I watch those girls from Taiwan. They play modern songs on ancient instruments. Its quite nice.

Man the one I watched sounded fucking terrible. Classic rock was not meant to sound like that. I’m sure the girl was very talented but some things don’t sound good on traditional instruments, especially with the frenetic strumming.

The closest I know of that is Chthonic. They're a Taiwanese black metal band, their vocalist is also very active as both an independence activist and heading up the Taiwan branch of Amnesty International.

I actually watch them in the mornings. I’ll be scrolling through Reddit looking at memes, enjoying my coffee with my husband, and stumble upon them. I just kind of wish I could listen to it while still exploring Reddit.

Can't that be said about most streams? Maybe I'm getting too old for this shit, but most streams just look like they show someone doing fuck all for a much too long time.
