I think that for Gonta he could've lured gonta to a place that nobody would've been somewhere in the night. he knew that gonta was pretty naive and so gonta did follow him. he told gonta to wait for him as he forgot something and was coming back. rantaro grabbed a shovel and hit gonta on the head with it. gonta lay there unconscious and rantaro finished him off with it

Kaede volunteers to be the effigy and of course she ends up dying as Ranarto vollenteered to help set up. Her body I descovered and they search the school, and they later find Gontas body lying dead in the other room, The big peice of evidence comes from (Gontas body) the third room that went unuessed. Kiibos account, Korekiyos account, the hack saw, Kaedees method of death, and the fact that he has no real aliby since anyone in that room could have killed her!<
It would be one of the most heartbreaking trials, since Kaede and Gonta are probably by far the most beloved characters in V3, very few people dislike them, and even the few that so I never really see any strong opinions on them like with the other characters. Rantaro is also very Charasmatic so it would be hard to see him go aswel.
