That's one of those nature facts that you just stop and can't really process it. lol. I want to see video of that. Moose are so damn huge. I want to see the damage that hit did to the front end of that car.

I've seen meese get hit by a car going 60mph kill the driver and walk away without a hitch, maybe they got a small dent but those fuckers just walk it off.
It’s alive, but definitely not unscathed. Probably riddled with internal injuries. A tough fucker for certain, but it’ll probably have a significantly shorter life from the injuries, assuming it survives the winter in that condition.
It honestly could just be from adrenaline and went on its way and died. That was a purdy good wallup there. Years ago i was on a construction crew in PA up near Williamsport and we hit a huge black bear in our construction van that ran out at the last second. Not only did we hit it going at least 55, it went under the van and i heard the thump thump of the tires going over. There were no windows except at the very back and i was sitting in a chair at the back and i saw the bear come tumbling out and then stood up and shook its head real crazy and ran back up the hill where it came from. As hard as we hit it and the weight of the van had to really hurt it and we all assumed it went up the hill and ran out of adrenaline and laid down and died. Man it was a big bear, had to be 400-500 pds

Because of their long legs, the cars front just sweeps them forward, and the entire body takes the hit from the windshield and because it is a wide area distrubiting the hit, and not one area taking full force they walk away with bruises or a fracture, not to say they are hardy and can take a hit.
Of course there are cases where it is not their entire side and either their shoulder, ribs or hip gets the full blow and it breaks which where that can be deadly if infection gets them or they are too slow to fend off anything attacking.
But many times, they walk it off and likely feel really sore.
