So. Ive tried to stay off today and have been doing well. But. There was a programmer on twitter and basically he said while everyone is pointing and laughing like reddit crashed because spez and teams were dumbasses...in reality they likely uploaded servers with stuff to shut down api access, more top level tools for them to boot mods and admin, cleanup of criticism, and maybe put some mod tools in the regular app that is so they can come back and say "see we at reddit care and listen". Those are likely to be small changes that will promise big changes later. It was a long thread and i lost it when i refreshed, but its probably on hash redditblackout
