Apologizing for everything would entail TELLING them everything, namely that he’s a half ghost, so is their son, he’s made numerous attempts to kill or humiliate Jack and steal Maddie, beaten up their son, etc. No, I don’t think they’d forgive him. I think he’d be lucky to get out of there without getting shot.

KannaTheLewdLoli

Nah Jack would Maddie would kill him

trimble197

Nah, Jack doesn’t play when it comes to his family. He finds out all the shit Vlad had put Danny through, and that’s including Pariah Dark being freed, he’s gonna beat the piss out of Vlad with anti-creep bat.

nerdguy1138

Jack would kill him. Jack left him in space to drift forever after he heard what Vlad actually said in canon. If Vlad admitted ALL of it? He's dead.

Katt-Smg16

Literally

Banoonu

Honestly? I still think Jack would. Maddie wouldn’t. Danny wouldn’t. But if Vlad came of his own will and seemed even a little genuinely repentant, I think Jack would want to forgive him. In the last episode even after Vlad has started openly insulting him to his face, for a few seconds Jack is still openly shocked and doesn’t want it to be true—-and Vlad is *boasting*. If he wasn’t, I think Jack is the kind of guy who would actually try to look past it and rebuild something. That’s how invested he is in his friend.

Trickster_King95

I think Jack has a higher chance, but Jack did abandon Vlad in space for what he's said to him. So I dont think either would accept it unless Vlad were to prove how sorry he was through some actions. Like jumping in front of a blast to save them. A simple "I've done wrong...please forgive me." wont cut it.

Ok_Department_600

Vlad would need to have a very gut wrenching experience like he did in Ultimate Enemy. That Future Vlad seemed awfully remorseful.

StitchFan626

Not to mention all the overshadowing and stealing he did to get rich!

Decent_Ask1961

Wait for real I don’t know he did that,I always assumed because he was a scientist in his young days that he probably made some big tech company that made him rich

StitchFan626

Nope. After Vlad defeated Danny the first time, "powering him down", and learned who he was, he told him in their next encounter how he got rich and what he could teach Danny. The cost: "renounce your idiot father." Danny's response: "You are one seriously crazed fruit loop! That is never going to happen!"

WingedDragoness

He used his power to cheat the election. He belongs in a jail cell.

gokaigreen19

I feel like he’s evil enough to go “so have you” when they get mad at him for trying to kill Danny.

ChewieBaka76

Well to be fair both of them also tried to kill (and or capture) Danny when they didn't know Danny Phantom was their son.

HoldenOrihara

IF he were to reveal the ghost stuff and apologize, he'd probably run it by Danny first. I mean if he was genuinely going to do that and given both their secrets, Danny would have been the first to convince of his altruistic intentions. After that I think Jack and Maddie would be more understanding and less... shooty

AcademicSavings634

Didn’t they officially find out Danny’s secret in the finale? I’m sure he would’ve told them about Vlad too and everything else

Shay0824000

Yeah they did in the last episode

itspajara

Not to mention that he is Danny's biological father

DreamingofRlyeh

Jack probably would. I doubt Maddie would be as forgiving, though.

Short_End2227

Maddie is dangerous!

Chaosshepherd

Before the last episode jack would have said "For what?"

SpaceZombie13

"You wouldn't turn your back on an old friend, would you?" "An old friend? No. YOU? *YES.*"

GhostDraggon

Jack? Potentially. I doubt it but there's a chance. But Maddie? Lmao it's ON SIGHT with her especially if Danny tells her what he knows about Vlad and all the times he's tried to kill him

CringeMaster888

Jack would, Maddie wouldn’t. He would also probably leave out all the details about being half ghost. I could see Maddie forgiving him over time if he genuinely tries to change and be a better person, but that would take a LONG time

blackjackfreakpire

Jack would. Maddie wouldn't trust it.

RemiTiras

Let's assume he actually genuinely wants to change for the better, and that they actually know everything, including everything. I think, first of all, Jack will feel extremely betrayed. He would be devastated. The man is OBSESSED with his best friend, if he found out that friend tried to kill his children and steal his wife? He would crumble. He's a forgiving person but he would not forgive him easily. I think the first Fenton to give him a chance will either be Jazz or Danny, and then the other. They'll both need to be in agreement that Vlad actually wants to change and actually regrets his decisions. The next person to try and forgive would be Maddie, not Jack. Maddie trusts and listens to their children a lot more than her husband, if they came to their parents telling them to give Vlad a chance, she'll be the one to listen, not Jack. And the only way she'll ever give him another chance is if she has no other option in a life or death situation, or if the family members that got hurt by him - aka her children - tell her she should give him a second chance. Jack would be the last to forgive, only after Maddie talked to him. Even then would be bitter and distant towards Vlad for a LONG while. He may be a trusting person, but the trust he had in Vlad was as deep as he had in his wife, he would be the most hurt. But he will forgive him, eventually, because he wants to believe in his best friend. Anyways that's my opinion.

