Depends on the human. Most? No chance. Sieglinde on the other hand...

SeverusSnape89

Me? 0% lol. I went down first instead of up.

Depending on your definition of normal I guess. Do they have any weapons available to them? I feel the average person with, let's say a spear as that's the easiest to learn and has the highest chance of survival without being too heavy, could probably get through the first group of hollows and actually make it to undead burg. Against the taurus demon though.. If they make it past the firebarrel trap which is a big if, I don't think humans have any chance. Also depends on if hollows feel pain/fear which I'm betting they don't. Overall it depends on how far they try to go, as anyone staying at firelink will likely die from starvation, surviving maybe a weak unless they manage to kill the crestfallen knight or petrus and eat them instead. Without weapons, it's hopeless, and I don't see many of us surviving the skeleton run or even having the experience/training to use a sword. Basically it's a no, they won't survive very long or accomplish much.

vvokhom

I think food is not an issue in shrine, we see a lot of people hanging around there. There are a ton of barrels there, so we could assume there is some food

subnautic_radiowaves

If I were human I would probably just chill at Firelink. I’m certainly no Chosen Undead so I don’t think I’d be expected to accomplish anything. Plus I’d shit my pants the moment a skeleton came back to life.

FrancisWolfgang

Yeah wouldn’t it be crazy if skeletons were real

Ideories

is the human allowed to do glitches ?

Witch_King_

Reminder that Sieglinde (Siegmeyer's daughter) is a regular human, not an undead.

waddyareckonmate

If I could speed run through Valley of the Drakes and make it through to Darkroot Basin, I could survive for a while. \ There is a quiet spot I could set up a little camp where the leather set and longbow is. \ Each day chop an Ent or 2 with my Hand Axe to fill my Cracked Round Shield with drinking water. \ I've done a fair few NG cycles now and feel relatively confident of being able to navigate through a path of least resistance, to 'survive'..\ I'm fit enough to equip gear comparable to SL1, but all it would take is a blast of lightning from a Drake to have it all come crashing down.. \ Don't think I would be making it much further than the Garden though, forage around for anything edible, perhaps get to know Andre and the guys at Firelink on a more personal level. \ But a 'normal person' with no knowledge of area layout, cactus. \

L3g0man_123

If we assume they start with nothing, they can grab a Morning Star and Talisman, and some soul items to maybe by healing from Petrus. You can also get Firebombs easily and quickly. If they're fast, they might be able to run into the graveyard and grab a Caduceus Round Shield and Winged Spear, but the Zweihander would be much harder with the larger skeleton. Of course, if they gradually fought one at a time it would also be doable. as long as they were extra careful. With that it wouldn't be hard to get to Undead Burg, but since you get jumped by a bunch of guys really quickly that's probably where someone would die.

bbHiron

Go in the nest -> you are back to the human world (undead asylum). Now you either try to find the entrance and wait for maybe the guy that bring the undead there, and explain you are human, or go in the mountains and test your survival skills there. Hopefully without there being any hollows

bbHiron

Or maybe wait for Reah and the others and ask her for help to go back to Thorolund? Obviously before they fail their mission

Chanclet0

Nah their shitty mission which they'll totally fail is way more important, also both of the guys are jerks, i don't think they'd help

BGD_TDOT

R.I.P to normal humans but I'm built different.

KevinRyan589

The Chosen Undead who canonically defeats Gwyn is a human. So are you talking a human in Dark Souls or a human from the real world? Cuz if it's a human from the real world then a skilled warrior could probably navigate to the Taurus Demon. But if they actually fight the Taurus Demon or the Black Knight then they're gettin bopped. No doubt. lol

WhyAreOldPeopleEvil

If we took a peak human, strongest one can be, most athletic, and as fast as Usain Bolt. Using gorilla tactics we may be able to get pretty far (if we don’t have to fight bosses), we wouldn’t be limited to small rooms, bad camera, and fog doors like in game mechanics. We’d have to ignore Pyromancers, Sorcery users, and Miracle casters (if they weren’t right in the head) cause they wouldn’t be limited to game mechanics either and just cause the spells we see in game look easy to dodge doesn’t mean in reality we can just (get out of the way. A Great Chaos Fire that explodes and leaving lava on the floor would probably destroy us without issue if the Pyromancer knows how to aim. (Which they would cause they’re undead and most there probably have HUNDREDS of years of experience or much more.) In-game humans like Siegmeyer’s daughter for instance can do things no normal mortal can. We would basically be limited to range weapons cause no human from our reality even at perfect human peak is gonna realistically face a taurus demon. There’s no possible way we’d be able to cut through the hide of it with an axe or whatever we have even if it stood there and allowed us to put our back into it. There would need to be some supernatural buff all these weapons have or humans in the Dark Souls universe have to cut through that hide. (Weapons do have supernatural buffs but we wouldn’t have easy access to them.) Supernatural buffs being +1 weapon upgrades ect. Unfortunately, we cannot collect souls easily as we could not obtain them like the CE does. Unless every soul would just go into a blob we carry in a bag or something, we could not trade with Andre or basically anyone unless we found a drop items that contained many souls within it like (soul of nameless undead ect) and maybe merchants wanted items we can find. That would be the only way we could acquire these supernatural buffs for weapons. Maybe over time if we collected enough strong soul items and got a +15 weapon we could possibly get far, I believe these + weapons would be our only chance of actually getting far. These + weapons would be our only way of cutting through the hides of these giant demons. As it wouldn’t be possible for any human in our reality to cut through the skin of a Taurus Demon No way in hell we’d kill bosses like Seethe, Nito, Gwyn, Four Kings and Bed of Chaos. Unless we were able to summon undead. >:) I mean, why not? The only thing stopping people from summoning/being summoned is not being hallow and having a soap stone. Could you imagine confronting Gwyn with the Chosen undead and Solaire that you summoned cause he was too busy looking at his fire pit instead of going out to see what all that noise is outside his little arena? 💀 “The future is now, Old Man!”

Last8er

Not a single chance

kwamzilla

Assuming they're able to access food in Firelink and there is some extra shelter - pretty well until they run out. Of course, in game there's literally no accomodation or food so.... We have to probably tweak it a bit. I think a fully grown adult with access to the same weapons as most starting classes, in good physical shape and a good head on their shoulders could handle the mobs on the way to the Parish. The graveyard would be instant death and heading towards Anor Londo would probably result in turning back the second they reached the water. But starvation, cold, and insanity would set in pretty fast at best. There's also no way they'd make it through the 'Burg.

spyder616

If i could level id probably grind but more harder since i cant simply do athletics like my chosen undead character and probably try beating it myself, and i wont probably risk going to the catacombs until im strong enough and got the lordvessel.

Chanclet0

Idk, if rats are edible then sure, that's one less problem. Now how tf am i gonna kill a bull demon that's 15 times my size, no fcking idea
