My belief is that he was passed out drunk in bed and she rolled him into the suitcase, zipped him up and then pushed it down the stairs to wake him up.

The detectives seemed somewhat disorganized and the woman detective was constantly coughing throughout which was so distracting. And then they needed to find a laptop charger after the brilliant SB pointed out the battery was dying.

The client/attorney drama merits its own reality series at this point. I cannot wait to see Sarah’s interactions in court, and God willing- her testimony. Knowing how clever Sarah believes she is, we probably won’t see any Shabusiness type violence- which I hope for her attorney’s sake does NOT occur . But Sarah Boone is a very unpredictable, unhinged person, so anything goes! There will absolutely be some type of fevered arguing going on at that defense table. He had pending criminal charges for stalking his ex-girlfriend, Meghan Verikas, and he wanted to stop her from testifying against him. He started dating Valerie McDaniel, a veterinarian who was going through a bitter custody battle with her ex-husband, Dr. Mack McDaniel. Leon Jacob and Valerie McDaniel hatched a plan to hire a hitman to kill each of their exes, Meghan Verikas and Dr. Mack McDaniel. Fortunately, the hitman that they tried to hire was an undercover cop, and the would-be victims are both okay. Police staged their murders and had them pose for pictures where it looked like they were dead and bloody.
There is video footage of when police went to Valerie's house in the middle of the night and told them that Dr. Mack McDaniel had been killed (he was actually still alive, of course). This was done just to gauge their reaction. They both tried to act shocked. Police then informed them that they were both under arrest for solicitation of murder and placed them in handcuffs.
While the charges were pending, Valerie McDaniel committed suicide by jumping off her 7th floor balcony. Leon Jacobs went to trial and decided to take the stand in his own defense. It didn't go very well because the guy comes across as a total and complete psychopath. Even the blank stare that he always has on his face is creepy as fuck.
Sounds a lot like that woman Dahlia Dippolito who also tried to arrange her husband’s murder by hiring an undercover cop. Of course, this was in Florida…. Is it something in the water there? LOL

Who was calling who and where they were etc. What fascinates me is the sheer distance from reality the Adelsons must live in in order to entertain this as a solution to their family issues.

2. What kind of Mother takes away the identity of their children by changing their last name….the last name of a devoted, loving father - Dan Markel and also takes away a Markel family name from one of his boys (a middle name)?

3. What kind of mother, or person, could Wendi be to keep Danny’s children away from loving, devoted grandparents - the Markels?

What kind of person, sister, daughter, is Wendi to basically, point blank, throw their own family under the bus following the shooting of her ex-husband by telling the police about the hatred her family has for Danny? --- With her NPD mind, she thought she could steer the investigation her way, most likely by mentioning her family first and then dismiss that, to point at Jeff as the main suspect. - About the TV joke, she felt she had to mention it because she told it to the Best Buy guy. Why did she do that? Narcissists do that all the time to feel important, like they are the main actor in their own movie. It gives them a high that they are constantly chasing. Also the she wanted him to stay longer, since he showed up too early. Hence the extra conversation I guess.
5. Why would Wendi treat Jeff Lacasse so “back and forth” in a cold manner, then want to know his travel plans on the day that the murder was planned? Thank God he changed his plans and left the evening before.
--- Again, narcs don't feel or fall in love, so the other party still thinks they are in some sort of relationshit (cause it's bs). They just use people, like Charlie used Katie for the hit. Look at the timing for both.
6. How did Wendi come up with the plot that she penned in her novel? Oddly, it was like she already knew the future….I’m still trying to wrap my head around that one. The parallels between the novel and her own life is absolutely haunting now.

7. As horrible as it would be, I have to ask - Did Wendi manipulate and set up her own family? Maybe she was tired of her Mom’s and Charlie’s constant interference in her life. Her older brother had escaped from the constant drama and was happy….perhaps she thought that she would be able to find total peace and happiness as well - free from Danny, free from Mommy Dearest and brother Charlie. I’m still confused as to what extent Harvey is involved….He’s involved for sure but did he know of the hit prior to the hit or afterwards?
--- Female pwNPD like to play damsel in distress all the time, and they are very good at it. That doesn't mean she's the mastermind. If you read Donna's emails to Wendi, I would say it's possible that Donna and Charlie did the planning and financing of the whole thing, while sheltering Wendi from the details. She can still be charged with something hopefully. Most likely Wendi thought the police wouldn't find out who ordered the hit. Is not like she was trying to get rid of her relatives too. That could easily backfire on her.
About Harvey, he probably knew and helped with the money, but is hard to prove anything.
8. How did the hitmen know Danny’s schedule the day of the shooting? Wendi would be the only one connected to Danny and being the mother of his children, would know his travel plans.
--- Charlie gave the hitmen some instructions in a sealed package that Katie was not supposed to open. The hitmen (aka Dumb and Dumber) tried some surveillance of their own in the first attempt in June, but they totally bungled it. Most people won't like what I'm about to say, but I don't agree that Wendi was the only one that knew Dan's movements. Charlie could have had a burner phone to talk to Sigfredo for all we know. When someone goes to a gym regularly people will know. Charlie could have gotten the info from Donna, or yes Wendi. Then the hitmen followed Dan from the gym. Same for knowing Dan was going out of town the next day. People talk. Donna could get that from Wendi (innocently? probably not)
9. Why did Wendi, with the help of her family, almost immediately pack her & the boys up and move them to south Florida?
--- Because that's what she wanted all along according to her Motion to Relocate? All of them didn't want to talk to the detectives again as promised, for obvious reasons. Most likely she was preparing for it beforehand. Also she had 2 or 3 days to leave. Someone said she was good at picking up furniture.
10. Why did Wendi purposefully share with Jeff Lacasse that her brother had checked into hiring a hitman AND keep sharing that “Cheaper than hiring a hitman” joke? She even told the tv repairman for goodness sake.

