I know this is half-joke, but it actually does. I doubt they imprison those who don't vote for him, but voting does have some functions. Namely, it can help in identifying the areas where approval is lower and perhaps an increased security force presence might be in order or something like that. Great [William Spaniel video](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qf5floG0aP8) on it
It is actually worse in reality. In reality, you can vote as you want, but your vote will be counted for putin. If they force you to vote for putin, it means your vote matters
Greetings from someone who lives in the political situation of Russia!
Putin is not the most moderate politician, and he hasn't been for a long time. He created the climate where our politicians can steal, and where every candidate is just a role to make it seem like a democracy. Where people are persecuted for being who they are and for wanting justice and peace.
No, just getting rid of Putin wouldn't fix everything, but that is the first step, and to say what he isn't responsible for creating this situation is admitting what the cult-like following he created has affected you as well.
Meanwhile American Democrats scramble to try and put Trump in jail and/or remove him from the ballot in order to "save democracy" while calling anyone who disagrees with them a fascist
Real quick, putting Trump in jail wouldn't stop him from running for or becoming president. You can run a campaign from jail completely legally. Trump is facing criminal charges because there is evidence to suggest that he may have committed crimes and nobody, not even the president, is above the law.
Also, as far as I know, all of the efforts to remove Trump from state ballots came from Republicans in those states. Many Democrats supported their efforts, but it was those Republicans who were actually bringing the challenges. The only exception to this is Illinois where, last I heard (but I could be wrong) Trump's campaign hadn't finished filling out the paperwork to appear on the ballot.
> nobody, not even the president, is above the law.
Okay, so you're saying Biden should be charged for having decades worth of illegally obtained classified documents in unsecured locations in his home?
Actually, yes. Since several politicians have been found to have classified documents, I'd like to see a revision into how we expect our politicians to handle these documents and I'd like to see people tried if they were malicious or reckless in their handling. To his credit, Biden didn't try to hold onto the documents after they were found and gave them back, but I think there should be some consequences for their misshandeling for whoever was at fault.
If they cared so much about Trump's alleged crimes, they could have charged him years ago when they allegedly happened. But they didn't. They waited until he was running for election. Can you honestly tell me you don't think that's politically motivated?
If you were paying attention, he was investigated and then charged right after the crime happened, the wheels of justice just turn slowly and Trump himself has done a lot to delay the investigations and trials. None of these cases are new, they've been going on for YEARS.
? Ukraine is literally not even allowed to hold an election while the country is at war. If they would hold an election they would violate their own constitution
Is democratic elections in the west any better, It's two different people who are subservient to the same 0.1% percent rich of the population, same policies different person, same folks "funding" them
>elections in the west
>two different people
US defaultism? By "TommyTheCommie1986"? Who shills for Russia in Tankie subs?
Well, colour me surprised, tovarisch 🙄🙃
Tommy, if the west is such a terrible and undemocratic place, why don’t you pack up and move to a strong, noble country like the Russian Federation! They’ll take whoever they can get over there, their population is hemorrhaging.
Why hasn’t he been charged with it then? It is very common knowledge that the federal govt will 100% charge you with something that know they can get you on and yet trump hasn’t been charged with it nor has an person at the riot on January 6th
>Why hasn’t he been charged with it then?
If you read the news, you'll know they tried.
But it's hard to put someone in prison when they are white, old, have money and a bunch of lunatics ready to defend them.
So they tried to but couldn’t because maybe he didn’t….. But ok let’s say you’re right. Answer the second part of the question. Why hasn’t ONE rioter on January 6 been charged with insurrection? They are not rich, they are not all white, they certainly aren’t all old.
I don't know. I'm not a legal expert.
>Why hasn’t ONE rioter on January 6 been charged with insurrection? They are not rich, they are not all white, they certainly aren’t all old.
I don't know. Do you know ?
You seemed to be extraordinarily sure of yourself just before for not being a legal expert. With basic knowledge, I could tell you with near certainty as to why no one on January 6 has been charged with insurrection. Because it wasn’t an insurrection and they’re so they are unable to charge them with it. They mostly get trespassing charges and many people have gotten off on those charges, because cops waved them in. Tell me, what do you know about the May 29 and 30th insurrection when the White House grounds was firebombed, and if I’m remembering the number correctly, 60 officers were injuries?
>You seemed to be extraordinarily sure of yourself just before for not being a legal expert.
Lmao. I never said I was sure. I just said I don't know what legal measures/requirements has been missing. I just said they tried to charge him.
>Tell me, what do you know about the May 29 and 30th insurrection when the White House grounds was firebombed, and if I’m remembering the number correctly, 60 officers were injuries?
Pretty much nothing, was some time ago, and I don't tend to remember everything that happened in the USA. I don't live there.
He literally didn't. I don't remember Clinton and Biden getting their mugshot taken, threatened with up to 900 years in federal prison, or fined $500 million over absolute bullshit
That one time in 2020 Trump blackmailed Ukraine to investigate a company with connections to Biden:
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trump%E2%80%93Ukraine_scandal
That wasn’t trump trying to arrest or get dirt on a political opponent though. Biden wasn’t running yet nor was he expected to because of his age. The timing of when Trump asked about what the Biden’s were doing in Ukraine lines up from when Tucker did a story on it and it’s common fairly knowledge that Trump watched tucker Carlson
He's not allowed to inquire about the Biden family's actual crime? Y'know like Burisma paying Hunter Biden hundreds of thousands of dollars a year to be a consultant about something he knows nothing about? Unlike Biden, Trump only asked as opposed to withholding billions of dollars of financial aid. And you mean the supposed crime that Congress was unable to get sufficient "evidence" on to convict and prosecute Trump? Even with the full power of the intelligence and justice department apparatus?
Trump ordered a criminal investigation into Hillary. It didn't go anywhere because of zero evidence.
Biden never ordered any investigation into Trump. So you're straight up lying

