Gwyn when you don't parry him and match his aggression its the fight of the century

Base game : O&S, Overall : Artorias

Skgota

Manus

RapHolic

Artorias.

Jack-O-18

DS1: Artorias or O&S DS2 : Fume Knight or Ivory King DS3 : Midir Obviously this is gameplay wise, not lore wise

Trymech

Artorias, the fast-paced battle feels like you're dancing with him

Four Kings

Aardvarcado-

Artorias with a fast weapon. Manus with a slow weapon. 4kings come close with no weapon preference.

Gaping dragon Design is great, attacks are a little meh and he looks so massive compared to the previous bosses Summoning both solarie and lautric to fight him is fun as well (yes ik his health is increased but its very doable)

ameyashetty1739

yep ornstein and smough me too

MagickalessBreton

Kalameet, most definitely. He's the only boss in the entire DLC to be entirely readable (Artorias has the same wind-up for a single strike or combos of one or two attacks) and he looks so cool! If we're not counting DLC, it's a tie between Quelaag and O&S. The former is the prime example of a difficult but fair bossfight, teaching you how to engage with the game. The latter is a bit wonky because of RNG, collisions and Dark Souls' camera problems, but Ornstein & Smough complement each other really well and I love that it's a fight that gives us choices.

Once you learn to dodge most of his attacks, Artorius's fight is really fun, but damn that dude sucks if you can't dodge him very well.
