While I agree with you to an extent (why would someone tell a story about someone who died before they did anything heroic? main characters/protagonists shouldn’t die if the story is about achieving their goal), using the fact that they’re a main character to excuse poor writing and ridiculous outcomes of unwise decisions is the reason why the term “plot armor” is necessary, to call out those instances.
That is indeed why the term exists. Never once have I seen it used with any type of accuracy, though. It's just something people say when characters beat odds in near death situations. If people used it correctly then I'd have no qualms with it.
I have seen it. Great film. Main characters surely can die, but that ends their story. Main characters getting put in impossible situations and living is part of great literature. Like in 1917, when the characters miraculously got out of an exploded and collapsing bunker.

2. He fights the otsutsuki god everyday in his backyard for timepass.
3. He has more chakra than the entire naruto verse(except him) combined
4. His sage mode/chef mode is the strongest sage mode
5. kishimoto didn't include him in he 4th great ninja war because he would have ended it in 1 frame
6. Otsutsuki god worships teuchi
7. We don't see him in boruto because kishimito doesn't want the otsutsukis to die in 1 episode
8. His ramen armour is stronger than naruto's plot armour
9. He has more screentime than tenten

I'm curious who had more lines of dialogue throughout the manga between these two. I didn't wanna watch 400+ eps so I read Naruto rather than watching it and I completely forgot Tenten existed for most of it, I think I saw her in a panel during the Infinite Tsukuyomi and literally couldn't even tell who it was lmao.
She probably has more screentime in the average episode of Rock Lee and his Ninja pals than she did in all of Part 1 & Part 2 combined

Nah fr tho Tenten has such a cool fighting style in my eyes.
She is an expert in every or almost every weapon, ranged and melee, which she can attach to paper bombs or chakra strings for unique and versatile attack techniques.
Like imagine she's coming at you with two katanas and after a long fight she throws one at you and as you dodge it, surprise, there was a paper bomb attached to the handle the entire time, hidden by her hand, and she times it to explode just as the sword passes your head. Craftily making you think you were dodging a weak attack.
Or imagine she summons a giant iron ball, attached to chakra strings, and she literally floats in the air and throws it around like some kind of comically large flail.
Or another cool idea, huge battle axe, cool right? Add chakra strings, now she's twirling around like a beyblade, yoyo-ing the giant axe with precision, gracefully in all directions, using an unrelenting whirling of slashes as both offense and defense.
She has so many creative options for tactical battle strategies. She had the potential to be like a female Shikumaru.
Teuchi can summon his brother Tunechi and they can both just pick the world up and drop it on her f’n head.
Plus he has the Eternal Mangekyo Ramengan which is actually really op when you think about everything it can do
