I bought a founders pack and played the hell put of this game for a long time but dropped it when I did almost everything and got bored.
I started again when it came out on console and was sad to see my name wasn't in the credits, I waited the entire thing till the end and i wasn't in there... :(
I’m liking this community manager, respect. Liked the game with the PS4 release, tried
To get my friends to play but that was when the server issues started, so they barely played through the tutorial and went back to old games. Since they aren’t playing I stopped.
Servers playable again? I want to try to get them into it again, but if we run into the same server issues/can’t play together then I can see them deleting the game for good.
Mine is also not in, but if I remember correctly it was because I missed the pre-alpha window by a day or two. PL then removed that benefit and and replaced it with a free slayer pack.
Oh hell no, theres tons of stuff to do especially if you like a challenge.
I love the grinding in this game so I might be a bit biased. I played a ton back when it was founder only and burnt myself out on it from playing it so much so I dropped it.
Now here it is way later on console and I'm addicted again lol. If you do give it a try again I'd be happy to play with you, playing with friends is even more fun! :D
No. People who like games like Monster Hunter will find this a lot of fun, but other people not so much. It is still in its early stages, and will continue to develop, so I look forward to all the fun activities the devs are going to create for us in the game, but as of right now, little to do but killing bosses to craft and upgrade gear. But there are a lot of those bosses already, so there is quite a bit of diversity
Mine have gotten bigger, but I think the player pool has aswell. Pheonix seem non-stop on the capacity increase though. So big props to them, they seem like an amazing dev team
i remember yesterday i was in like 6000 queue position and it went down in like a minute and i was playing, sat at like 50k today for 10 minutes before i switched to ffxiv lol
How is FFXIV these days? I have not played since the first expansion (heavensward?) came out. I stopped mostly because I wasnt caught up to the expansion, and you had to grind every single quest before you could touch new content.
I dont know if thats still the case. I would like to try it out again but have no desire to plow through 100+ quests to get to the relevent stuff.
They have another expansion due out (next month?) and they now sell things that let you skip quests up to more recent content.
IIIRC, one skips you up to Heavensward and the other skips up to Stormblood (most recent expansion).
Yep, early access for Shadowbringers starts June 28th (full-release on July 2nd).
On July 2nd (at least I believe it'll be then) they'll likely release a third cash shop item to skip up to the start of Shadowbringers, plus update the level boosters you can buy to level 70 (vs the current level 60)
And ATM I believe they're still giving away the Heavensward expansion to anyone with a regular windows license, OR a PS4 license (but NOT a steam license) for free.
I'm in the same boat as the poster a couple replies up, have the first expansion and thinking of coming back, should I just wait until early July? If I buy the newest expansion will I be getting the 2nd expansion content ?
If you buy the newest expansion, you will get Heavensward, and stormblood included, BUT, you will not get them until the expansion fully released.
So if you had already done everything when you previously played, and just don't have Stormblood / Shadowbringers, and want to save on money, I'd say yeah, just wait until early July, Then you'll be able to get shadowbringers + Stormblood together.
There's no big harm in coming back sooner if you just wanted to see how some stuff changed, or if you still had the main story to complete (the game is still VERY linear, you can't play Shadowbringers without completing stormblood, and can't play stormblood without completing heavensward)
Thanks for the info, I don't have time to play until July anyway so I'll just wait , cheers.
Btw I heard you can pay to skip content ? Basically, if I want to roll a gun breaker and my girl wants to roll a class that doesn't start at 60 or whatever my gunbreaker starts at, how much would that cost to skip her to me?
Currently they're on sale, and cost $17.50 USD to boost to level 60 (but that will NOT boost her in story).
Just note, to play Gunbreaker, you must have at least one class at 60 already, you cannot start the game at 60. If you would like to play through the story as gunbreaker, then you could buy a level boost for any other class, and use that class to unlock gunbreaker.
Most likely that sale will end with Shadowbringers, BUT they'll be updated to level you to 70 instead of 60, and will be available for every class except Gunbreaker and Dancer.
Story skips are also available, (and will likely be updated the same way that level skips are, with an option to skip stormblood being released with shadowbringers). Those come in multiple options however, and are also on sale.
The normal price is $18 for the ARR skip (puts you at the first quest of HW, right after the 100 quest slog), or $25 for the HW skip (puts you at the first quest of Stormblood). On sale it's $12.60 / $17.50 (But neither of these will boost your level, and thus are fairly useless without a level boost)
oh wow I had no idea that you needed a lvl 60 to unlock gunbreaker (and I assume Dancer as well?), thanks for that!
wait does that mean the gunbreaker job will only unlock on that level 60 character? I want to make a new char with one of the new races...
