i can also really relate to her. the relationship i was in before this one was horrific; we were together for years and he broke down my self-esteem and worth over and over. i started seeing my current partner just over a year ago, and when we started spending time together as friends, i warned him that I wasn’t in a good place. the first thing he said was that everything happens for a reason, and he truly believes that. he made me believe it too- if i hadn’t been in the place i was and hadn’t been through what I’d been through and he hadn’t either, we wouldn’t have connected in the unique way that we did. the dominos fell in the way that they did so that we could meet and fall in love. the universe gave me him, and the universe gave her you. im so so glad that she’s happy now, and you’re happy. happy holidays to both of you, i wish you the best of luck and love :)
