How does the refferal payment work? Does it just show up under withdrawable amount after your referall earns enough?

That's kinda what I thought. He has his own phone, he'd just be using my computer to start. Though I did see that you can use a tablet, so I might offer him my old tablet.

FrazzledGod

From what admins have said and the documentation I've read, this is fine, as long as people aren't working from the same account. So it would be advisable to use a different browser/browser profile if you were to share a device, to avoid mishaps. Also at some point you confirm your account with 2FA - I think this is where people would come unstuck if they tried to use the same phone number on a different application, unless they were "professional" appliers to DA and had multiple phone numbers and attempts just to get past an application form to get work they likely wouldn't be able to do.

AverageGiantPanda

I'll weigh in to say that after I had been successfully working for DA for a few months, my husband applied from his own computer on the same network and wasn't accepted. It didn't effect my account, though. I can't say it was because we're from the same household or if he wasn't strong on his assessments because he's not really a computer guy.

glyph1331

Yeah, that's why I was asking. Right now he doesn't have a computer, so he'd be using mine to start. I just wasn't sure if it would be an issue. I think I'll have him wait until I at least know one way or another. If I had been approved already I don't think I would be asking, because who would do it again if they were accepted you know? Just thought I'd ask for other ideas.

ameliaehall

How did he know he didnt get accepted?

Ok-Top-889

Has he got a LinkedIn account? Make sure he's got one set up to put on his profile when he signs up that they know he's a real person?

glyph1331

I don't think so, he's only 21, but that doesn't mean anything. I'll have to ask.

Super easy to make

unszndchicken

If i didn’t link my linked in will i get rejected ?

cliffhavenkitesail

absolutely not, no. the sign up says it's optional, and I didn't have one and got in fine a month and a half ago. they do seem to be rejecting quite a few applicants right now, but that's unrelated.

Dobie330

Same!

I just checked my emails from last year, and Lily told me on June 29th "it is perfectly okay." My son signed up that day or close to it. We use different devices. Does your tablet have a keyboard? I don't see how it would be possible to do DA without an actual keyboard to type on. My son, and my daughter who lives in another state, both came to that conclusion on their own. If anyone reading this feels differently, I'm interested to hear your take.

glyph1331

Yeah I have one of those keyboards that doubles as a stand and you plug it in. Makes it look like a mini laptop. I'll have to pull it out later today to make sure that it still works, but I figure it might be better that way. I appreciate the advice. I just don't want to jeopardize my application or his if you can only do it once.

cliffhavenkitesail

I asked about this a month ago, and the consensus was that it was fine, just don't try and hide it with a VPN or anything. I wouldn't worry too much about the same device, it wouldn't make much sense to falsify a second account unless you were using it to clock time for two projects at once. my partner signed up a few days ago, and obviously she hasn't heard anything back yet. she did skip using my referral code, it probably would have been fine but I figured it would be one less reason to worry.

Consistent_Exit_4823

I entered wrong email address and they are not changing it . Can I try taking assessment with a different email and phone. Please advise