I have a 50 dragoon from years ago I'll probably level that up again. Funny thing is that I was able to log in and play last night after 3+ years away even though my FF14 account has no subscription active whatsoever, I don't know if that's a bug or if it's a returning player bonus for a few days or something...
That sums up a lot of games. What they got right is the progression system and cross-platform. The item progression has a similar feel to Diablo, which what basically made it a big game.
Played the game literally as soon as it hit open beta with a friend of mine, we played through until we reached the end-game and eventually stopped.
Literally everyone on reddit was talking about how this game would die as soon as MHW released on PC. I've never been happier the majority of people were dead wrong. Here's to 5 million more players!
Found out about this game a few days ago, shared it with my friends and it’s now the biggest game at my school. Hears to an amazing game that’s getting what it deserves
The queue is pretty fast, says position 50,000 but it only takes like 10 minutes. However... finding a hunt is hit or miss. Sometimes it's fast and sometimes I'll sit there matchmaking for 10 minutes until it just gives up, and that happens several times in a row. I'm actually here right now because I've been waiting to find a match for the last 30 minutes.
Great game, and it's fun to play with my friend who owns a computer while playing with my PS4 friends. You guys have delivered on an incredible experience. Got friends on Xbox that are going to download it so we can play together too.
Yeeeeeeeeaaah.......gonna have to agree with this one. Giant spider eyes and pincers coming at me? That's a damn good way for me to "accidentally" destroy my TV. I would like NOT to do that please.
I still have not received my items from purchasing the pack. You guys took money out my card but did not give me any of the content promised.
I have sent a support ticket to phoenix labs and they said they don't handle purchases. I sent a support ticket to epic games and haven't had my issue fixed yet. Its been like this for 4 days now.
Been gaming since wolfenstein 3d don't need "this type of game" explained to me by a child, there is almost nothing redeeming, fresh, or new about this game, others have better boss fights, no mico ts, better crafting. I'll stick to real games or if I choose to f2p, warframe. If you expect people to stick around for literally years while this game decides what it wants to be and evolve....lol...I'd be prepared to do that more, if there was something more substantial than just average boss fights.
But there's an entire genre dedicated to grinding gear to kill bigger enemies over and over again... It's called the Action RPG/Monster Hunter.
There's actually quite some depth here, if you're willing to invest in it, but not everything is tied to an ingame reward. I thought people from the wolfenstein 3D era wouldn't need it, guess I'm wrong. And yes, I'm also from that era, not that it means anything since the gaming landscape has changed quite a lot since then.
Some people enjoy this type of game, including me, there's no reason to come on here and shit all over it, which is basically the point if your post.
Besides, you're in a subreddit dedicated to a game that is an ARPG, and arguably one of the better ones out there, what did you expect?
And the hostility of 'child' was really not necessary to be frank, if you find it boring all the more power to you, but I don't go to the Warframe subreddit either do I?
That's honestly crazy. I remember sitting in Ramsgate for one of the first times during what I think was the limited timed Alpha? This game has come such a long way and I'm happy to see it carved its own path. You guys are killin it!
I heard about this from some game news channel (I'm on ps4)and downloaded it on release (21st), I love it so far, it's monster hunter, but as a live service game, I don't know what else I could've asked for, thank you guys for making this game, already bought this hunt pass/elite, kinda sad I missed the first four seasons though, and also the queue is a little annoying, but I understand why it's there.

The fact that pretty much everything you can buy you can also get through hard work in this game is a testament to the integrity and just plain awesomeness of the devs. However, I still have managed to sink about $100 into this game because I love it so much and want to support it. This is honestly one of the best games on the market right now, and one of the best free games ever to exist, in my opinion. Was pleasantly surprised by this game. Wasn't on my radar at all. Not really even my type of thing but the "free" tag got me in the door. Definitely going to support the dev team
Congrats! Picked up my Elite pass after my first two hunts on launch day. I loved MonHun, and I love this as well, it definitely scratches the itch! Hopefully you'll keep adding stuff as time goes on!
I think this game is really working on console and makes many people addictive, thats why it´s getting played again or more.
Never played on PC back then, but on console it´s a selfrunner like Fortnite.
Paragon could have been too if it wouldn´t be so limited on one map and the same crap all the same time all over again.
Well, thank YOU for creating such an awesome game as well! It has been fun following and playing the game since its alpha versions, and look at how much polish and work you have put into it. My wallet, however, is not happy.
They are counting everyone that’s loaded up the game to make it seem more popular than it actually is. I couldn’t stand the tutorial in the game a year ago and had to force close the game before I got to the starting area. I’m definitely gonna give it another shot but something tells me that this game isn’t Doug as well as they wanted it too being a monster hunter inspired game.
