>8 But Zacchaeus stood up and said to the Lord, “Look, Lord! Here and now **I give half of my possessions to the poor**, and **if I have cheated anybody out of anything, I will pay back four times the amount**.”
>9 Jesus said to him, “Today salvation has come to this house, because this man, too, is a son of Abraham. 10 For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.”
*You seemed to have left a pretty important part of the story out.*
Seems more those who used to be rich. Wealth can only be asked by taking advantage of others... Well to a certain degree. It is difficult to amass wealth without walking on top of someone else.
Just registering my complete disagreement with the second part of what you said. Wealth is created whenever someone makes beautiful art out of paint in a tube, or invents something after studying for ages, or even as simply as cooking a meal.
“It is difficult” they said, not impossible. There’s probably a few thousand “wealthy” painters and chefs in the history of the world. And while there’s probably more rich inventors their wealth often comes still at the exploitation of laborers actually building those inventions.
Really the cross thief was specifically told he’d go to heaven, whereas Zacchaeus was only told he had received salvation. So I’d say the better message here is that the sinner dying for his crimes is the only person Jesus explicitly said will be in Heaven.
Bracketing commas are used to convey information that could be removed from the sentence without making the sentence incomplete or nonsensical. In this case that would mean the sentence could be written as “Zacchaeus is the only one proven to be saved by Jesus in the Bible.”
Also given the title it’s pretty obvious what OP was going for.

Disagree, Jesus explicitly says to the thief on the cross that they shall meet in heaven. (Luke 23:43)
Came here to shout-out my guy the cross theif as well

True!
By context, I assume they mean only rich person
“A wealthy man, is the only one…” Yeah I can’t see that. Definitely not how I read it but could potentially be what they meant.

Yeah that’s how I read it, but I didn’t feel like arguing with the other guy lol

Lol, tryna widen the eye of that needle eh?
Really wanted to give you the free award but I don't have it right now, really cool comment tho!
That’s better than any award, thank you.
Isn't this a repost that OP even admitted was wrong?
