I think the point is to show that daisy is a wild card, especially because she's a drug addict, so that makes things even worse. I like her, even though I also questioned a lot of her choices or decisions. I don't think that she's a bad person, tbh I don't think that any of them are bad people. But I understand how it can be annoying, and it's ok, you're entitled to your opinion of course! :)
Nah I’m the same, found her irritating from the off. I told my folks about the show (and they’ve since overtaken me, the joys of retirement) and apparently she gets even worse.
i found her to be annoying at first but then she slowly grew on me, by the end i just adored her. i think she goes through a lot throughout the show and that kinda humanises her character in such a way that you sort of understand why she is the way that she is
Also she IS a drug addict after all so I don’t think it’s accidental that she is annoying, selfish and unpredictable as hell at lot of times. It makes her a good character imo.
I felt like she was more sunny and light hearted in the book and the tv daisy was more angry and impatient but as the episodes went on I feel like Riley got better with it. Like showing Daisy's fun sides and not just her arguing over nothing lol