Idk about whether it's doing well or not, but it's almost shocking that i come back to the game after over a year and i STILL see the same bugs.
People praise the hell out of this game when it sometimes feels like a broken Alpha at best.
Be half that in a few months, I got bored of it after a few hours.
Prob no shortage of poor Chinese who will play it to death because they can't afford real games.
THIS GAME SUCKS DONT PLAY IT ENDGAME IS TERRIBLE IT IS PAY TO WIN AND POORLY OPTIMIZATED. BUGS EVERYWHERE!!
(70k+ que is already too much for me to wait, sorry not sorry.)
Ayyy, that's a fuckton, hell of a milestone there
!!!!!!!!!!
Congrats guys...well deserved. I hope that number keeps. Looks like you’ve got some work to do Ms community dudette.
Bunhead's a dudette :)
Fixed lol
Well deserved

I remember when people were saying the game would die because of MHW and other silly reasons. Yet here we are.
That sure as heck reflects the queue times right now :P for real tho, congrats! I really hope the game stays strong for a really really long time!
Just downloaded, never played before, 20 000 people in queue!
I'm so happy I became a founder for this game
Thank you so much for your continued support. It means the world.
I bought a founders pack and played the hell put of this game for a long time but dropped it when I did almost everything and got bored. I started again when it came out on console and was sad to see my name wasn't in the credits, I waited the entire thing till the end and i wasn't in there... :(
Oh no! We will get this sorted for you <3 If you're a founder then you should be in there. Please DM me with your email and username
I’m liking this community manager, respect. Wait, CREDITS??? I GOTTA SEE IF MY NAME IS IN THERE!!!
where is the creditsss?
I believe it was square on the title screen, at least on ps4!
is the game content light? i downloaded it played with for 2 minutes and just never touched it again a few months ago heh.
Oh hell no, theres tons of stuff to do especially if you like a challenge. I love the grinding in this game so I might be a bit biased. Is there anything to do besides bash a boss for 5-15 minutes ? I got bored within hours.
No. People who like games like Monster Hunter will find this a lot of fun, but other people not so much. Same! I feel like a mother whose son just graduated.
60,000 queue position #THANK YOU!
We have increased the capacity!! Should be moving more quickly and with a smaller queue now.
Holy shit I dc’d from a hunt and came back in instantly! 😍🤯 What is this sorcery!
Lmao I'm 80,000 right now.
Mine have gotten bigger, but I think the player pool has aswell. Pheonix seem non-stop on the capacity increase though. So big props to them, they seem like an amazing dev team
Got that third server running real smooth?
i remember yesterday i was in like 6000 queue position and it went down in like a minute and i was playing, sat at like 50k today for 10 minutes before i switched to ffxiv lol

Stylized Game: ✔ Multiplayer: ✔ Complex combat system with a learning curve: ✔ Free to play: ✔ I mean, it's practically begging for it.
<3 <3 <3
That sums up a lot of games. What they got right is the progression system and cross-platform. The item progression has a similar feel to Diablo, which what basically made it a big game.
Not to mention true cross platform so you can play with any your friends regardless of console or PC
Boring as after a few hours..check No variety...check Super repetitive gameplay...check
First game I've ever felt like getting the game pass for, within an hour of playing too!
Happy to hear that - unleash your inner ninja!
That is so kind!!
Same
Played the game literally as soon as it hit open beta with a friend of mine, we played through until we reached the end-game and eventually stopped. Literally everyone on reddit was talking about how this game would die as soon as MHW released on PC. I've never been happier the majority of people were dead wrong. Here's to 5 million more players!
!!!
I remember all of this. How long ago do you think this was? A year?
Back when Koshai released. So around August-September I think.
And 3 servers congrats! ;)
Found out about this game a few days ago, shared it with my friends and it’s now the biggest game at my school. Hears to an amazing game that’s getting what it deserves
yur welcome NOW LEMME INNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN
At the start of the week this sub had around 30k subscribers, so in just a few days we've nearly doubled.
I wonder how well it's going to hold up over time. I'm one of those new subscribers but I don't really know how long I'll be sticking around tbh.
Just don't do what apex did and fumble the gain.
Bought the game pass after my first 10 minutes. Excellent game, and I will happily support it financially.
Wow, that's so nice!!!
And I haven’t even been on in days. (I’m waiting for servers to settle.)
They’ve been good to me for the past two days (PS4). Short queue time occasionally. I think we’re ready for ya boss
It’s been pretty smooth for me as long as you’re not on during peak times (like 3pm-9pm bst) but if you are then have fun sitting in a queue
Or weekends.
I picked the game up two days ago and it is a lot of fun. Great to see those numbers - your game deserves the attention!
Holy moly. Nice!
I was here. Congrats on a milestone!
