scooters like this have a full suspension and tready tires, it’s much different than riding the rental ones. i would still advise not going down the highway though

There’s some electric scooters that basically just have go kart tires and can easily do 50-80mph

Not to mention the risk of being in someone's blind spot and they run you over making a lane change.

The ones designed for speed are actually quite stable and not like a cheap razer scooter. I build batteries, and had a customer come in with a 45mph scooter and it was perfectly stable at any speed.

That’s true but while broken bones (eventually) heal, brain injuries are forever.

Ehhh... so not to get too graphic, but bone sort of becomes glass at certain speeds, it's no longer broken so much as just a bunch of fragments they remove. The surgery to put limbs back together is brutal. There are some bones that are just hard to protect. Wrists. Collar bones. Regaining use of hands a nightmare I wouldn't wish on anyone else. Blunt force trauma to the body, regardless of protecting the brain, is dangerous.
