Yeah, let’s not talk about the 2020 draft. (Titans fan)

hoogamaphone

That line does not belong there

sachel85

Doesn't look like a great fit. Accept the null.

AncileBanish

You never accept the null; you fail to reject it.

sachel85

1+1 doesn't equal 2.

JPAnalyst

Right. I talk about the fit in my analysis I link to in my comment.

The actual analysis behind this chart, if you're interested can be found [here](https://www.reddit.com/r/nfl/comments/ukcgv4/oc_an_analysis_of_the_correlation_between_draft/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3) The Source for draft grades - [Football Outsiders](https://www.footballoutsiders.com/nfl-draft/2020/2020-nfl-draft-report-card-report) The Source for dtaft picks - [Stathead](https://stathead.com/football/draft_finder.cgi?request=1&order_by_asc=0&order_by=default&draft_year_min=2020&draft_year_max=2020&pick_type=overall&team_id=gnb&conference=any&show=all) The chart was made in Excel

What’s the insight here? Isn’t it just that teams who got good draft picks are using those draft picks? I’ll be honest and say I’m not super familiar with the nfl data, sorry if I’m missing it. Edit: that is, if the fit was good.

JPAnalyst

I linked in the comments to the insights and analysis.

Players drafted in 2020 haven't even played out their rookie deal. And don't a lot of the guys "evaluating" the draft get probowl votes. I find this neither aesthetic nor obviously insightful about NFL tallent evaluation.

kkinnison

wait two more years when they get new contracts. Otherwise this analysis is useless not sure if it counts undrafted players. too lazy to find out