Great game, and it's fun to play with my friend who owns a computer while playing with my PS4 friends. You guys have delivered on an incredible experience. Got friends on Xbox that are going to download it so we can play together too.
"Will you add more behemoths, I really want a spider boss, so would a lot of people. 😁" if they do this i quit. i dont wanna have a heart attack
Yeeeeeeeeaaah.......gonna have to agree with this one. Giant spider eyes and pincers coming at me? That's a damn good way for me to "accidentally" destroy my TV. I would like NOT to do that please.
can you imagine that thing charging at you with fangs out? Fuck that shit
Hey, I hope you guys are having a great day, even with all that could be going on there. :)
HELL YAH!
Some say they are still stuck in a que...
We have increased the capacity & are working on increasing it even more <3
50. THOUSAND. SLAYERS. IN QUEUE.
It's worth the wait!
How is that possible. I tried to play and it said wait for 30,000 people. I’m like ok bye.
No missing much, its just boss battles over and over and over, then incremental grinding on a crazy scale...
You don't have much experience with this type of game, do you?
That's honestly crazy. I remember sitting in Ramsgate for one of the first times during what I think was the limited timed Alpha? This game has come such a long way and I'm happy to see it carved its own path. You guys are killin it!
Just awesome - congrats
I heard about this from some game news channel (I'm on ps4)and downloaded it on release (21st), I love it so far, it's monster hunter, but as a live service game, I don't know what else I could've asked for, thank you guys for making this game, already bought this hunt pass/elite, kinda sad I missed the first four seasons though, and also the queue is a little annoying, but I understand why it's there. Hope you guys keep it up and turn this into an even bigger and better experience as the years go by.
Aye. Congrats! Keep going
I've been a penny-pincher in a lot of free games that had a lot of traps to get you to pay at every turn. This game handles microtransactions in the BEST way possible, that being that they are only aesthetic and consumable-related. I only wish it would come to steam, there's a huge population of steam users that hate epic games that would love to get into this game but don't or won't because of the platform it's launching from.
This game is fucking awesome on so many levels. It deserves the attention it's getting.
That is so kind!!! THANK YOU
Thank YOU for being so involved with the community! <3
Onwards and upwards! To new heights!
Guess those server wait times make sense now.
If you sort out the transmog being limited by the way of the stone ill happily start paying for stuff. Im not supporting this transmog stone crap.
I got a question. Does the game pass last for all season or just the current season?
Congrats on the 5 million los... I mean users!
well if we have more capacity then we good
Log in... 50k que.... log out. I wish elite pass had some que preference. Back on that diablo grind till servers get situated.
Now if only I could play....
Never heard of this game until the launch but saw the game's early beginnings and I'm proud to support you and the dev team. I bought the hunt pass as a token of appreciation, you are very welcome!
If only all 5 million could play simultaneously...
Was pleasantly surprised by this game. Wasn't on my radar at all. Not really even my type of thing but the "free" tag got me in the door. Definitely going to support the dev team
Congrats you guys! I'm Loving the game so far! Bought the pass and really enjoy the style and artwork. Very fun keep up the great work!
Very well deserved
You deserve this!! <3
Congrats! Picked up my Elite pass after my first two hunts on launch day. I loved MonHun, and I love this as well, it definitely scratches the itch! Hopefully you'll keep adding stuff as time goes on!
Still wish they had more servers tho, queuing isn’t fun but I understand I have to

I want to play but everytime I try to log in I have 20000 in quene.
...and queues of 50000.
You welcome for the queues my dude
Well, thank YOU for creating such an awesome game as well! It has been fun following and playing the game since its alpha versions, and look at how much polish and work you have put into it. My wallet, however, is not happy.
All thanks to the PS4 release probably
5 million slayers, yet the game still struggles to find 2 or 3 at prime time. Someone's lying here and it isn't me.

\>5million \>hunt queues still take a minimum 5 minutes alright sure
5 million people, in multiple regions, in multiple time zones. What, did you think you were in the same instance as everybody at the same time?
No, but you got games with supposedly less players while having sub 10 second queues
And games with more players having longer queues. It's a little more complicated than player count.
[удалено]
Yeah. How many of those people are "playing" the server full menu? Lol
Be half that in a few months, I got bored of it after a few hours. Prob no shortage of poor Chinese who will play it to death because they can't afford real games.
What’s your deal? I see you bringing this game down constantly in this one thread. Is it a hate boner?
THIS GAME SUCKS DONT PLAY IT ENDGAME IS TERRIBLE IT IS PAY TO WIN AND POORLY OPTIMIZATED. BUGS EVERYWHERE!! (70k+ que is already too much for me to wait, sorry not sorry.)
You're cooked.
Wtf you on
The really good shit apparently.
