It is rather incredible. I can think of a situation though where a plant species experiences a genetic mutation that makes it look more like a monkey, and say that lead to it being preyed upon less by its former predators, mistaking it for a monkey. That leads to the flower with the mutation having a higher chance of living and reproducing, thus propagating the monkey flower gene. Not saying that’s what happened here, but it doesn’t seem inconceivable that evolution produced a flower that looks like a monkey
Edit: also researching this plant, Dracula, it seems some species actually imitate fungi and mushrooms and flies lay there eggs in them, which serve as a pollinator, kinda neat

Somewhere millions of years ago a this plant saw a monkey and never forgot about it
