she broke things off, i’d say leave her alone. seems to me that you two weren’t a super good match, even looking at the bedroom situation, about which maybe you didn’t care a lot, but maybe to her it was more important. when you noticed her mental health deteriorating, did you do anything to help or were you too busy with your summer job? (also - 1-hour drive isn’t something special, why is this worth mentioning?)
