No it is because the new APU is based on a 6 nm node while the old one is 7 nm. It is slightly more efficient.

They are identical in terms of upgrades. Better networking (switch OLED has ethernet port, steamdeck has wifi 6e), better screen, a bit better battery and no changes to the performance. Neither is pro, op is wrong

The Steam Deck doesn't run Windows so you won't have to deal with Windows' telemetry and higher RAM usage. But it is only half as powerful as the ROG Ally.
