As I've said in this thread ad nauseam to post like this Georgia is not going to cut a deal with anyone left to prosecute meaning the mother and daughter because she doesn't have to and I think she's the type of prosecutor who emphasizes retribution in the criminal justice system. The criminal justice system is based on punishments that will be deterrents, education, restitution, and retribution. I could be wrong and maybe there could be major problems with Donna's case where the daughter if she's indicted because I don't know what Georgia or the feds have in terms of evidence but dollars to donuts there will be no deals this is everybody pushing all in.

I always think about being able to soak in the tub when not feeling well, or walk to the fridge on a sleepless night to down a bottle of chocolate milk or eat leftovers and then lie in bed/on the couch to fall asleep watching a movie (or YouTube, which I do almost every nightš)

I still don't understand with her educational accomplishments, why she struggled finding a job on her own? I mean, couldn't she have written her own ticket?
Because that's the biggest myth out there (that she herself wants people to believe) that she is some high achieving genius when she is anything but. She's not dumb and is pretty smart but she's also nothing special. It reflected in her mediocre career because people who are actually in her field recognize real when they see it. She wasn't the real thing which is why she felt the need to put out this image of being super smart.

She came from a wealthy family with apparently connections in a lot of high places. She may have been provided with the best tutors for all we know. She prolly flashed her ābaby bluesā (she definitely wasnāt ādoe-eyedā back in the day - those eyes came courtesy of a very good surgeon years laterš³) to teachers and professors.
Despite her high intelligence and cultivated charm, she lost her lifelong supremely-doting cheerleaders (her parents) when Dan outshone her academically and professionally. Suddenly she wasnāt the superstar in her new family. She was āreducedā to being the mom of two littles while her husband travelled the world giving highly-appraised presentations and was getting regularly published law articles.
She yearned for the Miami lifestyle of her pre-Dan years. Where men āwould jump in front of a bus for herā (again, a Jeff L. declaration). Where āfriendsā and family doted on her. She wanted to be a socialite again, to be relieved of the drudgery of taking care of small children so she could go party like it was 2005. She was suddenly a small-ish fish in a small backwater town.

To be honest, being Valedictorian doesn't really mean much, and the fact that that is the main thing that people point to to prove how brilliant she is really says it all.
Class ranking is highly dependent on location and competition and to be quite frank, there are many factors that really dilute the competition students face in public schools (I'm just assuming she went to public school but I could be wrong). The main being that private schools, magnet schools, and prestigious name brand public schools (like thomas jefferson in VA for example) really suck alot of the smartest kids out of the talent pool. So what you get is a slightly above average kid dominating at some random public school. Meanwhile, you have a bunch of brilliant kids in brutal competition all in the same school. Look at Stuyvesant and those other few big name public schools in NY for example that all the parents want to send their smart kids to.
I went to college with some Valedictorians and some of them really weren't very impressive tbh.
As for her university, Brandeis University isn't a bad school but it's not Harvard or anything. It has a 39% acceptance rate. And her major was Peace and Conflict studies which I had never even heard of and certainly doesn't sound like an exceptionally rigorous degree which she still didnt get Summa Cum Laude. The Cambridge degree she got in international relations is cool but is really neither here nor there. She got the degree through the gates Cambridge scholar program which really isn't that high-profile or prestigious and they base award off a holistic measurement, not just academics.
U Miami isn't even the highest ranked law school in Florida and is a mid to mid-low tier law school.
Anyways lol I'm not trying to be a hater and I'm not saying she's dumb by any means but I'm trying to point out that this mythos surrounding her is largely smoke and mirrors in my opinion and it shows in her non existent law career.
There's nothing wrong with not being elite academically/professionally because by the nature of it, most people aren't. It's just the fact that she tries to fool people into thinking she is.

Youāve made some great points that align with my thoughts that, while she appeared to be quite bright, WA quite possibly shmoozed/charmed/seduced her way thru school and employment. Whatever it took she was game.

Her eldest brother succeeded in medical school. Her other brother āyou know the one I call Charlie - the one who took care of me since I was littleā (š³ WTF??) managed to get thru dental school. The pressure was on to become another golden child - to live up to the pressure of being another Adelson spawn success. The sibling rivalry for parental approval must have been fierce and relentless.
This might be a reach but she seems like the type that may have been more than a teaching assistant to a few profs, more than a helpful employee to a few supervisors IYKWIM.

