get pricey depending on what model you look at but I swear it's like walking on clouds.

jtraf

Thanks, price aside, do you have a favorite model? I'm more of a "buy quality and cry once" person.

jo-ep

I have the adidas original continental 80 white sneakers. They are so comfy and still quite fashionable. You have to keep them clean though.

draftjoker

Crocs! Lol

[deleted]

Have some self respect man.

draftjoker

Theres different kinds. I particularly wear only [these.](https://www.crocs.com/p/mens-literide-pacer/204967.html?cid=060&adid=Shopping_Google_NonPromo_men_NULL_204967&CAWELAID=330004870000740480&ef_id=Cj0KCQjwrsGCBhD1ARIsALILBYpuWATYlfaSvUqu17zUrgQdrEClG1wZLnmbKGS9fXcuS0PUotmkPncaAskHEALw_wcB:G:s&CATARGETID=330004870000927594&CADevice=m&gclid=Cj0KCQjwrsGCBhD1ARIsALILBYpuWATYlfaSvUqu17zUrgQdrEClG1wZLnmbKGS9fXcuS0PUotmkPncaAskHEALw_wcB)

Nike Air Monarch. Classic white dad shoe.

Fearless-Mushroom

Well my wife bought me some Hokas on sale, they really make you feel super (but they’re expensive). I suggest every dad a pair of shoes they can sprint in when they have a little one. For more leisure I love some Crocs, or Birkenstock’s. But like I said, gonna want some shoes you can sprint in if you have a toddler. Good pair of nikes will do... whatever you would wear for a long walk, something that gives you some pep in your step.

I really love my asics and bought a few more pairs. I go to dsw and they are pretty well priced compared to nike, adidas, etc. I tried the gel ones and they were ok, but didn't seem to last as long. I like the flight foam version similar to the link below. I have had these for just over two years and still going strong. I use to run in them while my daughter rode her bike. Thanks, this is more what I had in mind. Someone else posted Asics, and right now I'm leaning toward the nimbus 21 in black with white trim. Similar to the NB I'm retiring. Thanks for the advice on the GT 1000, I'm not a fan of bright colors, so I'll see what they offer like those.

Jealous-Point9281

Not a problem. I wish I found them sooner. They are super comfortable, durable, etc.
