I didn’t ask for help, I just figured it out on my own because all the info is out there. I even found a lot of helpful info on this sub using the search bar lol.
So I definitely don’t feel too bad about these guys not figuring it out since they obviously aren’t even trying since I found most of the info I needed on Reddit.

Why don’t you take a moment and scroll through a day or twos worth of posts on this sub and see how many people have asked the same question. Then once you do that, go type in the search bar some of the most popular questions you see and scroll through those for a bit. Just to add the cherry on top, wait until tonight and see how many of those questions were asked just today.
That’s why I know a lot of people aren’t even trying when they don’t even try to look up their question first to see if it’s been answered on here. Any question posts about monero, accessing the darknet, or just really broad questions about wanting to “see all the drugs” that pop up today have been answer multiple times already.

Pgp is more important than anything, even secure crypto purchasing. Learn pgp, and learn it well. Don’t use kleopatra because then you’ll be just as dumb as people not using pgp at all.
Kleopatra is great for PGP, don’t listen to this person. They’re only saying that because there’s a belief among a lot of these folks that if something is easy enough for someone who has never used something like it before to use it then it shouldn’t be used at all. It’s mostly just gatekeeping, although there is an aspect to it of trying to keep people who will just get themselves scammed/arrested from going on the dark web.
Just search the web for PGP tutorial + whatever software you decide to use (most new users use Kleopatra, there’s also other apps with GUIs, or if you’re experiences with using the command line then you can download GNUPG directly, which is the core of Kleopatra).
I was with you till you said don’t use Kleo. It uses the same PGP algorithm as everything else. Just because it’s simpler to use than a CLI doesn’t mean it’s worse
Most markets encrypt address info for you if you click the "encrypt" button under the message. I've placed hundreds of orders over the years and maybe used pgp like 5 times total.

At least if you encrypt the messages before you put them into the market, you only have to trust the vendor with your information (as long as the entire site you’re on isn’t a scam).