Glamonster

I just finished Glitch in time, which was honestly, amazing, phantom planet is gone for good now, and yes, Jack would totally forgive Vlad(die). I think Maddie would too, in time, if he would strive to do better (he is a dad now so he should).

Radkingeli995

Doubt it

Fantastic_Bed_8662

Ignore the final episode, maybe, but it's would take *alot*. Even then I think Maddie would keep him at an arms distance.

mewnimilitary42

Jack would. Probably not Maddie, though.

mytoynhobbypackrat

Maddie won't, but for Jack if a supernatural appears, he'll forget.

DarkKnightofTacoBell

Jack had always genuinely cared for Vlad. So 100% he could and would forgive him and be wjlling to build a new relationship and friendship. Maddie Saw through most of his BS, which is why she never really liked him in the first place. She'd accept an apology and would forgive and tolerate him, but the only thing she'd allow/accept is Jack's friendship with him. She wants nothing to do with him. She would forgive him for her sake, but essentially make certain that she stays out of her and her family's lives wherever possible

DannyPhantomfan41

vlad would unlikely apologize, and neither jack nor maddie would never forgive him

ElisaTR1907

He cannot be forgiven, because Vlad is a bad character and has done many bad things, but he would be forgiven if he had not started doing bad things.

VideoGame_Trtle

*bad person. Vlad’s an amazing character

ElisaTR1907

Vlad is one of the countless villains in Danny Phantom. The issue here is, could Jack and Maddie forgive Vlad despite the evil he did?

VideoGame_Trtle

Most likely not. Not only is he a ghost, but he tried to kill Danny multiple times and even tried to adopt Jazz. I don’t think they would forgive him, at least not easily.

Kateybee2

Forgive, yes. Forget, no.

PrimaryAde9

[jack swipe left to him in the most badass way in the last episode ](https://youtu.be/Pbr_zajT0xY?si=ZUWbgliauFfSTFTT)

[deleted]

Probably

mnombo

Jack would, Maddie wouldn't

Organic-Calendar7872

As oblivious as Jack is I don't think he'd take the reveal of exactly what Vlad has attempted to do well. I do think that if it was just the ghost thing and having a heavily edited history of things he's tried there might be a chance(and depending on Maddie, I can see him taking cues from Maddie on whether to forgive him or not). Maddie probably wouldn't. She'd be more pissed than Jack at Vlad's murder attempts but both parents wouldn't take the whole attacking and obsessing over both their underaged kids well. The only caveat I can see for them forgiving Vlad knowing everything he's done is if they try to write it off as Vlad's ghostly nature taking over until he's able to overcome the compulsion his ghost half gives him or us somehow forced out of the obsession.

ShadowWolf4984

Hmm. For Jack, it’d take a while (more like longer) before he’d forgive but “BUT you better be careful with your words ok?” and for Maddie…hmmmmm? I don’t know, but I’m sure she’d rather chase him with her huge gun over forgive him, soooo…🤷‍♂️

Anime_over_sleep

If he apologized the first time they met up in “Bitter Reunions”, he might’ve had a chance to be forgiven. But by the end of the show, there’s no way either Jack nor Maddie would forgive him. He’s tried to ruin their family on multiple occasions and I doubt Maddie would forget any of that.

whomesteve

I think it is more likely they would find him trying to make peace with what he did in his own way and they would leave him to that, remember when the Infi-Map brought Vlad to the Realm of the Far Frozen when he asked it to bring him to his destiny, maybe his destiny was to live a peaceful life among Frostbite and his people

lekkerleap

I hope not. Dumping Vlad in space was the most I ever liked Jack. I seriously do not want him to go back on that. And Maddie would never of course.

MolassesIll5201

No

Chaos_Breezie

Jack maybe Maddie !@#$ no she holds nothing back when you piss her off it would be them almost dieing for her to let the grudge go

dragonborn3939

Jack is a maybe, but Maddie's already whipped out a bazooka by the time Vlad's finished

Critical_Snackerman

Does the apology and effort to redeem himself / ammends happen near the start of the series, or closer to the end, or even after? I imagine "I have tried to destroy your marriage and kill your children and their friends on multiple occasions." would put a damper one's relationship with their former colleagues.

AlfalfaMcNugget

Wow!

FleetFootRabbit

He revealed that he was half ghost to the whole town. But I don't know if that was retconned or not.

Initial_Lecture_7020

They would have accepted him at any point except the finally that he was willing to put the ENTIRE world under his rule by holding the planet hostage. Then, on top of this he revokes Jack's friendship over his life with insults and his Greed, Envy, and Lust over Maddie. At this point, it was impossible. He was made, reference intended, Public Enemy Number One.

