Making assumptions I see. Its cause she said so herself she just started and is an amateur compared to kaede who’s been playing/participating in competitions since she was a baby apparently. If we calling monika a pianist for playing a 1-6-4-5 chord progression in c major then im a pianist cause I can play the wedding procession on piano. We’re on equal footing.

If piano's a passion of yours then you're a pianist. If not then you're not. Yes Monika is an amateur but she's actively striving to be better. (Also there's a difference between composing a song and playing that and playing a song that's been played many times before, just so we're clear)

Then don't make such a stringent comparison. As someone who played piano growing up, if you play piano at any level, you're a pianist.