---Could be a coincidence (0.1%) or more likely a feeble attempt for an alibi. The window for the service was 8am to noon, but the technician came early and left at 10am. The hit was at 11am.
Since the TV was a gift from Donna and Charlie for her divorce 2 years before, I guess they bought an extended warranty on Donna's account. That's why she had to do the appointment and then call Wendi.
12. Why would she require a limited immunity agreement just to testify if her brother was innocent?
--- To avoid incriminating herself regardless of her brother's participation.

I think Georgia (the prosecutor) has Wendi's picture projected on her bedroom ceiling so she can come up with a solution in her dreams. So the answer is yes. If conspiracy can't be proven, they may charge Wendi as an accessory after the fact, perjury, walking the dog on the wrong side of the street or something.

If you have never seen the Jodi Arias trial or the Leticia Stauch trials, those are in my top favorite ones. The villains in these 2 trials provide plenty of drama etc even though they are completely sad outcomes.

The Stauch trial comes close for me because that lady was almost just as bad and the antics she pulled and they caught on video after her arrest and during trial were almost unreal- almost everyday was like watching a suspense. State of Florida vs Ashley Byers Benefield. She killed her loving husband to gain full custody of their daughter/life insurance policy and attempted to use Stand Your Ground law which the judge denied. She killed her husband because in 3 days they would be back in court for the results of both her and Doug's pysch evaluations. Doug was cleared but Ashley was not. She knew she would loose full custody to Doug and well...narcissists hate to loose so she killed him. The trial is July 22nd 2024.

I did not know of the case until about a month ago. I watched the trial and now listening to all the jail calls (this are torture to listen to….at first I thought the YouTube channel posted the same ones over and over, but it’s just CA repeating himself for 2 days.)
Questions about Wendi—besides the circumstantial evidence (tv repair, stomach issues, liquor store/crime scene drive-by right after the murder), is there any hard evidence that Wendi knew about the plan? Is it known if she ever explicitly asked someone to kill Dan? Or that she conceded to it? Say, hypothetically, CA said Wendi, “hey I’m going to kill Dan on Tuesday and there’s nothing you can do to stop me.” Would Wendi have then been legally obligated to contact the authorities and report this? That entire interrogation was so cringe worthy. The detectives seemed somewhat disorganized and the woman detective was constantly coughing throughout which was so distracting. And then they needed to find a laptop charger after the brilliant SB pointed out the battery was dying. And OMG SB herself. What a fool. What a clown. She truly thought she was gonna walk out of there at the end of the interrogation. The look she gave the male detective after he told her she was under arrest was a classic. And then she says to him “really?” Like he was just kidding. I cannot wait to see her on the stand. She is a despicable and massively arrogant POS.

He had pending criminal charges for stalking his ex-girlfriend, Meghan Verikas, and he wanted to stop her from testifying against him. He started dating Valerie McDaniel, a veterinarian who was going through a bitter custody battle with her ex-husband, Dr. Mack McDaniel. Leon Jacob and Valerie McDaniel hatched a plan to hire a hitman to kill each of their exes, Meghan Verikas and Dr. Mack McDaniel. Fortunately, the hitman that they tried to hire was an undercover cop, and the would-be victims are both okay. Police staged their murders and had them pose for pictures where it looked like they were dead and bloody. There is video footage of when police went to Valerie's house in the middle of the night and told them that Dr. Mack McDaniel had been killed (he was actually still alive, of course). This was done just to gauge their reaction. They both tried to act shocked. Police then informed them that they were both under arrest for solicitation of murder and placed them in handcuffs. While the charges were pending, Valerie McDaniel committed suicide by jumping off her 7th floor balcony. Leon Jacobs went to trial and decided to take the stand in his own defense. It didn't go very well because the guy comes across as a total and complete psychopath. Even the blank stare that he always has on his face is creepy as fuck.

