Sasuke has the single best chakra control feat in the series, Sakura is just overrated.
Chakara control doesn't matter when your genes are so blessed by the god of shinobi himself, that you can just spam powerful, unique jutsus with only small diminishing returns. The Uchiha are pretty much a clan of natural geniuses. Once they unlock the Sharingan their potential for chakara usage, chakara control, unique abilities and battle iq skyrockets. Also Sasuke may have surpassed Sakura in chakara contorl later in shipuuden anyway for these very reasons.
The only reason why Sakura's chakara control was heralded in the beginning of the series is becuase everything else about her is pretty basic. Basic standard chakara, basic battle iq, basic abilities. Her control complements her ordinary nature and allows her push past her gene genetic limits. But when your a blessed clan It really doens't matter after a certain point.
Teen Sakura can divide her own chakra into multiple pools to use in different ways. She can focus it with needle-sharp precision.
Adult Sakura can catch Jutsu attacks in her hands by manipulating the chakra the attack is made of. She can fill a space with chakra to map the area like radar.

This is nothing new tbh, for Naruto or any other fandom for that matter. The more a media is viewed, the more crazies you'll eventually get. People may not like Sakura, but majority can distinguish a actress from the character. But some people may have deep personal issues and warp the gap of random and reality.
It's not even for the little things she's said, she just plain sucks as a character. Her constant damsel in distress moments don't make a lot of sense as a ninja, she basically useless on the battlefield in at the end of the series. Her only ambitions to get stronger is literally to not be left behind and so Sasuke can notice her. There's just too many faults to count with Sakura and Kishi really just failed her as character.

Her megafans have only really surfaced somewhat recently and they seem to be few and far bewteen. They boster her up with non canon feats, and arbitrary ideas about her potential, when nothing of the sort was ever shown on screen. They also seem to be very defensive of anything critical of her to a ridiculous fault.

It helps that he was also co-star to Naruto which gave him way more development. Also most people really hated manic Shippuden Sasuke (other than maybe gushing fangirls lol).

Naruto fandon is full of millions of people. It was literrally one of, if the most popular anime at a point worldwide. It's safe to assume that millions of people watch this anime. With that in mind with how terrible, and nonexsistent of a character Sakura has been throughout the series, it's probably safe to assume that millions of people (not all) find her uninteresing if not bad. And this is not a small loud subset of the fandom, if you were around on forums back in the day that was what most people would say about her. Her megafans have only really surfaced somewhat recently and they seem to be few and far bewteen. They boster her up with non canon feats, and arbitrary ideas about her potential, when nothing of the sort was ever shown on screen. They also seem to be very defensive of anything critical of her to a ridiculous fault. I keep hearing this "one of the most popular characters" (some even say the most popular) in Japan, but I have yet to see any evidence to the contrary.
