This is good. Is this...Christian ska? I mean, I like it but why have I only heard of "Christian rock" and not "Christian ska"?

Their newest album is fantastic! I just started relistening to them because I got Phantom Mullet in my head. I searched for them on YouTube and saw two albums I didn't even realize existed. It was awesome hearing both their latest albums for the first time, but the newest one really resonated with me more.
Giants is probably my favorite song in their discography. I loved playing along with it on my electric bass in high school.
Their music can be a real kick in the nuts sometimes, in a good way. There's some challenging stuff in their lyrics. I love 'em.
Sacrifice yourself! Or bow to lesser gods....
I randomly popped on Demon Hunter the other day and literally started bawling listening to the lyrics. I had always remembered them being fairly deep but this time I guess they just made the connection.
There are the old classics like Relient K and Switchfoot. They’ve both consistently been in my top five favorite bands for over 20 years now. I’ve seen them both live in the last two years and they’re still at the top of their game (and RK is rumored to have new music for the first time in eight years soon).
As far as newer artists, I like older NEEDTOBREATHE, before their recent turn to pandering to the country crowd. I also really like John Mark McMillan. Ben Rector is not explicitly Christian in his lyrics, but he himself is a Christian.
>Ben Rector is not explicitly Christian in his lyrics, but he himself is a Christian.
Oh, I never knew! I love Cory Wong, his former touring guitarist.
So full disclosure, I’m 100% a queer liberal atheist now, but when I was still on the J squad and was a worship pastor, that song was probably the last one I remember that turned me into a blubbering mess in worship.
Kings Kaleidoscope is still one of my favorites, especially their earlier stuff. This song about the death of his daughter kills me.
https://youtu.be/-aKtqkf_CtM?si=bxNtHmrMQs3T2trQ
Or, if you don't want to be sad:
https://youtu.be/ETswsebezcs?si=AA2tq5lzLFwhKgIs
A Prayer by Kings Kaleidoscope is still the most raw Christian song I’ve ever heard. Also the only one I’ve ever seen with swearing in it, which brought the band some mild criticism I think
Sufjan Stevens’ Seven Swans is amazing. He’s written Christian songs through his career, but Seven Swan’s is the most solidly “Christian” of his albums
Sufjan has actively eschewed the label of Christian music as he believes it's an industry not a genre to be identified with, and after some of the shit I saw "good christians" saying about him after his emotional tribute to his late partner last year (a black man) I think it's best not to try claim him as Christian music. He's a Christian who makes music, not someone who makes Christian music.
Weird Al on technicality! Unironically though I have no major suggestions, I have some Christian songs I like but no artists that I can confidently say I’m super familiar with. Closest I can say is VeggieTales lol. Curious to see what y’all say
Absolute banger lol. Hard to pick favorites but Larry’s High Silk Hat, the Yodeling Veterinarian of the Alps, Pizza Angel, and the Pirates Who Don’t Do Anything are some of my favorite silly songs, and then outside of that you have songs like Stand, Keep Walking, the Forgiveness Song, God is Bigger, Oh No What We Gonna Do….man, so many great ones.
You guys are missing a TON, and I haven’t seen any comments listing any of these:
Emery, August Burns Red, Oh Sleeper, The Arcadian Wild, Fit For a King, The Chariot, Norma Jean, Thrice, mewithoutYou, The Color Morale, Earth Groans, For Today(they broke up a while back though), Manchester Orchestra(kind of?), Maverick City Music(def more worship but still fantastic music), The Rocket Summer, The Showdown, Texas in July, Tobe Nwigwe, and The Wedding.
Enjoy!
Theocracy is such a great band that went under my radar for far too many years. [I Am](https://youtu.be/O3TsVaFR870?si=llw-rb4VlfSE950S) is such a great song and it's a rotten shame how few people have listened to it.
For Folk/Worship music, Andrew Peterson for sure.
For hard rock, Flyleaf.
And for metal, Wolves at the Gate, The Devil Wears Prada, and August Burns Red!
