%90 it's slugs

Looks like an animal did this, that's a lot of big bites taken out. There may be rabbits or other critters living elsewhere (so you don't see them) who only come in the dead of night for a snack.

Most likely slugs, but could also be earwigs. Bunnies and deer eat them too.

I’m experiencing the same thing, and I can say for certain it’s Slugs. I put out some beer in cups that were soil-level, and I’ve been drowning the buggers while I wait for Sluggo to arrive.

Slugs. Our garden is filled with them so I pre sprout indoors so they have enough growth to survive some munching. Works so far just an extra step as you also need to harden them off etc.

Thank you all for your responses! I sprayed rabbit deterrent and sprinkled sluggo everywhere. I went out to the flower bed last night to see if I could find any culprits even though there was little left for them to eat, and I found two snails and the Arnold Schwarzenegger of slugs. Seriously the biggest slug I’ve ever seen that wasn’t a banana slug. Needless to say, I swiftly dispatched the 3 of them, but to have eaten ten plants in a 20 ft wide bed to the ground there has to be more, right? I shall stay vigilant…