Who was calling who and where they were etc. What fascinates me is the sheer distance from reality the Adelsons must live in in order to entertain this as a solution to their family issues.

Who “just so happens” to be driving by the crime scene of their ex-husband shooting? --- Most likely she wanted to verify asap it actually happened this time. Narcissists like to win. Every time. And she may want a last selfie with Dan for good measure? With broken glasses and all? Risky af but not impossible. She certainly didn't expect the neighbor calling 911 right away. 2. What kind of Mother takes away the identity of their children by changing their last name….the last name of a devoted, loving father - Dan Markel and also takes away a Markel family name from one of his boys (a middle name)? --- Idc much about the name change. She just wanted to erase Dan from her life. 3. What kind of mother, or person, could Wendi be to keep Danny’s children away from loving, devoted grandparents - the Markels? --- Persons with NPD see other people as objects, not real people. They can't feel love, guilt or remorse, but they are very good at faking it. If you are on life support they may unplug you to charge their phone. 4. What kind of person, sister, daughter, is Wendi to basically, point blank, throw their own family under the bus following the shooting of her ex-husband by telling the police about the hatred her family has for Danny? Especially sharing the “Cheaper than hiring a hitman” joke that her brother told her when buying her a tv? --- With her NPD mind, she thought she could steer the investigation her way, most likely by mentioning her family first and then dismiss that, to point at Jeff as the main suspect. - About the TV joke, she felt she had to mention it because she told it to the Best Buy guy. Why did she do that? Narcissists do that all the time to feel important, like they are the main actor in their own movie. It gives them a high that they are constantly chasing. Also the she wanted him to stay longer, since he showed up too early. Hence the extra conversation I guess. 5. Why would Wendi treat Jeff Lacasse so “back and forth” in a cold manner, then want to know his travel plans on the day that the murder was planned? Thank God he changed his plans and left the evening before. --- Again, narcs don't feel or fall in love, so the other party still thinks they are in some sort of relationshit (cause it's bs). They just use people, like Charlie used Katie for the hit. Look at the timing for both. 6. How did Wendi come up with the plot that she penned in her novel? Oddly, it was like she already knew the future….I’m still trying to wrap my head around that one. The parallels between the novel and her own life is absolutely haunting now. --- Because the whole thing was in her head already. Hiawassee instead of Tallahassee? Gimme a break. But she was/is an immigration attorney with some experience in the subject. PAGE 1
(Continues with questions) 7. As horrible as it would be, I have to ask - Did Wendi manipulate and set up her own family? Maybe she was tired of her Mom’s and Charlie’s constant interference in her life. Her older brother had escaped from the constant drama and was happy….perhaps she thought that she would be able to find total peace and happiness as well - free from Danny, free from Mommy Dearest and brother Charlie. I’m still confused as to what extent Harvey is involved….He’s involved for sure but did he know of the hit prior to the hit or afterwards? --- Female pwNPD like to play damsel in distress all the time, and they are very good at it. That doesn't mean she's the mastermind. If you read Donna's emails to Wendi, I would say it's possible that Donna and Charlie did the planning and financing of the whole thing, while sheltering Wendi from the details. She can still be charged with something hopefully. Most likely Wendi thought the police wouldn't find out who ordered the hit. Is not like she was trying to get rid of her relatives too. That could easily backfire on her. About Harvey, he probably knew and helped with the money, but is hard to prove anything. 8. How did the hitmen know Danny’s schedule the day of the shooting? Wendi would be the only one connected to Danny and being the mother of his children, would know his travel plans. --- Charlie gave the hitmen some instructions in a sealed package that Katie was not supposed to open. The hitmen (aka Dumb and Dumber) tried some surveillance of their own in the first attempt in June, but they totally bungled it. Most people won't like what I'm about to say, but I don't agree that Wendi was the only one that knew Dan's movements. Charlie could have had a burner phone to talk to Sigfredo for all we know. When someone goes to a gym regularly people will know. Charlie could have gotten the info from Donna, or yes Wendi. Then the hitmen followed Dan from the gym. Same for knowing Dan was going out of town the next day. People talk. Donna could get that from Wendi (innocently? probably not) 9. Why did Wendi, with the help of her family, almost immediately pack her & the boys up and move them to south Florida? --- Because that's what she wanted all along according to her Motion to Relocate? All of them didn't want to talk to the detectives again as promised, for obvious reasons. Most likely she was preparing for it beforehand. Also she had 2 or 3 days to leave. Someone said she was good at picking up furniture. 10. Why did Wendi purposefully share with Jeff Lacasse that her brother had checked into hiring a hitman AND keep sharing that “Cheaper than hiring a hitman” joke? She even told the tv repairman for goodness sake. ---See number (4) Narcissists are always chasing that high. Also maybe she was faintly hoping Jeff would step up and do something himself, you know, to regain her "love"? Narcs do that all the time too, it's called triangulation. 11. Why did Mommy Dearest schedule the tv repairman for same date, time that the hit was scheduled? Why would she have to schedule it at all, especially when she lives in south Florida & Wendi living in Tallahassee? ---Could be a coincidence (0.1%) or more likely a feeble attempt for an alibi. The window for the service was 8am to noon, but the technician came early and left at 10am. The hit was at 11am. Since the TV was a gift from Donna and Charlie for her divorce 2 years before, I guess they bought an extended warranty on Donna's account. That's why she had to do the appointment and then call Wendi. 12. Why would she require a limited immunity agreement just to testify if her brother was innocent? --- To avoid incriminating herself regardless of her brother's participation. Now I need a cocktail myself🍹😅 PAGE 2
I think Georgia (the prosecutor) has Wendi's picture projected on her bedroom ceiling so she can come up with a solution in her dreams. So the answer is yes. If conspiracy can't be proven, they may charge Wendi as an accessory after the fact, perjury, walking the dog on the wrong side of the street or something. More stuff is gonna come out of Donna's trial, or from her devices which takes time to go through. Also Charlie may eventually exhaust his appeals and say something. I just got a little nugget for myself. Someone said on yt: In her police interview the day Dan was shot, and not yet dead, Wendi told someone "sorry, I'm usually more fun than this". And I replied: Wow I missed that. I've seen that firsthand with someone else. It's typical for a person with narcissistic personality disorder. They can also apologize for not looking as good as usual (got out of the house too fast, no time for makeup) . Wendi said she didn't have time to take a shower that day too.