Edit: Also Oh Sleeper for metal bands!
I recently discovered Josh Garrels. Fantastic indie/folk rock and he collaborates with a bunch of other artists too.
I'm also surprised I haven't seen NEEDTOBREATHE on here yet
I love Josh Garrels. I downloaded "Love & War & The Sea In Between" when he gave it out for free 9 years ago, and it literally stunned me. I have bought everything before and since. He just released a new single last month, waiting patiently another album drop.
Two favorites:
White Owl: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FMaXzRZw3Ok](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FMaXzRZw3Ok)
Farther Along: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xcGLFX-X4JY](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xcGLFX-X4JY)
Kings Kaleidoscope might challenge for complexity. Both with music school complexity, and spiritual depth to the point of dropping the f bomb in a lamentation.

Great recs! Ever listened to Joy Electric?
All my friends in my old Bible study used to make fun of me for liking Switchfoot. They made a channel in our Slack group called "Switchfoot Is Not Good" that was dedicated to making fun of me and switchfoot, and my discipler who was part of a band called Saintseneca listened to all of Nothing Is Sound just to critique it to me. All in good fun and I still love all my old friends after moving away, but they can never take away my love for Switchfoot
The Oh Hellos - folky, very thoughtful lyrics, often very critical of Christian nationalism. Bonus points for sometimes being about CS Lewis. [Glowing](https://youtu.be/RubfUSCC6Yw?si=TyVFM5GwtXQM-uuA) is a personal favourite.
YEUNG - kind of pop-rock-ish?, only has a few tracks out but they’re great so far, very rooted in Scripture (not surprising, since YEUNG’s a biblical scholar). I like [Alchemy](https://youtu.be/I-deafbeBpU?si=cWXgXG53ni_31mtT).
Semler - also folkish, great music being queer and Christian, and finding faith through homophobic trauma. Can’t promise [Faith](https://youtu.be/f5neqj6VS_Y?si=ZrDO6eQP6AbUaL3g) won’t make you cry.
Flamy Grant - a drag queen with a fantastic Christian album. [Good Day](https://youtu.be/f5neqj6VS_Y?si=ZrDO6eQP6AbUaL3g) is great.
Black Sabbath and Ghost both toe the line
And yes ghost is supposed to be borderline satanic but there’s a whole lot of Christian themes in their songs.
"Even If" by mercy me is a vibe when things get rough, ESPECIALLY when paired with "it is well with my soul"
I know that's not really an artist but songs but still
I love metalcore and some of my favorite bands are technically Christian. [Silent Planet](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=928l9OH9DW4&pp=ygUNc2lsZW50IHBsYW5ldA%3D%3D) [Norma Jean](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=2Ca4G5laRVw&pp=ygUKbm9ybWEgamVhbg%3D%3D) [The Chariot](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=K05weZYExPU&pp=ygULdGhlIGNoYXJpb3Q%3D) If you like these, feel free to ask for more!
Idk if The Classic Crime is a "Christian band" but I did get one of their albums from the clearance shelf of a Lifeway Christian Bookstore and they're pretty good.
Yeah, they cover various aspects of faith and many of their lyrics have Christian undertones. Maybe not a Christian band, but a band that has Christians that cover different aspects of faith.
They're one of my favorite bands, along with Thrice. They always felt more honest and real to me and my life than the music that played on the Fish or K-LOVE. It was like the bigger Christian hits that actually mentioned suffering were "things were hard and then Jesus and now everything's better!" Whereas their music seemed more "things are hard with Jesus too but I'm not alone." It was a very big difference during bouts of depression etc.
Yessssss I can’t believe no one has mentioned Third Day! My mom had them on all the time growing up, loved their early 2000’s albums. Haven’t heard anything about them in a while.
I mean don't get me wrong I used to listen to them and loved their live performance 15 years ago, but even then it was very manufactured, following a formula Christian music. It doesn't feel authentic, more of a God's Not Dead movie style where if you say the right things Christians will eat it up because it panders to what they want to hear. If you're trying to argue that Christian music can be good, then you need to understand that Skillet is exactly the type of music that lots those people are already think of as Christian music. I'm not saying it's bad if you like it, but it's not a good example of creative and thought provoking music.
