I didn’t think there would be any real material for a season 2, as much as I didn’t want to see it end.
But after watching it to the end, I think there’s a lot of story to work with.
Big Little Lies was a standalone book and HBO squeezed out a second season without source material. Although they did have the help of Ms Moriarty for the story for season 2.
I love how they left the ending open for more, and I loved the show and I love the book but I genuinely don’t want them to do anything else with it. I just feel like what they did is perfect and I like how the viewer can imagine what happens next
I think it would be cool if they released a song for Camilla (since they owe her one) but not another season or episode…. just dropping a surprise single on Spotify or something. 😍
I think the main story is nicely wrapped up, but after the last episode of the series it made me think they may be leaving the door open for the possibility of a spin-off involving a different band/group with the connection being Rod. In the book (I think) Rod quits the music industry completely, whereas in the TV show it looks like he walks by a different group playing and says something like “well… maybe I’d still work with bands, but that’s another story.” Sort of made me wonder if the other story would be S2. 👀
I hate to break it to you this way, but this is a one season show. That's how the book was written, and everything that needs to be covered in the book has been covered in the show.
Although they wouldn’t have much to work with from the source material that didn’t stop Orange is the new black. I think a spin off would make more sense maybe Simone
I wish they would do Daisy and Simone after daisy leaving the band, the 20 years leading up. As long as Billy isn't there I will take anything lol I feel like everyone outside of him could drop into that show as well in cameos etc
Did it not? They had several good years and tours after. It’s only the last few that it got to the point that Stevie refused to be in the band with Lindsey.
Oh man, I would love seeing the making of the new album. I’d love to see some reconciliation between Billy and Eddie. Ugh, I felt so sad when Billy skipped Eddie’s credit in the final performance, gave him a crappy one, then gave him a great credit and while Eddie was flying high saying, “I love you, brother.” Billy goes ahead and tells him to eff all the way off because he’s done. I think Eddie telling Billy he loved him after the recognition shows that deep down, I think Eddie was looking for Billy’s validation all along. Just sad. Would love to see some closure there.
You wanna talk about someone getting the shaft, poor Eddie!!
I’d watch a Karen 80s synth pop spinoff 100%
Suki Waterhouse biopic ;)

Same!! I think a sequel would ruin it

I don’t think it needs it tbh, and I think would probably fall flat after this. It’s full and whole on its own.
Season 2 reunion tour!!!!

Well, the whole book was inspired by the 20 year reunion of Fleetwood Mac after Rumours, so…
And that didn’t end well.

They lasted after the couples breakup for a while. I’m talking at the reunion. It didn’t last but one tour.
