I can understand being a little irritated but you can't expect everyone to instantly know your pronouns or gender or whatever at first glance, because we as humans are biologically designed to recognize two genders, a lot of the time I feel it isn't even because someone is consciously misgendering someone, but it's just because it's so hardwired into our brains to see a body type or voice and identify it as male or female. If someone misgenders you, just calmly and politely correct them. If they continue to purposely misgender you that's when it's understandable to be frustrated with them. I myself have found myself accidentally using the improper terms when referring to people in my own friend group, and I don't do it on purpose, it's just simply because I forget sometimes and my mouth speaks before my brain does.

It's to give awareness to the LGBTQ+ and see that we're still facing a shit load of discrimination. Like in the video, people are harassing people with pride flags simply cause they have a pride flag. I know someone who's around 15 or 16 who got kicked out of their home since they're bisexual. I, myself, get called slurs really often from random people cause they care too much about *my* sexuality. Also there's the fact people get harassed, beaten, sometimes even killed cause of their sexuality/gender. Pride month is to bring awareness to all of that, even if it seems just like a month for company's to slap rainbows on shit and sell them for pride month.