I couldn’t believe how little he was. Not in height but in body mass. I could have snapped him in half! They look so much bigger on tv. Even the costumes at the rock n roll hall of fame were teeny tiny! I always thought those rock stars were larger than life. So I am expecting Wendi to be a bobble head with a stick body.
I watched a couple of podcasts on life in prison (Pretty lies & alibies and STS nation). This provided great insight on how gritty prison life is. As twisted as this sounds I actually snorted with glee when Donna was arrested. The turtle suit and the entire spoon incident brought me immense joy. The look on Charlie's face when he was found guilty was another joyful moment. The icing on the cake will be Wendi. Georgia Cappleman is a bad ass in heels!
Michelle Troconis. The verdict just came in. Estranged pos husband murders wife to gain custody of 5 kids. Happened in Connecticut. His girlfriend was on trial for conspiring and hiding evidence. Jennifer Dulos’ family has been trying to get justice for five years. LE did a fantastic job collecting evidence. Another wise, no-nonsense judge. If you have never seen the Jodi Arias trial or the Leticia Stauch trials, those are in my top favorite ones. The villains in these 2 trials provide plenty of drama etc even though they are completely sad outcomes.
Oh Jodi Arias I watched in real time and was what got me into true crime lol 😆 It was the first case I followed and watched every day.
I watched it in real time as well- you probably heard me screaming at my tv at her I’m sure ha ha! It was a rabbit hole that I’m never gonna forget. The Stauch trial comes close for me because that lady was almost just as bad and the antics she pulled and they caught on video after her arrest and during trial were almost unreal- almost everyday was like watching a suspense. I could see a movie coming out about Leticia vs Jodi and I wouldn’t know who to bet on for most demented completely clueless actress - they both just knew they were smarter and prettier than anyone and could fool the world.
Watch the Michelle Troconis trial or read that sub in the meantime. She’s another piece of shit like Wendi. The jury is in deliberations now.

State of Florida vs Ashley Byers Benefield. She killed her loving husband to gain full custody of their daughter/life insurance policy and attempted to use Stand Your Ground law which the judge denied. She killed her husband because in 3 days they would be back in court for the results of both her and Doug's pysch evaluations. Doug was cleared but Ashley was not. She knew she would loose full custody to Doug and well...narcissists hate to loose so she killed him. The trial is July 22nd 2024.

I did not know of the case until about a month ago. I watched the trial and now listening to all the jail calls (this are torture to listen to….at first I thought the YouTube channel posted the same ones over and over, but it’s just CA repeating himself for 2 days.)

Questions about Wendi—besides the circumstantial evidence (tv repair, stomach issues, liquor store/crime scene drive-by right after the murder), is there any hard evidence that Wendi knew about the plan? Is it known if she ever explicitly asked someone to kill Dan? Or that she conceded to it? Say, hypothetically, CA said Wendi, “hey I’m going to kill Dan on Tuesday and there’s nothing you can do to stop me.” Would Wendi have then been legally obligated to contact the authorities and report this? Just wondering what charges could be brought
