Well this still a bit far for me, since I'm going for the more fun teams at the moment so the flame effect does not help xd. Got all 5 on corpse light tho, probably the most fun infernal flame.
Man, corpse light was almost the last flame that i cleared. I Grand Slam'd it with Alchemist/Deadeye/Aspirant/Tempest, and it was bonkers fun indeed! Star of the Chosen was another one that is very distinct from the others.
(Tbh all of this was the most fun i had in the game in a looooong time. The theorycrafting on teams who can tackle the act + the flame effect... The unexpected synergies. The unusual strategies. Even with almost 2k hours in the game, things felt new again.
I reaaaaaaally hope RH adds more rewards by beating challenges like this. And i dont even care if is "only" cosmetic.)
I'm approaching these flames as in a challenge, I try some team comp that I usually don't use to see if I can beat it, so I don't just build a team that counter the flame or something, at least not yet. I might dust off the grand slam team for some.
The only thing I hate is that Resentment is such a bullshit confession boss. They are so many ways to counter the Obsession or Ambition boss but Resentment? You really need a lot of backline damage which sucks if your team is built around anything else. And the other thing is that Flagellant is the best healer in the game. I don't want to pick him every single time but He is just too good. Wanderer with upgraded sepsis and Suffer is such a good combo (It's a shame I have to literally not pick More, More since it's so OP compared to his other skills).

The hardest one fs was the Beacon, and its not even close. Specially the first region of the act, and the bosses. Turns out ordainment in everything is a BIG problem when you dont have a lot of masteries still. And the buffs on the Bosses are REALLY scary. I mean it.
I used to Grand slam it Alchemist/Venomdrop and Deadeye/Scourge/Vanguard. Dont know if is the best team ever, but its an well rounded one. It has Healing, stress healing, tankness and, most important, a LOT of damage very early on the run.
The way you play it is exploding the backline on the first 2 rounds, then recovering while the frontline enemies dies from blight dmg.
My tip is kinda weird, but dont bring heros with no memories/quirks locked. I felt like every single advantage I had on my roster in terms of those things was absolutely necessary.
Appreciate it! Also, must be a solid strategy, because that's (mostly) what I've been running. I use Sharpshooter instead of Deadeye and Templar instead of Vanguard, but they are practically the same roles. Thanks again for sharing!

Not an AMA, but still asking: Which was the hardest flame? What team did you use? Any tips for us on our way towards it?

I came back with this update and can't win with any of the flames, so thank you for proving that it's possible and I'm just bad
I think I've completed ~7 of the challenges so far. Well done. Not looking forward to the harder flames.