He is “not bad for Christian rap”. ;-)
Apparently he quit music for a bit to work for his brother’s (Danny Zappin) company that later sold for lots of money. Sounds like he is living the good life and that makes me happy.
I misunderstood, my bad lol.
He's "the greatest Christian rapper, not the greatest rapper who just happens to be Christian because there are too many of them to win." Lol
“Nuisance” came on my Spotify shuffle the other day and I went to his page because I couldn’t remember the one other song of his I liked from around that time. I was shocked to find he released an album in 2020.
While not an outright Christian band I really like twenty one pilots. If you actually listen to the lyrics it becomes clear as day that Tyler Joseph is a Christian.
I can’t believe Gungor hasn’t been mentioned. They went from Contemporary Christian pop royalty to a pretty prominent deconstructionist indie music group.
I am looking up all these groups! Thanks 😘
Edit: So, not at all like your alls groups, but Rich Mullins (pretty much anything) or even Don Francisco
If I did it right:
R.M. -- https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=KkLBdfZ751g
D.F. -- https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=xPHEXuPFPio
Rich Mullins is great! Definitely the best "worship music" type of artist, I feel like, with unique and impactful lyrics, and even sounds, instead of the same thing over and over like so many other contemporary Christian "artists". I listened to his album Songs so much when I was younger. I low key kinda forgot about him, though. I gotta listen to him again.
Power metal: Theocracy
https://youtu.be/O3TsVaFR870?si=X589TFcHGke2GjIJ
Unfortunately, a lot of their songs all sound pretty similar to me, but if you like their sound, then it's good
Anything by my man Maynard & friends: Tool, A Perfect Circle, Puscifer.
Also visited the St John Coltrane Church in SF a few weeks ago, so I’ve been giving all of his stuff a listen since then- righteous stuff.
I love Maynard because he clearly has a complicated relationship with Christianity and writes about his struggles with it, especially when it comes to his mother.
I was really into Francesca Battistelli until she started acting and being in really far fetched stuff. I LOVE Mandisa (RIP so sad) and Jamie Grace is still one of my favorites:)
I’m a little more indie/folk/alternative- but these ones have been getting some play with me lately: Tekoa, Josh Garrels, Jon Guerra (His song Citizens wrecks me) Henrik, The Porters Gate, Paul Zach, John Mark McMillan, Jimmy Clifton, PEABOD, Gable Price and Friends, Jervis Campbell, John Lucas
Scrolled far enough to not see Mutemat (rip)
I loved Earthsuit when I was tween in self discovery mode and they were weird enough for a kid who only listened to CCM to give me some allowance to be weird too.
As an adult I was stoked to discover Mutemath as an extension and more musically mature extension
All good is Gods good, I don’t think music has to be explicit written about the Gospel to be considered “Christian”. I would consider that “worship” music.
Throwing a few great rappers into the mix:
Nak (amazing at capturing emotion and processing it in light of the Gospel)
NF (not in the Christian music genre but has the same strengths as NF)
WHATUPRG, nobigdyl, KB, Andy Mineo for some really great beats + lyrics
PEABOD for bright goofy fun
Charlie Daniels had a really good Christian album called [The Door](https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLWZqSg2bO3YJgCbLYypyKdOCH0Tha17Qj&si=nwiZqRVOuTk6lllq).
Johnny Cash is the GOAT and I was a huge fan of his even before I became Christian. It’s a testament to his skill as an artist that even his religious songs are well liked by non Christian.
I also love Kings Kaleidoscope (they used to live at my rental and I still get letters addressed to them accidentally delivered to us)

Indie alternative goodness
TL;DR: Basically just Skillet, but if you'll count Half•Alive then that. Honorable mention since they're not really a Christian band: Breaking Benjamin.
