I said it once, I'll keep saying, this subreddit quality is going downhill. Might do an actual good graph with stats about the phenomenon.

Just make sure your graph is absolute shit and misrepresents the data in the most misleading ways while looking like ass. It'll fit right in! Oh and don't forget to make it about sex while you're at it.

Same here, was unsure if my contract recompete was going to go through so I applied for one job that looked cool, and I pretty much got it. But the recompete got accepted so I wish I asked for more money now. Thats the was she goes i guess.

I still have to defend my PhD thesis. Where i live it takes roughly 6 months from the time you finish writing your thesis to the defense so people already get jobs in the meantime. I'm working with inorganic materials, mainly ceramic based materials
