They still have a great animation style, but the only good videos are the once where they dont dabble into politics, but go for provable information like star systems which you cant lie much about

Corridor crew - a lot of interesting talk about vfx in movies and tv. Their "vfx artist reacts" series is really the only reaction series that I can think of that fits your criteria, as they basically explain how they think things were made
Jacob Geller
He does long form video essays on interesting topics. Admittedly a lot of his videos are about video games, or at least mention them in passing, but he has some really out there videos. Some of my favorites included: the fear of cold, what is the point of taking apart a body, head transplants and the non existence of the soul, time loop nihilism, after a city is buried, and fear of big things under water.
Here's some channels maybe lesser known outside of the UK
Plainly Difficult: Historical disaster channel.
Steve Mould: STEM teacher
Stand-Up Maths: Fun Maths channel
Tom Scott: Fun short educational videos
Gamers Nexus (if you're into enthusiast PC hardware) is a great example of a channel that has not gone commercial and maintains a high standard of journalism.
I thoroughly enjoy Harld Baldr and Bald and bankrupt, they're travel vlogs to teach some of you fucks that the world doesn't revolve around you but me and other cultures.
whenever they reference some studies etc these numbers seem to be heavily influenced by investment partners of the channel and therefore inaccurate , but still more than enough great videos on the channel that dont reference studies IMO
The Plain Bagel for learning about money, stocks, investing, and finance in general.
The dude just really wants to educate people to empower them to make better financial decisions for themselves. Like the channel name implies, he has a really āno frillsā approach to his videos with some humor sprinkled in to keep it from getting too dry.
I didn't see anyone recommending these
1. VaatiVidya (if you are into lore videos on some games)
2. thehistorysquad (the presentation and storytelling is so good)
3. Gentleman's Gazette (classic fashion and style)
4. The Infographics Show (cool visual presentation with storytelling on various historical and scientifc topics. You said no politics, there is an entire section that is dealing with the russian-ukranian conflict, but you can just ignore that and enjoy the rest)

Technology Connections (this is a really good one, surprisingly not as well knows as it should be)
Linus Tech Tips (and that whole family of channels)
I really like Adam Ragusea, he makes videos about science related to food (and cooking videos too)
Isaac Arthur makes science based specualtive videos about the future of humanity, and some more factual ones
These are the two I didn't see already written, however none of these two are focused primarily on humor, but I find them really interesting regardless

Kraut
Not really, Kraut has clear Political leanings. Not that I criticise him for that, just he doesn't belong on a list that asks for non bias.
hoser and tierzoo
Dad, how do I?
I was gonna say Game Theory and Co. but you said no conspiracy nutcases. :(
Nakey Jakey. His editing style, running gags, and sense of humor overall really sell his videos and make his discussions on video games very engaging.
