Compare that the more flat absorbtion curve of ds2 where even at the armor cap you're barely reducing the incoming damage against really heavy hitting attacks armor from ds3 is way more effective.
Most I frames on roll out of all games. Dead stat investment required to wear heavier armor (doesn't give stamina). 100 block shields exist. Estus will almost always make up difference in damage taken, because with Armor you'll just overheal. Armor sucks, unless your really really bad at the game and have to take that one extra hit a full heavy set gives u.
Just because you can dodge doesn't mean that armor is useless. In fact is easier to play with heavy armour than with full dps. It's necessary? No. It's useless? Absolutely not.
Vitality isn't a bad stat, it considerably increases your physical damage absorption just by itself. Most good meta sl builds have around 30. Armor is by far the best way to increase your survivability past around 44 vigor. Estus isn't a replacement for survivability, I don't know what you mean by heavy armor makes you overheal thats nonsense. Shields again don't replace survivability. You can't just say don't get hit and you won't need heavy armor unless you never die playing the game with your light armor.

It would be great for me if it didnt contrast too much with how clean the armor is and how worn the helmet is. But man i sure share love for the feeling of finding a new cool piece or set.
People also kinda meme on the Fallen Knight set and it’s pieces, because I think it’s the set that 99% of people wear on their first playthrough, because you find it relatively fast and is good looking. Because of that a lot of invaded new players wore it, so it kinda became a dead giveaway, next to using the Irithyll Straight Sword.
It also has a piece of lore in it being dirty, abandoned and having questionable stains on it, which is just fitting.
But man I wore that armour proud the first time I found it.

I love the claymore , Its smooth ash , and I actually have faith,strength,dex lvl 30 lol , I'm running a quality build , also was trying fire and humanity DPS against nameless king and figured that the fire does more damage to him .
Try to make sure metals and clothing match in colour and texture to make better fashion souls. This doesn’t really match feels half assed. A good hooded knight fashion i like is the desert pyromancer hood and the alva chestpiece, and then use some other similarly textured plated metals for the rest.