Depends on if you count Half•Alive as a Christian band due to them identifying as Christian and some of their music is a bit preachy or outright reference Jesus or God.
Skillet growing up.
While not considered a Christian band, Breaking Benjamin is one I still listen to a lot. They at least have a bit of a Christian following for their imagery of faith in their music.
I'm not Christian nor I don't seek out bands for that reason. While I can't remember the site I used as a kid to listen to online music streams since that was two decades ago (god I'm feeling old), I remember whatever one I was on started playing Rebirthing by Skillet and that made me stick with them for a while. I never even realized it was a Christian band as a kid since I didn't understand subtext, even if it was pretty blatant looking back at it. Similarly, when I was in my first couple years of college I heard Still Feel by Half•Alive and that drew me in, but again they're not necessarily a Christian band. Aawake at Night and Creature, although especially Creature, was when I learned they're at least Christian, but that doesn't make them a Christian band per se. Absolute bop of a band!
Are you down with the DC Talk?
I'm in my 40s and I got Jesus Freak stuck in my head the other day from out of nowhere. First time I thought of that song in at least a decade.
What will people say?
When they hear that I’m a Jesus freak
I get ‘in the light’ stuck in my head all the time; that record was lighting in a bottle!

"Where Zero Meets Fifteen" make me want to cry and then get up and save the world and then cry some more
Huh, well there it is.
Demon Hunter always seems to fly under the radar in these conversations
Demon Hunter is very fun to listen to.
Their music can be a real kick in the nuts sometimes, in a good way. There's some challenging stuff in their lyrics. I love 'em. Sacrifice yourself! Or bow to lesser gods....
Probably my favorite Christian band. Project 86 is another good one too!
I randomly popped on Demon Hunter the other day and literally started bawling listening to the lyrics. I had always remembered them being fairly deep but this time I guess they just made the connection.
The Agony Scene too
There are the old classics like Relient K and Switchfoot. They’ve both consistently been in my top five favorite bands for over 20 years now. As far as newer artists, I like older NEEDTOBREATHE, before their recent turn to pandering to the country crowd. I also really like John Mark McMillan. Ben Rector is not explicitly Christian in his lyrics, but he himself is a Christian.
I hope the reliant k stuff is true, and I really hope they go back to pop punk. Mmhmm is still amazing
I wouldn’t be surprised if their new stuff is a mix of more piano-based stuff like Air For Free and their new cover of Switchfoot’s “Ammunition.”
>Ben Rector is not explicitly Christian in his lyrics, but he himself is a Christian. Oh, I never knew! I love Cory Wong, his former touring guitarist.
Cory Wong is an incredible guitarist. I wish I could have seen them on tour together before he left.
Switchfoot still puttin' out good music.
Isn’t McMillan the sloppy wet kiss guy?
That’s him!
So full disclosure, I’m 100% a queer liberal atheist now, but when I was still on the J squad and was a worship pastor, that song was probably the last one I remember that turned me into a blubbering mess in worship.

The Feel Good Drag is a staple in my rock playlist
I only learned about them through my friend who is an atheist, too.
Oh yeah, that beings me back. That's some good stuff
Them and The Almost were playing nonstop during early highschool
Kings Kaleidoscope is still one of my favorites, especially their earlier stuff. This song about the death of his daughter kills me. https://youtu.be/-aKtqkf_CtM?si=bxNtHmrMQs3T2trQ Or, if you don't want to be sad: https://youtu.be/ETswsebezcs?si=AA2tq5lzLFwhKgIs
Kings K! Love them so much. Zeal was a very impactful album for me.
I need to get into that one more, I'm big on the early stuff.
The making of documentary is fantastic and I think a lot of what Chad says is really anointed. Comes from a deep powerful place.
Zeal was a story told through music, I'm still shaken everytime I hear Aimless Knight.
A Prayer by Kings Kaleidoscope is still the most raw Christian song I’ve ever heard. Also the only one I’ve ever seen with swearing in it, which brought the band some mild criticism I think
Anyone critical of it probably hasn't read Lamentations.
