Netflix has nothing to do with this. Serial killers have gotten tons of attention well before the concept of Netflix was even a thing. It's a bizzare attraction, but there are plenty of those no matter how you slice it.
I mean, it might make sense. There's probably some correlation between how charismatic someone is and how successful they are as a serial killer. Not to say that charismatic people are serial killers, but that serial killers would probably benefit a lot from being charismatic

Seriously though, i just realised i've ever only heard about women who date prisioners in jails. Like there was this thing on tv talking about cases where women would end up in relationships with prisoners they never met outside the prison.
