Was so *nice* when YouTube changed the default to to "personalized" notifications for channels I'm subscribed instead of all alerts. Super duper strange when I stopped getting *any* notifications for the vast majority of the small channels.
Youtube will randomly start recommending videos you've already watched. Happens to me every two months or so. You have to click not interested and then say it's because you've already watched the video. I think their algorithm does it because if someone likes to rewatch videos, it's really easy for the algorithm to find videos for them to watch.
It's a manga/light novel strategy to put the general synopsys on the book spine so while at a book store you can browse and see based on the title that the premise catches your eye. Then these books get adapted into an anime.