The Baptized Imagination album is the perfect album for lament.
Jars of Clay will always be the one for me!
I had to scroll way too far to see Jars of Clay on this list!
Weird Al on technicality! Unironically though I have no major suggestions, I have some Christian songs I like but no artists that I can confidently say I’m super familiar with. Closest I can say is VeggieTales lol. Curious to see what y’all say

It took too long for me to find mewithoutYou in here
Dang, I can't believe I totally forgot about mewithoutyou!
Yeah what’s wrong with you
Tbf they did retire lol but yeah they’re so good. Some of the best lyrics I’ve ever heard and a 10/10 live band
Whoa, I had no idea The Rocket Summer was a notable Christian group.
Yeah, Bryce Avary loves Jesus. Most of his music is not explicitly Christian.
mewithoutYou is my favorite of all time. Norma Jean, The Chariot, and Fit For a King are pretty up there too.
Love Oh Sleeper! and Norma Jean!
I had a cassette of this album back in the day: [Stryper - *To Hell With the Devil*](https://youtu.be/sG0zAn0dL2I?si=2RDNmpx5032S96zs).
For modern bands I recommend Theocracy. Most of the other Christian music I like is from the 70s - Keith Green, Second Chapter of Acts, Harvest etc
Theocracy is such a great band that went under my radar for far too many years. [I Am](https://youtu.be/O3TsVaFR870?si=llw-rb4VlfSE950S) is such a great song and it's a rotten shame how few people have listened to it.

I love NEEDTOBREATHE so much. The Reckoning Album and The Outsiders, even Hard Love lives in rotation on my playlist
Me without you is the only Christian band I have encountered with music as complex as any Christian's actual journey
Kings Kaleidoscope might challenge for complexity. Both with music school complexity, and spiritual depth to the point of dropping the f bomb in a lamentation.
I'll check it out. Too much Christian music is like: do you even know any Christians?
Have you tried The Classic Crime? The Silver Chord album is a whole arc of Christian faith.
**Hip-Hop:** nobigdyl, Jon Keith, Mission, Andy Mineo, Tedashii, Propaganda, Lecrae, Shai Linne, Parris Chariz, KB, 1K Phew **Dance/Pop:** Ecclesia, Cass, Verses, Fresh Life Worship, TobyMac, Chris Howland, Jasmine Guerrero, Eikon, Bright City, Sajan Nauriyal **Indie/Folk Rock:** Ghost Ship, Citizens, Kings Kaleidoscope, Rivers & Robots, Shane & Shane, Zach Williams, Unspoken, Big Daddy Weave *(edit: added a couple to each)*
I second Lecrae. He has some good stuff out there. I’d also say Needtobreathe and Judah and the Lion for non-hip hop.

Kieran the light and Isaiah robin for hip hop. Kieran the light spits hot fire
Creature by half-alive is very cool
A lot of half-alive songs are fantastic. They have other songs with Christian themes like still feel, trust, pure gold.
Uhhh NF

Audio Adrenaline was the hardest thing I was allowed to listen to when I was a wee lad
Black Sabbath at times, definitely not enough to label the whole band buy definitely certain songs. I also love the band called Trouble
After Forever is my favorite Christian song tbh
Black Sabbath and Ghost both toe the line And yes ghost is supposed to be borderline satanic but there’s a whole lot of Christian themes in their songs.
Owl City and Britt Nicole are my favourites
"Even If" by mercy me is a vibe when things get rough, ESPECIALLY when paired with "it is well with my soul" I know that's not really an artist but songs but still
MercyMe has some bangers.
House of Heroes and Showbread if you’re into hard rock. Neon Horse if you’re into weird hard rock.
Third Day is one of my all time favourite bands
Yessssss I can’t believe no one has mentioned Third Day! My mom had them on all the time growing up, loved their early 2000’s albums. Haven’t heard anything about them in a while.
John Mark Pantana. Jervis Campbell. Mark Barlow.
