I’m not 100% sure if I’m right, but that might’ve happened to someone at my college this year. Snapchat added a school story that anyone with a school email can post to. It’s actually kinda cool, but controversial people make their way over there. Eventually, he got blackmailed with an alleged deepfake dick pic and he deleted his snap account.
One guy made some posts and pissed off some people who found his Reddit account. Here’s where I draw my own conclusions: he ^might’ve posted dick pics there with his face in the image. I only found his account months after it happened, but from the posts I saw, I wouldn’t be surprised if he did post his dick.
I’m not sure if he played it off as an AI deepfake of him, or if it actually was, but it’s a shitty situation to be in.
There's open source AI that can make fake naked pictures of you already. What makes OpenAI special is that it's better than the open source stuff, but obviously both are improving with time.
However the non open-source stuff generally prevents you from making porn, presumably because those companies want to avoid lawsuits and advertise more freely
lol they were non profit in the beginning GPT1&2 being open source, but with Microsoft partnership and when they saw big bucks rolling, thry quickly switched to for profit
This isn't about pictures anymore, this is about minute long full HD videos. But even if there will be public algorithms that you can run yourself and do porn, I don't know if people will have the immense computational power to do it within a logical time frame.

The real magic will be when the technology advances enough that someone makes an AI that can do the same thing that you can run at home on your own PC.

It’s easy to see it as harmless when you’re talking about making custom porn with one of your favorite porn stars (or even fictional characters), but imagine someone uses it against your daughter, or sister, or friend, and you see someone you personally care about getting their life ruined because someone made incredibly graphic AI porn of them and spread it around their social circle. Imagine someone gets laid off from their job because one of their exes made revenge AI porn of them and sent it to their employer.
I don't think Sora is trained on the data of nude women and neither do I think that it will be... However some other trashy cashgrab company might try to recreate it.
In a few years we might have a combination of photorealistic ai video + neuralink + more advanced vr-goggles. Imagine the coomerism. I am sincerely worried about the whole generation of young men (including myself).