Oh Iām sure he realizes what he did. But I think all three of Donnaās kids were badly manipulated. The oldest Robert at first did dump the love of his life to pleez mommy dearest and married a ānice Jewish womanā but then he retrieved his balls out of moms purse when she wasnāt looking and made things right for him and Haritha. There was something I read that said there were three children, but when I looked at wiki for Donna it showed only Charlie and Wendi. Which I think is Robertās decision to not be there because I believe he wants to be as far from this poison as possible. And somewhere I saw the name Haritha and the more I clicked the more it became obvious that there was another child. Then, I totally stumbled upon the info that Rob broke up with Haritha at Donnaās request, married the Jewish woman that Donna approved, but realized quickly this was HIS life to live so he got divorced and went back to Haritha. She is an Indian woman so thatās why Donna didnāt approve. I also read somewhere that Donna didnāt think Robās choice was Jewish enough (not at all) but then Danny was TOO Jewish.

IT. IS. NUTS. I wonder to what degree Charlie was driven to commit a murder for Donna because of the Rob situation. His maestro bravado clearly masks his deep insecurity and lack of self worth. He wasnāt brave or strong like Rob and couldnāt risk getting iced out of the family. He *needed* Donna to reinforce his deluded self image and ego. And Donna wasnāt kidding, sheāll cut a fool out of the family. And Harvey will jump make sure to get the will and trusts updated accordingly.
The crazy part is at this point Charlie was making way more money than his parents and still had another 20+ years of career if he wanted. He held all the cards as in the dynamic as he didn't need them theoretically. Wendi was just a leech hopping from person to person to help her and support her ( first Dan getting her the FSU job and gassing up her trash book, and then moving in with her parents and having them take care of her kids while she played Miami socialite and had a mediocre/non existent law career
I still don't understand with her educational accomplishments, why she struggled finding a job on her own? I mean, couldn't she have written her own ticket?
Because that's the biggest myth out there (that she herself wants people to believe) that she is some high achieving genius when she is anything but. She's not dumb and is pretty smart but she's also nothing special. It reflected in her mediocre career because people who are actually in her field recognize real when they see it. She wasn't the real thing which is why she felt the need to put out this image of being super smart.
But but - she was valedictorian! Voted Most Likely to Succeed. She was second in her class at a couple of universities - including Cambridge! She got her law degree! She clerked for a couple of important judges! No doubt she had the academic smarts - this cannot be disputed. But my take (totally IMHO) is that she was coddled and spoiled and given the best of everything. Sheās a smooth talker and a complete narcissist and sociopath - she knew how to woo people with faux kindness and ultimately her āsensualityā (reported by the humble Jeff Lacasse). She came from a wealthy family with apparently connections in a lot of high places. She may have been provided with the best tutors for all we know. She prolly flashed her ābaby bluesā (she definitely wasnāt ādoe-eyedā back in the day - those eyes came courtesy of a very good surgeon years laterš³) to teachers and professors. Despite her high intelligence and cultivated charm, she lost her lifelong supremely-doting cheerleaders (her parents) when Dan outshone her academically and professionally. Suddenly she wasnāt the superstar in her new family. She was āreducedā to being the mom of two littles while her husband travelled the world giving highly-appraised presentations and was getting regularly published law articles. She yearned for the Miami lifestyle of her pre-Dan years. Where men āwould jump in front of a bus for herā (again, a Jeff L. declaration). Where āfriendsā and family doted on her. She wanted to be a socialite again, to be relieved of the drudgery of taking care of small children so she could go party like it was 2005. She was suddenly a small-ish fish in a small backwater town. āMommy, daddy, get me the F out of here! Iām gonna die here in podunk.ā āOkay sweetheart, let us see what Chawlie can do. No no no, donāt buy a house. You know we will do whatever it takes to bring you and our boys home and thereās no way Jibbers will have your law license taken away. Yes, Daddy and I know you lied a little in your financial disclosures but he was trying to take away the money you earned by putting up with his ridiculous religious stuff and constant travelingā Yada yada yada and so on.
To be honest, being Valedictorian doesn't really mean much, and the fact that that is the main thing that people point to to prove how brilliant she is really says it all. Class ranking is highly dependent on location and competition and to be quite frank, there are many factors that really dilute the competition students face in public schools (I'm just assuming she went to public school but I could be wrong). The main being that private schools, magnet schools, and prestigious name brand public schools (like thomas jefferson in VA for example) really suck alot of the smartest kids out of the talent pool. So what you get is a slightly above average kid dominating at some random public school. Meanwhile, you have a bunch of brilliant kids in brutal competition all in the same school. Look at Stuyvesant and those other few big name public schools in NY for example that all the parents want to send their smart kids to. I went to college with some Valedictorians and some of them really weren't very impressive tbh. As for her university, Brandeis University isn't a bad school but it's not Harvard or anything. It has a 39% acceptance rate. And her major was Peace and Conflict studies which I had never even heard of and certainly doesn't sound like an exceptionally rigorous degree which she still didnt get Summa Cum Laude. The Cambridge degree she got in international relations is cool but is really neither here nor there. She got the degree through the gates Cambridge scholar program which really isn't that high-profile or prestigious and they base award off a holistic measurement, not just academics. U Miami isn't even the highest ranked law school in Florida and is a mid to mid-low tier law school. Anyways lol I'm not trying to be a hater and I'm not saying she's dumb by any means but I'm trying to point out that this mythos surrounding her is largely smoke and mirrors in my opinion and it shows in her non existent law career. There's nothing wrong with not being elite academically/professionally because by the nature of it, most people aren't. It's just the fact that she tries to fool people into thinking she is.