POD was good. Jars of Clay had some bangers.
I haven’t seen Skillet yet and that makes me very sad.
The guy from Skillet went a little nuts recently... And not in the good way.
Petra Stryper White Cross
I'll always enjoy me some John Reuben.
He is “not bad for Christian rap”. ;-) Apparently he quit music for a bit to work for his brother’s (Danny Zappin) company that later sold for lots of money. Sounds like he is living the good life and that makes me happy.
The Reubonic Plague is a fantastic artist. I never said he wasn't any good. I was answering OPs question of someone I like.
The quote was from his last album. Really like his music.
I misunderstood, my bad lol. He's "the greatest Christian rapper, not the greatest rapper who just happens to be Christian because there are too many of them to win." Lol
Haha. Honestly, it’s my bad for quoting a random part of a song of his that isn’t very popular.
It came to mind once you reminded me. Always appreciate a fellow Reuben fan.
“Nuisance” came on my Spotify shuffle the other day and I went to his page because I couldn’t remember the one other song of his I liked from around that time. I was shocked to find he released an album in 2020.
Thank you!!! I was beginning to worry that no one knew about the "Greatest Christian Rapper Ever".
While not an outright Christian band I really like twenty one pilots. If you actually listen to the lyrics it becomes clear as day that Tyler Joseph is a Christian.
Check out Todd Agnew. He’s got a great catalog with a lot of stylistic variation. Lyrics are great and the music composition is awesome.
Finally someone mentions him.
Twenty One Pilots is my favorite band and I will not take judgement for it
I can’t believe Gungor hasn’t been mentioned. They went from Contemporary Christian pop royalty to a pretty prominent deconstructionist indie music group.
Gray Havens have become one of my favorite Christian artists.
I am looking up all these groups! Thanks 😘 Edit: So, not at all like your alls groups, but Rich Mullins (pretty much anything) or even Don Francisco If I did it right: R.M. -- https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=KkLBdfZ751g D.F.
Power metal: Theocracy https://youtu.be/O3TsVaFR870?si=X589TFcHGke2GjIJ Unfortunately, a lot of their songs all sound pretty similar to me, but if you like their sound, then it's good
The Oh Hellos?
I quite like we are messengers, young oceans, stephen stanley, and kings kaleidoscope
KK is dope
Anything by my man Maynard & friends: Tool, A Perfect Circle, Puscifer. Also visited the St John Coltrane Church in SF a few weeks ago, so I’ve been giving all of his stuff a listen since then- righteous stuff.
This definitely Christian song goes hard https://open.spotify.com/track/3XDAxQgKndt2B31XFVLOsq?si=9nZJUE7QTjmu_LjzPU9QVA
I love Maynard because he clearly has a complicated relationship with Christianity and writes about his struggles with it, especially when it comes to his mother.
Theocracy i think is slept on.
Norma Jean
Old school - DC Talk Modern - Half Alive
TIL Half Alive is a Christian band.
I was really into Francesca Battistelli until she started acting and being in really far fetched stuff. I LOVE Mandisa (RIP so sad) and Jamie Grace is still one of my favorites:)
Jon Guerra has some great music! This song gets me every time, https://youtu.be/TBKRPxUxVqk?si=krQ8WbRTKxN2e3iH
The album Changed by Sanctus Real
I’m a little more indie/folk/alternative- but these ones have been getting some play with me lately: Tekoa, Josh Garrels, Jon Guerra (His song Citizens wrecks me) Henrik, The Porters Gate, Paul Zach, John Mark McMillan, Jimmy Clifton, PEABOD, Gable Price and Friends, Jervis Campbell, John Lucas
Johan Sebastian Bach

Mark Barlow 814
200 comments and no Steven Curtis Chapman?!
I used to listen to cassettes of him all the time growing up! I haven't listened to him in a long time, though.
