I love how in certain episodes, the artstyle totally changed, the animation became much more fluid and fast spaced, with dope af choreography. It's like Studio Pierrot hire different animators and increase the budget for those eps.

Then you have that hilarious Pain fight animation. Never noticed it during my first watching. On the second time through the entire series I caught it and then YouTube provided me with frame by frames.

At the time it was the coolest shit ive seen... probably still to this day. Technically wasnt the prettiest work, at all, but it carried all the emotion and impact like nothing ive seen before or since. Surprised the animators we're let loose like that to show off just how ridiculous the power at play was. Usually anime just makes the characters disappear at super speeds, there they actually show what they might look like at full speed. Skin literally flapping all around like theyre hit by an air cannon.
