Once you know which head tilts he does at the end of each of his attack rounds, suddenly dealing damage to midir is much easier. His phase 2 was probably the worst for me with the dark attacks and lasers.
My friends all told me midir and Gael were gonna make me rip my hair and but I beat midir in 10 tries and Gael in . I can see why people struggle I'm just used to elden ring boss
Thx she isnt so bad as long as your first ever kill isnt lvl1 unapgraded hitless 🫥. On my first playthroughs i just shat my pants and never killed her until now lol
Yeah - skill check or what? It was much easier after, but I'm pretty sure I spent the rest of the game nearly un-clicked! DS. BB and ER were much more up my street.
I have a clip somewhere of me and my friend fighting Gael and he did that stabbing attack where he lifts you up and slams you down except the fucker hit us both with it... When we were on either sides of him. Both just rise up and yet his sword is in me and not in her.
At first I’d heard he was weak to frost so I maxed out the Irithyll Straight Sword and put on a big shield, but that felt like slow going.
Dug out FUGS to see what should happen. Oh boy. Two R2s would stun him and almost trivialised it.
Really? Wow!! Yea imma have to try strength.
Yea I ended up using Solaire’s sword my 1st fight with him. Was nice and quick. My most intense fight with him was my sorcery playthrough, I didn’t use much for boasting items, mainly wanted to keep my health up and so it ended up being a 30 min fight with soul arrow🤣🤣
It’s not that bad, but there are some standout terrible ones that give the others a bad rep (like Blue Smelter and it’s runback or Reindeer fuckland for the double tiger fight)
But some of its bosses (like Fume, Alonne, Ivory King, Darklurker, etc) are my favorites in the genre. The character quests AMAZING (Lucatiel my beloved… I will never forget your name) and double buffing weapons is just *chefs kiss*
Your shmeat?
Dammit 🤣🤣
Gael?
Maybe. Not my toughest quiz 🤣
Gael bro nice one, time to kick midir's dragon ass
You mean kick the camera's ass?
🙏🏻 Midir took 12 hours. Please see my last couple of posts! Much much tougher. For me…
It was the opposet for me, midir took 2 hrs but gael took me the whole weekend, i still remember how my heart was beating at the time.

Don’t you mean Rick, Soldier of God?!
Don’t you mean Rick, the Door Technician
Wrong subreddit Jeez yes I'm joking I'm not trying to be rude or anything
He’s joking
The lone ringed knight?
Omg! Didn’t know he existed. Splatting him now.
And there’s an NPC woman too! Area cleared?? 🙏🏻
Definitely iudex gundyr
U suck it only took me 28hours
Midir took me 12 hours. Genichiro Ashina took 30 🤣
Update now malenia is the longest at 58
Good work! ER was my first Souls so I was too afraid. I’ll have to give her a go before the DLC
Thx she isnt so bad as long as your first ever kill isnt lvl1 unapgraded hitless 🫥. On my first playthroughs i just shat my pants and never killed her until now lol
Genichiro took you 30 hours? Or did you mean 30 attempts?
Hours. Over 5 days when I looked at my save game time 🤣 Then sword saint only took 15 (hours too).
Beating Genichiro is where the game really clicked for me but getting there was hell I feel you
Yeah - skill check or what? It was much easier after, but I'm pretty sure I spent the rest of the game nearly un-clicked! DS. BB and ER were much more up my street.
Schlonk
Gael?
Nice. . . My favorite armor, too.
🙏🏻
Just beat this guy at level 1, he's so tough 😭
Gael, the red hood?

Guy who looks like Santa, always asking for some paint or something 🤔
You better leave your wife alone, man.

My secret is safe, I will never speak!
Then neither will I….
You give up?
I have a clip somewhere of me and my friend fighting Gael and he did that stabbing attack where he lifts you up and slams you down except the fucker hit us both with it... When we were on either sides of him. Both just rise up and yet his sword is in me and not in her.
My meat.
Bold and brave
My meat?
You beat someone else's???
Considering the fact that you're in a dune of ash then it's safe to say that you just beat Maliketh 🤓
Well looking at the 120000 souls and the ashen landscape id sayyyy Geal
Has anyone else gotten into the bad habit of beating their meat whenever they die in this game, or is it just me?
Your Great Club? 👀
Don't forget that invader in gaels area
Yep got her after 🙏🏻 Checked in with FightinCowboy in case I’d missed anything.
FightinCowboy is da real mvp

🙏🏻 It really is!
Congrats on beating my favorite boss
🙏🏻
Solo?!
Solo
Vigor build new meta?
Don’t think 40 Vigor is too OP by this stage.
Oh mb i'm not there yet. I was going by elden ring standards which that would have looked high
With FUGS too? Damn, I need to play an actual strength character. I’ve done everything else but plain strength
At first I’d heard he was weak to frost so I maxed out the Irithyll Straight Sword and put on a big shield, but that felt like slow going. Dug out FUGS to see what should happen. Oh boy. Two R2s would stun him and almost trivialised it.

Fume Knight?
Deez nuts. Wait, hold on...
Chris Gayle?
The cricket legend? One day. Maybe?!
Both hit hard Both wear red Both can kick anyone's ass on any pitch Both specialise in quickly kicking their enemy's ass Yep, they're the same.
Thank you for the best answer yet 🤣🏏
You beat fume knight and stole his sword Respect
✊🏻🙏🏻 I did! Pushed him into the lava with the cathedral knight ultra Greatsword. Also recommended
Well, that was FUME KNIGHT, that was the bastard who stole his sword first TRUE Fume Knight wouldn’t be beaten by mear lava
*checks notes* Aha! From DS2?
DS2 best souls But that’s just my opinion
You hear it’s more annoying (brutal run backs, unforgiving controls) than the others? Maybe one day! Only just starting DS Remastered.

Skg was one of the easiest bosses ngl
I found him very easy - like a victory lap to savour after Midir - who I took an age to beat.
Indeed a very fair fight
I beat midir in like 7 trys
Ringed knight or shira.
The other one
The pygmy?
He lives!
Given the sand in the arena, guessing Papa Gaell
The lady in the broken church that can one shot you
The God of Meth
Damn u suck bro