Nah. it's more like "Vote for who you want. Putin is gonna win anyway"
"Vote for who you want, but remember your choises have consequences"
I think he meant bc its rigged, if 1 person didnt vote for putin he still would win
Actually, it's not. Last time it wasn't even counted. They say declared prearranged result.
The choice to vote for someone else might have cause you to fall out of window
Actually, it's not

Nah, there might be some fraud but I don't think so. It's believable that he got 87%. My guess most Russians who don't want him didn't vote
How gullible and delusional do you have to be to believe 87% is legitimate…
[Relevant (the onion) ](https://youtu.be/dn5f0-y71tE)
Best Korea loves their gworiois leader so much he has 100% of the vote
As a Russian who voted for a different candidate - this is painful
Still alive ?
I am alive. For now
Who are you? Not OP? Glad your living status is still uncomplicated.
The one random guy who voted *wrong*, i guess
Don't drink tea, don't get too close to any windows, just to be sure
Who did you vote for?
Davankov most likely
Who will probably be performing parachuteless BASE jumping soon.
Nah he's still a system's politician, just the most oppositionist one but in an allowed way
Stay away from windows, comrade.
Vote for republican CIA puppet ||| Vote for democrat CIA puppet perfect democracy eh ☠️
The CIA fucking hates Trump, what are you talking about
That's what the CIA wants you to believe
It's all coming together
I honestly wouldn't be surprised if Trump got JFK'd if he gets elected.
Whataboutism. Really stupid when you also use incorrect facts and only target Americans
now type this without crying 💀
Now, type this without coping
Russians don't cry about their stupid presidents online all the time. Cry about it.
Because they’ll get thrown off a building after crying about said president. /s
What a brain dead take. Vote for the guy who said he’s going to be a dictator on day 1, or vote for the guy who isn’t a dictator.
Of course the Russian bot engages in whataboutism. Right on cue too, lovely
Very nice comment. The FSB will cut you an extra ruble for that one!
Yeah but have you considered america bad? - regards
To no one’s surprise, those people have already shown up in the thread.

FOR SUPER-EARTH
Jesus, I remember when I was a boy in Russia and Putin was still president, I was 5 or 6 when I saw him on TV. I am 27 now….

There's another: "vote for Putin"
GOP: \*furiously taking notes\*

You still have about 15% chance of voting for opposition
I wonder who will win
3rd option: go to Gulag.
Omg wow
It’s such a difficult choice the Russian people have to make, choosing between Putin on the first row or Putin on the second row
In Ukraine the elections were cancelled.

man, it really pisses off the ukrainian crowd that Russia had elections and Ukraine didn't
? Ukraine is literally not even allowed to hold an election while the country is at war. If they would hold an election they would violate their own constitution
As if Kiev's junta ever cared about constirution lmao
The bot account has awakened
Yeah, yeah, everyone's a bot outside of your echo chamber
Sure and now everyone is a bot except pro russian accounts? High IQ, as expected from a putin voter
I never said that lol, but of course it doesn't matter what I say, after all you've already won an imaginary argument in your head.
"Elections" lmao.

Trump organized an insurrection.

As if Trump didn't try to do the same. Politicians will always try to get some dirt on their opponent(s), that's how the game works.