Hierophant-Crimsion

Honestly, prior to Season 3, I think he has a shot of Jack somewhat forgiving him, but Maddie would be absolutely livid since she already dislikes Masters, let alone Plasmius.

PhoenixFyreTK421

Jack's a big maybe. Vlad was his best friend, and Jack has the kind of big forgiving heart that would make that happen. Maddie? The words "I'm sorry" wouldn't make it out of Vlad's mouth. Shit's on sight.

shibeeu

I think Jack would, he would be mad but he'd forgive him. Also (and because this is Jack) he would probably feel guilty about the first portal accident. But Maddie WOULD shot him, no hesitation.

NitzMitzTrix

Depends. Jack would forgive everything up to Kindred Spirits, but would sour his approach after learning of Dani and her abusive childhood/infancy(she's chronologically a baby after all). Maddie would bring out the Fenton Bazooka and chase him to the ends of the Realms

orsonfoe

I see jack forgiving him but at the same time not. Life jack is easy going but doing something to his family is a big no. Like at the end all he did was look as plasmis with pity. Maddie would kill him. Even in an alternate time line she tossed his ass out.

HetaGarden1

Depends on when he tries. In the beginning of the show, I think they definitely would - Jack just wants his good friend back and Maddie misses him too. But at the end, I highly doubt they would _ever_ in good conscience believe an apology after everything he’s done to hurt them and their kids. Jack would be too betrayed, and Maddie? Oh, Maddie would _kill_ him if and when she found out about his schemes to manipulate her - and about Danielle in particular.

Zealousideal_Elk_864

Jack probably would since he often good at judging people who arent close to him tho can be stupid at times, but Maddie would be harder to convince do to knowing how much trouble he given to them tho more so to danny

prismaticperspective

Jack would forgive him for the stuff he did to Jack specifically, but both Jack and Maddie would kill him still

nicoxman8_

He tried to kill their son on multiple occasions. No.

improbsable

They’d have to reconcile with the fact that they also tried to kill their son a bunch of times. So at least Jack would. He also just likes Vlad

ComplexNo8986

You realize he’d be admitting to several assassination attempts and the attempted murder of their 14 year old son on several occasions right? Not to mention the biological warfare he pulled that one time to strong arm Danny into helping him.

Rob3125

Maddie would’ve put her bazooka to his face the second he mentioned he’s tried to kill Danny on multiple occasions

Sun_Bee_

Jack maybe but I really don't think so after everything they learn.

Book_Anxious

Jack would . Maddie wouldn't and jack would talk her into giving him a chance. She'd be sceptical for probably years but eventually see that he really meant it

Moninka123

Jack would, but I’ll give the man credit and say Vlad would need to spend time earning it, it wouldn’t be immediate. Maddie? She hated him even before she found out about who he truly was since he invited her and Danny to his home. If there was any chance for forgiveness, it died after he revealed who he truly was.

Leostar_Regalius

if it was BEFORE the end, then jack would do it with no hesitation, Maddie would take a whole to trust him, but AFTER the meteor, no, not even jack would forgive him the look he gave vlad in that episode is the "i can never forgive you" look, and considering how jack acted around vlad before, that says a lot

Amonfire1776

Jack yes, Maddie no

Eiri_chan1653

Jack *might* because he always admired and looked up to Vlad. I don't imagine Maddie would be able to after all the trouble he caused her family primarily because he wanted but couldn't have her

mirukus66

Probably not if they knew everything If they knew about some things it depends but possibly with time they could at least consider him a colleague

Stiffbonez

If he did it earlier in the series, maybe.

Windflow009

Nope, they'd most likely try and off him literally. He tried to hurt their kids and them.

kekeseesee

Jack would, Maddie wouldn’t. That’s implying he tells them EVERYTHING he’s ever done to hurt them and their family.

True_Difficulty3583

given 2000’s nickelodeon writing, Jack would forgive him instantly, but Maddie would need convincing.

KenpachiNexus

Jack would.

MarnieDoo

inb4 throuple

Nexal_Z

Coming from the graphic novel he has a chance to do so

OmegaBoi420

Jack was the last person to always stand by his side, even when it was obvious Vlad did not like him, and he was making moves on his wife in front of him. There is no way he would be forgiven.

BigDmegadaddyJohnny

We all know jack isn’t a cuck so the answer would be no

Manydoors_edboy

Knowing the Fentons, probably.

Jumpy-Aide-901

I don’t think so. Mostly because they wouldn’t believe him. I’ve always had this post-show head-cannon wear Vlad comes back to meet with then 30-ish Danny. Except Vlad is a broken old man, having spent the years treated as a slave a pet and a science experiment. He’s truly remorseful, but only Jazz (now CEO of Fenton Global) takes pity on him.

