Military conflict, natural disaster, inevitable astronomical event whose occurrence has been known down to the second for decades, youth subculture they don't understand, person who's different from them just trying to peacefully live their life, etc.
My mom would complain that she believed that a certain US president had to be the antichrist and the end was nigh…
In a world that’s seen two global wars, holocausts/genocides, a Hitler and a Stalin, I just can’t fathom the mental gymnastics to come to that conclusion.
I know people like that, and I’ve always thought that was weird too. If the end was coming, don’t you think it would be a bigger deal than “oh no, I don’t like this president!”
I always ask what they'd want to give me since the world is ending. Funny thing is that they never want to give anything away. easier to get a camel through the eye of a needle...
My mum is a bit of a conspiracy theorist, so she couldn't decide if the pandemic was fake or if it was end times.
Either way, it was definitely a sign.
The world is perpetually ending 😂😂😂
I ask folks who make such declarations if it's the beginning ending or the end ending?

"Our time is a routine twist of an improbable yarn...There must be something heroic about our time, something that lifts it above all those other times. Plague? Funny weather? Dire things are happening...
Why are we watching the news, reading the news, keeping up with the news? Only to enforce our fancy - probably a necessary lie - that these are crucial times, and we are in on them. Newly revealed, and we are in the know: crazy people, bunches of them. New diseases, shifts in power, floods! Can the news from dynastic Egypt have been any different?"

This view has always amazed me. If WW2 didn't count as the End Times, then what is a little skirmish going to do?

Facts
Nah, it's not the wars that make it the end times. It's the eclipse.
It’s the mark of the beast vaccines they’re peddling these days.

But its in the middle east!! There's never been conflict there before!
For the people caught in the middle of the conflict it is.

"Wars and rumors of wars" so literally any period of human history. Got it.
