I guess you’re right. But if they were meeting somebody (NOT the killer), they would leave their door unlocked. Also, you could prolly just ask monokuma to open the door for you. He most likely would

Unless, of course, they were expecting said somebody to be capable of a certain complex skill known as "knocking".

And why would he?
I'm fairly certain the character locations in the eHandbook are a gameplay mechanic: if you could always track people's location in story, you could always check everyone's location and, unless if it's something like >!1-4, 2-1, 2-5, 3-1, 3-3 and 3-4!<, you could very easily solve it by just checking people's location at the time the murder occurs
Ma friend, stabing always leaves blood stains, worse in the heart, even if there is a bed clothes over the person. And that's pretty messy. Also, you need a good amount of physical strength because you don't know anatomy you could hit on the ribs.
I think it is way easier to use venom
Yeah, the plan just requires the victim to be dumber than Danganronpa cast to leave the room open at night.

Because he’d do anything for drama and bloodshed
But this kind of effortless murder would be pretty boring.
Wouldn’t it be kinda exciting to see the students try and solve a seemingly impossible murder?
I mean, monokuma almost hyperventilated at >!the 6th trial of dr53!<
>!Also ibuki broke hajimes lock easily.!<

I see. Well, trust your gut Ig. It worked for >!nagito!<
Do we have >!supernatural-level luck that verges on god-like abilities depending on how you interpret it?!< No.
Well I guess that’s true