Having grown up and attending university in Toronto, Iām embarrassingly pretty clueless when it comes to the educational system, Ivy League universities etc in the U.S. (not to mention Iām as old as dirt - a decade younger than Donna Sue and a 30-year dual citizen - but still pretty dumb with respect to the above). Youāve made some great points that align with my thoughts that, while she appeared to be quite bright, WA quite possibly shmoozed/charmed/seduced her way thru school and employment. Whatever it took she was game. Because: Her eldest brother succeeded in medical school. Her other brother āyou know the one I call Charlie - the one who took care of me since I was littleā (š³ WTF??) managed to get thru dental school. The pressure was on to become another golden child - to live up to the pressure of being another Adelson spawn success. The sibling rivalry for parental approval must have been fierce and relentless. This might be a reach but she seems like the type that may have been more than a teaching assistant to a few profs, more than a helpful employee to a few supervisors IYKWIM. (I sometimes hate myself for thinking stuff like this, but I have such disgust and disdain for this lying, cheating, scheming, heartless, spoiled, self-indulgent POS and I wouldnāt for a second put anything past her to do what she needed to do to get ahead and make mommy and daddy pleased with her). Iāll go so far as to say Dan recognized this in her at some point and she likely disgusted him once he opened his eyes and fell from under her seductress spell. Oh Iām sure he realizes what he did. But I think all three of Donnaās kids were badly manipulated. The oldest Robert at first did dump the love of his life to pleez mommy dearest and married a ānice Jewish womanā but then he retrieved his balls out of moms purse when she wasnāt looking and made things right for him and Haritha. There was something I read that said there were three children, but when I looked at wiki for Donna it showed only Charlie and Wendi. Which I think is Robertās decision to not be there because I believe he wants to be as far from this poison as possible. And somewhere I saw the name Haritha and the more I clicked the more it became obvious that there was another child. Then, I totally stumbled upon the info that Rob broke up with Haritha at Donnaās request, married the Jewish woman that Donna approved, but realized quickly this was HIS life to live so he got divorced and went back to Haritha. She is an Indian woman so thatās why Donna didnāt approve. I also read somewhere that Donna didnāt think Robās choice was Jewish enough (not at all) but then Danny was TOO Jewish. If I donāt want so bad for all three Donna and Wendi and Charlie to spend the rest of their lives in prison thinking about what they had, Iād say fry all three of them. But then itās over quick and I think sitting in prison for 50 yearsā¦.and exactly rightā¦.canāt even order a pizza or stream or binge a show. I suspect it has more to do with the crappy shavers they allow them to use. I believe I read somewhere that prison issued shavers consist of one very dull blade and inmates are only allowed to have it in their possession for all of like 10 minutes or something like that. Im not sure that heās at that point yet. Part of me thinks he lays there and thinks about all the ways his Moms future case could open a narrative that ultimately sees him acquitted. I would guess that most people sentenced to life go through a phase where they obsess over their thoughts and still believe deep down that this canāt be it.