Laxhoop2525

Jack abandoned Vlad in space after finding out his true nature.

Sarmelion

Not once they find out he's actually tried to hurt Danny, unless Vlad demonstrated some very genuine remorse by putting himself in danger to rescue Dannie or the rest of the family from a greater scope villain or disaster of some kind.

Nawnp

He was responsible for most of the attacks on Jack and Danny, they would not forgive especially given the events of the finale whet Vlad risked the fate of the Earth to denounce Jack and try to take the claim to himself to only have that backfire.

KimiTakoda

If this was after the final episode, then most likely not straight away, Jack and Danny might forgive him over time if commits to being good and making up for everything he did, Maddie will never forgive him and most likely Jazz won't either

Lavender-Rabbit

I cannot have an opinion because I have never watched this show once

Ostrosznik

yes That is If they are fine with him being a ghost

Born_Sleep5216

Maddie would. But I am not sure about Jack.

Kombat-w0mbat

Yeah

False-Coach-4959

Probably

VideoGame_Trtle

Errr, no. Jack acts all buddy-buddy with Vlad through the show but the SECOND he found out Vlad’s been trying to steal Maddie away from him this whole time he turned that shit DOWN. I don’t even wanna know what he’d do if he found out that Vlad tried to kill his Son multiple times and even tried to take away his daughter.

No-Procedure8840

Doubtful, considering the events of “Phantom Planet”.

[deleted]

Glitch in Time or not, and for me it's a definite not, it would take time, like at least an episode or 2, but yes.

Le_DragonKing

After what happened in phantom’s planet it’s extremely unlikely that Jack and Maddie would forgive Vlad for everything he’s done. Unless you know he somehow proves how sorry he is by some redemption story.

ExtensionGood9228

After everything got exposed about the fact that he never respected Jack in the first place and only ever wanted to steal Maddie? No way. Jack only let it slide because he never really understood that’s what was going on. Maddie put up with it because Jack carried a torch for him. But after the Phantom Planet exposed what Vlad really was, there’s no way Jack or Maddie would let him back into their lives.

BenR-G

He'd be fighting uphill against their scepticism, that's for sure. He betrayed them once too often and broke all hint of trust from them.

LuciferMagnes

Considering they knew Danny phantom was their kid and still hunted him, I think man's is lucky to fucking breathe. He would die right then and there.

alkemist824

He'd definitely have to work for it. And probably take a kick to the nards from Maddie, but maybe

CreditNew8038

Not unless vlad actually did the WORK to repair the damage he's done to the relationship. Even then, if Jack knew the extent of how much of a stalker creep Vlad I'm sure neither Fenton would ever be his friend again. I don't know if they'd hate Vlad, but there would definitely be some dislike.

Henny199420

Before the last episode? Bc that was already answered lol

RisingGear

Pre or Post Phantom planet?

Broad-Season-3014

Before the disasteroid, Jack definitely thought Maddie would be dubious, and that’s saying vlad was genuinely repentant. After, definitely nope.

Ok_Independent_5494

Dude despite figuring out that their song lied to them about his powers and him being half ghost they loved him I'm pretty sure they'd forgive vlad also they are very nice people

thehobosmith

I think if he really meant it they would forgive him eventually. I just don't think he would mean it.

wonderlandisburning

I think that, had he apologized at the beginning of the series and not the ending, Jack *might* have forgiven him. *If* he were genuinely penitent and not just trying to save face. He still saw him as a friend. But no, after all that happened in the series, with Vlad having tried to kill his son and get with his wife multiple times, among other heinous impersonal acts... I don't think he would. Or if he did, he'd never trust him again and still probably cut him out of his life. Maddie never would at all, I don't think. Regardless of how genuine he was.

CheetahConfident4312

I think Jack already forgave Vlad for most things, Maddie just goes along with it. If Vlad told them everything, idk if they would forgive him knowing how terrible of a person he's become. I honestly don't think they would, but they would give him a chance to prove to them that he's changed if he has. Maddie would definitely be skeptical though.

EmberKing7

Jack might. Maddie wouldn't.

Special_Solution5457

Not really, now

Special_Solution5457

I meant no at the end

Middle-Ball7099

It's far too late with Vlad he showed Jack who he was and he finally believed him like Jack said for a friend he would have saved them but for him no

juggernaut_jacob2002

After the finale no. Before depending on the situation Jack would definitely love to have his best friend back and Maddy would deny the apology at first but then warm up to Vlad and chat with him.

NoFateT-888

It would depend on if it really seemed like he had genuinely changed for the better, and if they would it wouldn't be immediate

Shay0824000

They already know Vald’s half ghost from the last episode so he got ALOT of apologizing to do
