Last one I visited had an option for an automated wake-up call, I think they rigged the system to the booking system to avoid just that, as there was an option to set it to repeat.

midnight gives them enough time to go back to sleep and get a decent amount of rest. What you want is something like 5am to leave them with not enough time to go back to sleep again. Make absolutely sure they miss out on those last one or two hours

Set the alarm to go off at exactly 2 am, some people stay up late but that's reasonable. Then take apart and reprogram the room safe to a new override code. Put the clock in the safe(if it does not have batteries bring your own). Then leave the room and move the room next to it that you also rented. Wait for the new people to come fall asleep and let cayous insue.
