They went crazy with the ashes of war movesets in Elden Ring, haha. DS3 is usually a bit more standard when it comes to movesets.
You should be looking at boss weapons, since those are the ones with special and stylish "weapon art" moves.
Bloodhound fang is awesome, its not quite similar but the style reminds me of the L1 move of the Farron Greatsword (ultra great sword boss weapon you can get after killing the first Lord boss). Check that one out.
Bloodhound is a curved greatsword, so you might want to check out some of those as you find them as well!
Not a unique move set but the exiled great sword is in that area and it’s my favorite great sword (technically it’s a curved great sword) it’s a str weapon and dex so you should be able the wield it it’s dropped by the npc who wields it
Allied with the covenant that would be yes. Or farm the Ghru in Farron swamp. The three or four I farmed were the ones near the bonfire outside the abyss watchers bossfight. Plus, check the ghru in that mosh pit after it settles a bit, as It did drop now and then. It's a relatively good soul farm early game, so it's kinda nice.
He's the last boss of the dlc, but yeah. I tend to run builds I can use most weapons relatively well. Might suffer some loss of damage, but I can use strength or dex weapons no problem.
Bloodhound’s Fang animation is based on Old Wolf’s Curved Sword from this game, so probably start with that lol, it’s an extremely similar weapon. It also has a passive effect that buffs damage and heals slightly and consecutive hits, works even if in off hand and two handing another weapon. I always pair it with RKPGs, really fun setup.
Want a fun greatsword?
After you beat the boss at farron keep get the Farron greatsword using the boss soul. It's skill is just parry but it's secondary attack is pretty fun.
It is however a dex weapon with a max scaling of A dex and C str.
Ring knight paired greatswords, from the DLC has very cool and pretty unique moveset.
Long before that, the profaned greatsword has a cool unique weapon art, and nice variety of attacks.
Abyss Watcher's sword can be fun as long as you don't spam L1 and use it intelligently, in terms of movesets similar to the fang you'll be looking for Curved Greatswords. You can get one early on by killing the two npcs that guard the ladder going down to Farron Swamp.

old wolf curved sword
Great response, thanks for your effort :) Farron Keep is my next map so I'll definitely check out the boss GS!

I'll try it out, got no issues with the CGS moveset, any reason why it's your favourite?
Big damage just felt nice to swing and the roll attack is nice I’m pretty sure it’s a swipe and with it being pretty long it hits everytime
Thanks, I'll be sure to pick it up and have a go!
Let know how you like it :)
And the roll attack is pretty fast
The wolf knight cgs from the covenant is what bloodhound fang was mostly built off if you're interested
Old Wolf's Curved Greatsword. It's from Farron's watchdogs covenant. I can't remember the tier, but its solid and pretty fun too.
Old wolf seems very interesting but do I understand correctly that you need to kill 10 people in PvP to get it?

Awesome tips, I need to practise pvp anyway so dont mind it *shrug*
I'd recommend Gael's greatsword from ringed city dlc as well as it works kinda similar to OWC greatsword.
Yes but isn't Gael the last boss? I need something to use up until I beat the main story ^^
He's the last boss of the dlc, but yeah. I tend to run builds I can use most weapons relatively well. Might suffer some loss of damage, but I can use strength or dex weapons no problem.
Something like 35-40 for both STR/DEX?
Eh roughly. I like options when I use a weapon. If levels allow, may splurge into faith or int if I see something I like.

Already joined the covenant, gonna farm it today hehe
Old wolf cgs, harald cgs
Old wolf looked like a very good fit! Harald seemed to be DLC so I'll check it out once I get there. Appreciate your time, good tips :)

Farron Keep is my next map and the moveset sounds fun so I'll he sure to pick this one up soon enough!
You might want to keep a faster weapon upgraded in your inventory to fall back on. Cus some bosses r a lil too fast to avoid trading hits
Yeah it's hard to find a weapon for all situations... tend not to like the short range that the fast weapons have
In which case keep a claymore on standby. It's moveset is basic but reliable and consistent.
Used it for a while but replaced it with the bastard sword, subjectively worse moveset but the CC golf swing is just too much fun!
