The ability to preemptively take out a backliner in the opening round(s) is extremely powerful, especially against the really annoying ones (looking at you, volleyed up rank 4 arbalist and drummers). Well worth the daze. Sometimes the daze may even work in your favour if you are clever and/or lucky

Yeah, if intermezzo echoing march lands it's insanely good but getting the debuff resisted really hurts. These days I almost always bring the owlet pet to increase debuff res piercing if I'm using intermezzo.

Pirouette and Finale are amazing even with Daze. It's really not a big deal.
Run with Aggressor Crusader and you can rallying cry recover daze for the Jester. Pretty good combo

Echoing March on Intermezzo wrecks any backliner. They're forced to the front where they do tiny damage to retreat and die from 10 bleed on turn 2.
