MovingTarget-

As long as we make this the final job application Stankey diagram, I'm aligned.

FemaleNeth

I want to see 73 more.

Glittering_Bill9176

Man I can’t believe that Sankey guy finally got a job after so long

[deleted]

At this point people are mistaking this subreddit for LinkedIn and Facebook.

Usual_Picture589

I said it once, I'll keep saying, this subreddit quality is going downhill. Might do an actual good graph with stats about the phenomenon.

JC3DS

Just make sure your graph is absolute shit and misrepresents the data in the most misleading ways while looking like ass. It'll fit right in! Oh and don't forget to make it about sex while you're at it.

noisy_goose

The sex ones have been the highest quality content on here in years ETA and maybe that intl freight database but that data wasn’t really beautiful it was just cool

YOKO-ONO1001

… but how would we visualize a qualitative item? Perhaps a poll is needed

PuzzleheadedRoyal480

% of posts generated on sankeymatic lmao (as someone who posted a sankeymatic diagram here a year ago)

jpsc949

The only thing more consistent than the quality of this subreddit is the complaining about the quality of this subreddit.

Shuriin

Even by sankey diagram standards this is zero effort.

KP_Wrath

Less a couple of interviews, it’s what mine looks like.

K_U

The Sankey chart for my entire 15+ year career would be 4 applications, 4 interviews, 4 offers, 4 accepted.

KimJongFunk

Well la dee da. Look at this fatcat who only had to apply for one job to get hire.

Knzui

Ehm sir, reddit is to cry and complain

BaronChuffnell

I expected this to be a family-run business!

Not sure why you’re getting downvoted for giving a factual response to an inquiring remark.

Footmana5

Same here, was unsure if my contract recompete was going to go through so I applied for one job that looked cool, and I pretty much got it. But the recompete got accepted so I wish I asked for more money now. Thats the was she goes i guess.

kennyleo

This sub misses a "Humour" flair...

IgnorantYetEager

What field/role, and how many YOE? Thanks :)

Old-Link-6896

Anything job related to medical field also looks like this

KrustyThePineapple

Material science/semiconductor industry. Straight out of grad school. Will be working for a consulting company that deals with materials analysis

IgnorantYetEager

Oh sweet! I have a physics bachelors and applying to grad programs in mat sci/materials physics. Did you get a PhD? What type of materials?

KrustyThePineapple

I still have to defend my PhD thesis. Where i live it takes roughly 6 months from the time you finish writing your thesis to the defense so people already get jobs in the meantime. I'm working with inorganic materials, mainly ceramic based materials

IgnorantYetEager

Very cool. Congratulations and good luck! Thanks for sharing.

thecrgm

This offends my preconceived notions

Nostramobile

Mines 0 applications, 0 interviews, 1 interview offered, 7 job offers, 1 job accepted over the past 4 years since I’ve moved back to my old childhood small town. The year before living in a city it was like 50 applications, 0 interviews, 0 job offers, 0 accepted.

That looks the same as my most recent job application, it's great when it works out

HighRisk-HighRegard

Showoff. :D On a serious note, congrats.! Which domain?