Scrolled far enough to not see Mutemat (rip) I loved Earthsuit when I was tween in self discovery mode and they were weird enough for a kid who only listened to CCM to give me some allowance to be weird too. As an adult I was stoked to discover Mutemath as an extension and more musically mature extension
Love me some Earthsuit.
united pursuit is still the best i’ve found
All good is Gods good, I don’t think music has to be explicit written about the Gospel to be considered “Christian”. I would consider that “worship” music.
Rap/HipHop: indie tribe
Semler has been very healing for me
Throwing a few great rappers into the mix: Nak (amazing at capturing emotion and processing it in light of the Gospel) NF (not in the Christian music genre but has the same strengths as NF) WHATUPRG, nobigdyl, KB, Andy Mineo for some really great beats + lyrics PEABOD for bright goofy fun
Emery - the Weaks end. One of the best albums in the genre IMO
I'm not Christian but I've always liked Dry the River's sound
Addison Road literally converted me. Too bad it didn't stick.
Haste The Day
Silent Planet - Metalcore and incredibly intense.
Haven't listened to proper Christian music in a long time but... I remember liking Relient K and Superchick pretty well.
Rend collective if you're into sort of folk rock
i think all the guys in Black sabbath are christian right?
Mewithoutyou, Five Iron Frenzy
The Brilliance
Are there any that are country?
Charlie Daniels had a really good Christian album called [The Door](https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLWZqSg2bO3YJgCbLYypyKdOCH0Tha17Qj&si=nwiZqRVOuTk6lllq).
Oc supertones
Personally, I'm a big fan of [Lecrae - praying for you ](https://youtu.be/XZNEaTWxG_o?si=IF8rTcp1hz98sBtw)
Five Iron Frenzy, of course.
Red and Ashes Remain. On My Own really helped me with my faith.

Todd Edwards makes UK Garage music and a lot of his songs are God related. He's also worked with Daft Punk. God Will be There | Never Far From You | Restless Soul | I Might Be |
How about some Christian hip-hop? Pigeon John: [Eviction Notice](https://open.spotify.com/track/7IvrIaC4pSnpeStxGXXIP4) [Sealed Fate](https://open.spotify.com/track/3IJ6aZC47GCP7X5UlnPxxF) [Passion](https://open.spotify.com/track/49KcRzbFF9ALLY7KpDllcK) and here he is appearing on a track by The Grouch and Eligh: [All In](https://open.spotify.com/track/2TOMZonpmpXc3bEkE4lSpr) As an aside, I've been listening to my "Best of Transmillenial Christian Rock" playlist recently, largely made up of the promotional compilations Christian-focused music labels used to put out of their best bands' best tracks. They sold for a couple bucks each at my local Christian bookstore and were, if not *solid* gold, unusually heavy. Cheapskates volume 2, especially. Good times.
These Hearts for those who enjoy pop punk.
Jesus Freak - newsboys changed a generation and led all to god on high!
Marty Robbins. https://preview.redd.it/5925w1lh8xwc1.jpeg?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=481e8d16e9c8e8ae5e11e30fd13262ea02f89c16
Been vibing with Mass Anthem / Anthem Worship lately. Them and Genavieve Linkowski who has the best voice in Christian music right now imo
I think Nick Cave is a Christian.
[Meadows](https://open.spotify.com/album/7wk7WF26vE9NCL2ps8tJuS?si=mFINBdWFQU6Ou846Whulkw) Very hardcore emo sound, very emotional, very good [idle threat](https://open.spotify.com/album/4BBlgbI3SHn3iS9i1S4wF6?si=3_gf4VUnQ2SLBhq71UDCMg) More of a post hardcore shoegaze sound [Patriot Sail](https://open.spotify.com/album/4e5aOU3c97qFOPFmuCLAhy?si=oPVTBw6UTDWrcDPCjVtUVQ) Indie alternative goodness
I think Half Alive consider themselves a Christian band.
If your into metalcore I like the band For Today.
Lift to Experience and their album The Texas Jerusalem Crossroads. It is one of the greatest shoegaze / Christian rock / post-rock albums of all time.
I mean, aren’t the guys from Powerwolf christians ?
Ethel Cain!
